Over 4 months sober now and over a month I quit cannabis, it's really worth it. My mind and thoughts are much clearer now. What most upsets me is 'drink shaming' from friends and work colleagues but givin' a damn to them as they are not in my shoes, they don't pay my bills or live my life. Proud of you!! Keep exercising, reinforcing to yourself what really matters to YOU, and live a day at a time. You are making it!!
Thanks for the video, the key difference for me was zero withdrawal symptoms, physical or mental, not even within the first thirty days, after Steffon Barkload and what he suggested it's been 9 months now it's like it never was a problem, reading that last version goolging what he put up. Was a super relief I didn't need AA or meds either.
Congrats bro! 🙌 keep it up. Keep the routine going and dont venture off you got it (Meanwhile ive been relapsing every Saturday for the last 3 weeks ) 😢
Good stuff. I found a lot more stuff improves (including health) in 3-6 month period. 15 months since I quite alcohol and it's a better life, even when life is hard.
Keep going man. I'm 7 days in and feel good but struggling a bit in the arvo. I started my weights 5 days ago and haven't yet gotten back to the pool, but I will. If you have a drink then I'm going quit watching your channel, because I need to do this for my life. Your doing great. Let's keep going. Jay
@@Ah__ah__ah__ah. And all so just to be straight up with serious I am about this and to me if he drinks now well I guess my only choice is to lose faith.
Well done with your sobriety, keep embracing the journey! As a sun-deprived Pommie, spending time in the pool and sunbathing by the pool on a warm sunny day, would really trigger me to sink a few beverages that's for sure. Having plenty of Non Alcoholic beers and Mocktails as a substitute might be the way forward.
You need to. To see when you started , how you're progressing. Your highs, lows, I certainly did as an alcoholic, with signs, brain scans indicating early alzheimer's. My daily writing, journal help me remember, reflect back on my life, what I did wrong, right, when I was happy, sad, mad, as well as the time I spent with my daughter, wife, where we were, when, how I felt. All those will be a memory, perhaps forgotten, maybe one day when my daughter is older, has her own family, she remember how her father was, how to be a good mother, a good parent.
@@raymondlin8728I understand the starting point. I don’t like the counting and then you have a slip and people feel like they’re starting over which is totally not true. But a journal is a must. Just writing your thoughts down. It makes deal with the pain. Accept it. Because that’s the true issue. And stay so busy you don’t allow yourself to think about.
@@Snikliw whatever works for you, keep on doing it. I like to not necessarily look at it, but it gets thoughts, feeling outta my system when nobody understands me. Where I was. In body and mind at the moment. When everyone was at work, school, wherever. And what state of mind at that time. When nobody was around. Definitely not counting days
Hey mate new subscriber but seen a few videos previously. Well done on the improvements and wish you all the best going forward. Sending encouragement from Scotland. All the best mate 👍
That's a nice setting for your shot. Good on you with the 14 days. Everything gets better. I am approaching five months since the last and hopefully, LAST detox. I am glad you are doing well.
I'm a bit confused. Two days ago you were one week sober and now it's almost two weeks? I know Europe and Australia are on very different time tables but the way you're counting it's gonna be Christmas in a fortnight 😅
Why would you ever drink again? Because you’re having a bad day? Because you’re having a good day? Why would you ever go back to do something that you know makes everything worse for YOU? Do not make excuses for yourself or your behaviour ever again.
Your addiction was never that far along or that bad if you’re better after only 13 days so just be quiet and stop acting like you suffered years of addiction
Stop trying to do it on your own Mate go to Meatings go to Meatings go to Meatings you will go on one to be a little benders one of these days and there will be no job no house no kids no nothing. We need to stop trying to do it on our own willpower
Please stop preaching to the choir. We all know that there are AA meetings everywhere and I do realize that the groups help many people. However, there are many many people who have many years of sobriety without going too. The meetings actually caused me to relapse several times in the past. Everyone is unique and what works for one- may not work for everyone. That’s great that it’s helpful to you.❤

Stop counting days. Just focus on today. When you’re truly done. You’re done.
When it's a challenge it's hard not too
Can I make it 2000 days? I dunno. I just know I’m not drinking today

Always good to have a big break or stop all together if you can - can take a few goes
Did you have to go away for a while, like a miny holiday? I cant seem to break the habits in my home and ritual place of use.
13 Days 🙏🏻🌅☺️✨
Nice 👌
Quit drinking is one of, if not the most important things you can do in your life. Don't go back !!!
A nice lady friend would be great. You are doing so well x
Resting heart rate so low what type of training do you do? Extremely healthy heart rate. First video I’ve seen of yours assume a fitness back ground?

You are still early don’t get too proud.
Nice for you but i don't really care actually.
