Hello I am just now getting in to kayak always done surf fishing but wow man nice catches I am going in vacation soon and try out the kayak what the location you are at
Thanks again for another awesome video Mark. Love getting back there with the reds. Question for you though, what kind of shoes are those? They look super comfortable. I've seen you in another video where you're on the jetties and walking on the rocks with ease without slipping. Just curious, maybe you can give us some insight on that. Tight lines brother!
Way to go Mark, glad to see your becoming an old salt in saltwater fishing the way you are protecting your body from the elements. Some nice catches by the way
Is there other marshes as big as that one? I'm learning my chops here at this masrh as well. It's been a blast catching a slam. Sometimes I think this place spoils me.
I've been having trouble finding the reds since Apr, been catching specs and flounder so I'm not complaining, but Id really like to pull a redfish into the kayak.
@@JaredsJourney21 I'll have to check that place out. Been wanting to go to Port O Connor and Matagorda area. Only been able to be in Galveston lately. I'll make it over there one day.
New subscriber here. Keep up the good work. Never been to the marsh. Would you be able to make it out there with a paddle drive? I see everyone in your vids have peddle drives. TIA
wonder how come you didnt film where you launched the kayak? :)

Great video Mark!! Highly pressured marsh for sure. I don’t fish it as often anymore. Good to see you back in there !!!! 💪🎣🐟💯🔥

Would be cool if you went down south and fished with Clean Fun Fishing for trout. Would be a good colab for the winter trout.
Is that greens lake in west bay?
It's changed since the 70s and 80s, still a great place for reds. Nice video
Thanks 🙏
Just wondering did you ever have your backyard paved and a deck installed? I think I remember you as a customer for a job I helped in lol

Marsh fishing in March with Mark the Marine ... 😂

Reds only hit for me when I got the live shrimp tied on there. Flounder have been plentiful on the lures which is also fun.
Tiger island cut in matagorda has kayak access
