It's a bit c h ass struggle. Trust me. I've tried a lot. Exercise, meditation... only thing I can do is eat sweets but then I can't lose weight. I'm already overweight
Keep it going. Im off probation now. I really feel like relapses are going to be more often... before i only drank on weekends to avoid detection. Now... well now no restrictions...😢😢 plus winter blues... god bless me
This thing called Life is a trip sometimes. Hang in there! We’re all very happy for and proud of you! I’m right behind you in my sobriety. Getting sober is Not about losing anything but it’s about Taking Our Life and Everything else Back!!! It’s ComeBack Time!!!💯🎈 Thumbs Up!👍 And Shared Out Everywhere!!💞
The mindset of a year ago is still there. It's all about benchmarks, measures, numbers and counting. This guy has not got a clue who he is ; he will continue to go round in circles. He needs a cataclysmic change in his ego.
You do have a problem with your mindset but it's not ' how far/fast can I run ' but how can I stop drinking before THAT gives me a heart attack. Sorry to be brutal but it's a killer disease. I know because I have had a liver transplant because of alcohol abuse. You don't want to go there at your age. Be brave and keep trying. Good luck
If you didn't go, what would you do? If you would think about drinking that is the very reason to go to the gym or a run. Change your body whatever age or physical ability, change your mental health. Keep busy.
You’re craving sugar from the alcohol withdrawal. They use to detox people with honey back in the day. Get a good organic honey and have a teaspoon of that when you have sugar cravings
Running isn’t going to solve your problems with Alcohol. I am glad you’re fitness has bounced back, but the gym and running alone is not a solution that works
Be careful going over board can give hearth attacks, whether young or old. pushing it too much is not good. I know this guy his father was healthy worked out 3 days a weak and died recently.
hope you are seeing a mental health professional. You don't seem to have healthy day to day coping mechanism or thought patterns, impulsivity and extreme sensation seeking is where your mind wanders to seek stimulation. Obviously alcoholism but wouldn't be surprised if you also have adhd
Maybe we all need to get checked out but many of us really don’t want to take drugs for life. Sometimes, it appears like that and it’s just part of early sobriety. I do think it’s a good idea if a person feels the need for help though. I’m in early sobriety too.
@ i mean thats an issue in assuming therapy = drugs. Theres much more to seeing a mental health professional than taking medication which is something you dont have to do.
@@jgreenhaus4That’s real good. I’ve been to a few in the past and all the ones that I saw always wanted to put me on antidepressants. I tried them but it really didn’t help me. I think that having a professional to talk with and work with would be great. I’m sorry that I immediately thought drugs.💞
You really are a nasty piece of work! You have absolutely no idea what it is like to need/want to get sober. Take your useless comments and sod off somewhere else
One week sober this week. I have spent 4 years quitting, relapsing, quitting and relapsing.
Keep at it 👏 remember where drink takes you and it never changes. Sobriety is full of new opportunities 👍
Wow you are doing so well please keep it up.
I'm at day 8 man. I'm fucking getting annoyed with finding things to keep my mind inspired enough. But I'm hanging on . Good luck man .Jay
Have a pint

You decide when you stop. There’s always a basement to the bottom. You may not recover from the next drink. Remember that. Get to AA. It works.

100 kilos is heavy. How tall are you? If you can still run and do. Get excited you have it all in front of you.

If you dont mind me asking, how much were you drinking a day before you quit?

He’s very excessive whether it’s drinking or exercise. He’s all or nothing.
@@darcyb6678I think most excessive drinkers are All or Nothing!!👍💯😊
