I'd love for some regions from the past to be brought back, especially as we've come so far in terms of hardware advancement and some classic regions like Johto or even Unova deserve a beautiful 3D reimagining.
Unova would be very special. It feels like it was built with an actual 3D game in mind. It has so many different biomes. Even the cities are massive.

i stopped pokemon after 5 so i missed out on gen 6 which i heard good things in terms of concept gimmicks. mega evos was a cool concept i saw. but honeslty a 3d open world would need be made for them because thats the modern style of play now and its a bit outdated i dont think they want remakes to be like lgpe which i seen is similar to x and y but i feel like if done right with proper grpahics then it could be the 2nd remakes of all time after hgss

3 things that I kind of wanna see in a gen 5 remake, if they do one, are the world tournament thing, PokeStar Studios, and the difficulty
optional thing that I kind of wanna see in the remakes, dream world. But I'm not sure how they would incorporate that into the game
To have all these classic experiences get remade is the best thing to do as long as they are done right. If they capture that level of mystique and joy that all 5 brought back in new remakes whether like PLA or chibbi as BDSP I am truly excited for what classic generations receive their own remakes in the future.

Just emulate it if you want those graphics again. You're telling me unova, but with fairy types is worth ~$60? No, thank you. Spike Chunsoft hit a home run on their remake of mystery dungeon. They chose an art style that would translate well to 3d and nailed it. They set a perfect standard for faithful yet polished remake
I really wish this is what they were doing. If they could just build on Pokémon games each year we wouldn’t have to be so stressed each time new games are announced.

For the next new remakes they not only revisit old regions but they totally should introduce brand new Pokémon in those old regions as a sign of evolution of the older generations.

I really want X & Y to return as a remake for the switch. It had the best anime out of them all (technically that’s my opinion) but I still see it as the best. It had great Pokémon, story, and characters. And I would LOVE to see those games return.

Actually you know what'll be fun, if they made Pokemon Liquid Crystal as a Remake for the first time make a Remake successor for the 3rd Game that's never been done before
it makes sense cause 1st Gen was already made in 2018 now Silver & Gold has been done Crystal however is a whole New Story so I wanna see it

They should remake Gold & Silver(Gen 2)/Black & White(Gen 5) because Johto & Unova are the only regions that are not in 3D.

I want a future gen 5 remake, America would be perfect for it as well, a future where Ai has taken over and we are fighting for our lives, a pokemon professor appears, the new pokemon trainer, ask, "Hey professor, whats a tiktok?"
Gosh, I almost forgot how bitter I was about Pokemon's general lack of quality. Still makes me so frustrated to this day, but hey at least Temtem is coming to Switch this year and at least Legends Arceus exists.

Pokemon Black & White is the next Remakes to make it's way in hopefully they don't screw this up & Landerous has some Competition if they add the 4th Legendary to 5th Gen

Hate to disappoint but *none* of this will ever happen. Why? Because the current direction of Pokemon - while polarising - is massively successful. I hated Sword Shield. Incredibly disappointed with BDSP, thought Arceus looked like trash, but none of that matters because they are still breaking records. What we will likely see with Gen 5 remake is basically the same as BDSP
Pokemon legends unova taking place during the british revolution would be awesome because imagine this the galar region and the unova region being enemies in the past similar to The United States were enemies with Great Britain During in past I could even imagine some zacian zekrom and zamazenta reshiram fusions too maybe a new kyrem fusion to enternatus to resemble the original dragon maybe cilian ancestor based off of Benjamin Franklin Lusamine ancestor based off of George Washington a evil sonia ancestor based off of king George the guy who refused to surrender to the usa in the past

I like people that think B3W3 would be a better choice than mere BW remakes. And if we get another Kanto remake... I mean when we get another Kanto remake, I really hope for a Johto postgame that would explain why Red ended up on top of Mt Silver. Maybe even ending by the RedxGold battle (like, getting on top of Mt Silver and Gold arriving just afterwards, serving as the superboss of this game). And for the 3 people that liked LGP/E, a cameo of Chase, Trace and Elaine would be neat.
Pokemon Black and White should be the LAST core titles to be utterly slaughtered - I mean "faithfully" remade. Now? I'd rather see a MMO style of Pokemon - in this day and age, built upon the latest engine with the most eye-watering/ED correcting graphics. And yes, this includes all Regions thoughtfully rolled out, one expansion after the other, while serving old-timers the glorious sequel/trifecta content they have since craved for.
Having Let's Go and ORAS, Game Freak making ANTOHER Kanto remake and a Hoenn re-remake it's kinda dumb... I don't see it happening.
Dude that game you speak of made by unity what a sick looking game. Pokemon should really look like that, its artstyle is amazing, And I love how the camera rotates where the character is moving. Honestly pokemon still suits that style its nolstagic but its nice! Maybe gamefreak should hire that dude from unity to help on a new pokemon project.

2023 -> Sclarlet/Violet DLC - 2024 -> Lets Go Johto - 2025 -> Gen 10 - 2026 -> Gen 10 DLC - 2027 -> Gen 5 Remake. And Between some side games like Leyends.

What would be cool is another/remake of a combo region whether it’s doing the kanto johto in more detail or maybe unova can get a sister location.
I would prefer they made a Pokemon game in the artstyle of both Baldo and Eastward's artsyle. And a once per console ambitious Pokemon game.

I've got a few opinions about what you're saying here:
Firstly, Kanto doesn't need any more remakes for a long time. They had 4 base games in Red, Blue, Green and Yellow. Fire Red and Leaf Green were the remakes of Red, Blue and Green. Let's Go Eevee and Pikachu were the remakes of Yellow, so in reality, Kanto really really do not need any sort of remakes. And your idea for a post game Kanto to take us into Johto? That completely destroys the purpose of Gold, Silver, Crystal, Heart Gold and Soul Silver. At that rate, you might as well merge the two regions together and make a bigger game and give you the choice for which region you start in.
As for Johto, setting the time of events in the past or the future completely destroys the whole premise of what those games are about. We are supposed to clean up what Red decided he didn't want to do after he just vanished. Putting us in the past or future is making a new game for Johto, which seems like the idea you want.
Hoenn also doesn't need another remake. It got OrAs, and it needs a little bit more time for a remake. All the changes you're suggesting these games to have make it out as though you want to change what the games originally had by a lot. You want Wally to have more of a presence than he originally did. From what I can understand, you want a lot of the regional pokemon variants added into the region with the other regional variants of that pokemon and make it seem as though they co-exist there.
As for Unova, I can agree with you on the idea of making two different remakes for Black and White 1, and Black and White 2. As for a Black and White 3, that makes no sense. That would mean adding MORE to the story, which would be having a HGSS moment of having the dregs of team Plasma step up and try and free their boss. Which there is no need for. I'm an avid fan of Unova, Black was my first game and it would absolutely suck and hurt of they didn't do this gen any service.
TLDR/ Kanto, Johto and Hoenn don't need remakes or anything happening to them. Unova needs to be handled with care for a remake

It could just be ghetsis forming a new team plasma though, and colress could be the champion actively trying to stop them. Also hilbert probably released zerkrom so seeing the original dragon could be possible in a black and white 3
I think there should be a Legends title on when both Kanto AND Johto didnt exist at the time which is why they are very close together and its a very big region with some Gens 1 and 2 Pokemon get a ancient regional variant like how Hisuian forms gotten and some from gens 3-8 or 3-7 getting new forms.

I don't disagree with you but once they do that they could use legends style create a new archetype of pokemon games neither remakes nor main series so you can still enjoy theese regions in other styles I mean it would make them more imersive

They need to stop making new pokémon. Just add onto the regions, make them modern, and add features that cater to lesser known pokémon.
All of this is wishful thinking. It's obvious what quality / art styles most Pokemon game fans like. But Nintendo is all about turning a quick profit. Never have I seen their developers match the quality and effort of non-profit fan-made remakes. Look at those epic Zelda: Ocarina of Time remakes with Unreal Engine. Absolutely outstanding, yet Nintendo continues to use an "art style" or as I like to say "art that requires minimal effort" that looks a decade older than it should.
I want kalos remake
Johto is the most necessary game needed. Gen 5 should be made afterwards..
Me personally I just wish Nintendo would release a adapter piece that we can plug into our switch that we can put our DS and 3DS games and play it through our switch I would love to play all the 3DS and DS Pokémon games on my switch I would throw money at this little adapter piece if it cost $100 they have no idea on the Gold mine that they’re sitting on all my DS games are collecting dust and I would love to play them on my switch also I would love the remakes but hopefully they make them Good as this latest game but nothing can replace my heart gold and soul silver those are the best ones in my opinion

No no no I hate the chibi look!!! Also I'm tired of red and blue being redone but essentially being the same game just updated look, just remake gold and silver as it has both regions in 1 game stop wasting time on the first game. Don't get me wrong the first games great the map and roster size is just super dated at this point and unless they did a huge expansion it's pointless imo hence why just johto should be remade

NON Let’s Go Johto Titles are Next Up IMO… there’s too much johto fan service going on in ScVi already to ignore it.
I say NON Let’s Go because Let’s Go was Terribad and WAAAAAAYYYYY to easy.. In NO Pokémon title should you EVER be able to legitimately get a shiny lv100 Pokémon with stats in 500+ BEFORE leaving the FIRST town…
My first play through of LGP I found a shiny male nidoran in viridian city in 45 minutes and had enough candies to lv it to 83 and max stats. Never caught another Pokémon solod the entire game…
We have already gotten a Kanto remake on the switch so why would game freak make another one,there Most likely gonna make that additional johto content dlc.

Fire red was my favorite it was my very first pokemon video game, and my very first starter was a charmander, I still remember playing it as a kid back then, playing for hours I would would even stay up late and hide my Gameboy advance under my pillow just to play it at night.

you are asking wayyyy too much from Gamefreak/Nintendo/TPC.
1. Kanto already has a Switch game
2. I can see a Legends Johto in the future but probably outside the Switch's lifetime
3. You want a generation 3 game that isn't OR/AS but also is OR/AS? What? (also probably not happening, the 3DS was the previous generation console)
4. You want a remake of B/W, B2/W2 AND a B3/W3 game?
In summary: I can only really see a Legends-style game set in Johto and a remake of B/W within the next 3 years. Kids, don't let this idiot get your hopes up.
Also, the amount of entitlement behind "BDSP did not meet my expectations"
Okay, so you go make the game you wanna play then.
IF there was a Gen 5 remake, it WILL NOT BE FAITHFUL and so goes with any future remakes down the line since i was EXTREME disappointed with the lack of content added to be a remake since they removed atone of stuff like not adding all regional variants that already have a Pokemon there and their evolutions in the main story like how some gen 4 Pokemon appeared in the remakes of Gold and Silver where added in the main story line and also including Pokemon from gens 5-8 in the post game to have the Gym leaders and the elite 4 to have Pokemon that they never used in their home region.

If we get Let's go Johto, doesn't make sense to remake gen 1, yet again. 😅
Since Kanto is already there. Gen 3, we already got ORAS. And the rumor/leaks points out for Unova game, either Legend, Remake or BW3. And then gen 6 remakes.
For nostalgia sake, they can port Pokémon gen 1 to 3 via Virtual console thingy for Switch and make compatible with Home.
And Let's go Johto is also a good way to get those new regional forms and fakes + megas. 😏
Anything beyond gen 1 is post-humanity. I'm sorry but if you weren't an OG 9 year old pokefan back in 1998 at the PEAK of pokemania then you simply aren't human and your very existence is brought into question... I'm sorry. - A-X and B-Y
- Day Sun and Night Moon
- Sharp Sword and Strong Shield
- Ancient Scarlet and Future Violet
