- This is my favorite variation of the darce choke. We call it the Can Crusher Darce. But I like to slide down the arm and fall into a Marce Choke. One of the nastiest and tightest submissions in my game right now.

I must be a very bad JJ fighter but im really more in to side control attacks than going to mount and yes now ill add that one thanks a lot bro!
Awesome! I will try this variation out next week. Losing the arm when trying to rotate around my partner has often been a problem.

So If I understand properly, the difference between D'arce and Marce is the ending position. Darce would end up from top, while Marce from bottom, am I right? How would you define the can crusher then?

Yes that’s pretty much correct. The Marce changes the angle, more so than ends in bottom.but yeah it can be defined that way.
Can crusher is just what we call that setup.
