In these video tutorials, I normally use Bakels Premixes to save on time.
(Bakels is a bakery grade cake premix. Another great one is Allied Mills)

My aim here is to keep things simple and easy to replicate as I would rather have content on my channel that can be easily and successfully replicated at home. Hi Rosie, love your Cake! Just wondered how do you combat condensation on fondant and buttercream when you take the cake out of the fridge 😊
Hi hun, the trick is to work quickly with the cake. you can also store the cake in an airtight box while it is in the fridge and then let it rest at room temp for 10 mins before removing it from the box :) this will greatly reduce the condensation.

How do you get the left over powder off the fondant after the cake is covered ? :)
Hi hun, you can use a brush to brush it off or a steamer :) some also like to use an airbrush with water and lightly spray the cake. The powder absorbs the moisture and dissapears.

Thank you so much Maria :) Pricing would depend on the country as well, but in Australian Dollars the way the market is going in my area, I would recommend selling this cake for no less that $550. You would also find people who would sell this for $800+, so it depends really :)

Fondant covering is. Most times my cake tend to sweat later and it spoils my decorations. Can it be because of climate weather in my country (Nigeria - Africa)?
Hi hun, changes from cold temperature to warm temperatures quickly does cause more sweating to happen. If you had air conditioning then it wouldn't sweat as much :) You can also pop the cake in a box before you put it in the fridge. When you put the box at room temperature, do not remove the cake from the box for at least 10 minutes. It will sweat much less again :)

Please how thick can I make my fondant when using it to. Cover my cake. Because sometimes it breaks when I am covering it on my cake, most especially big cakes. So what I do now is panelling method of fondant covering. And the joining between the top and the wrapped usually show. Though I cover it with decoration sometimes but there are times I don't want to do decorations on it. So it will now show the joining! 😘
Every prettiest cakes includes so much buttercream and fondant. I can't eat them I hate buttercream and fondant so much... but at least I can look how pretty they are. I love fluffy cakes which are made for whipped cream, mascarpone and cream cheese with a fresh fruits or berries of course.
Thank you for your feedback hun. I know what you mean, the only downside to fresh cream cakes is they can't be decorated quite the same way unfortunately. They would need to be simple designs on short cakes unfortunately.
