Maybe, keychains are physical manafect of emotions, experiences or task to strengthen the Keyblade wielder's heart. The Oathkeeper is the promise Sora has with Kairi (KingdomHearts). Guardian Soul is obtain by defeating Hades (Kingdoms Hearts 2).
It always made me feel somewhat confused when it said keyblades choose their wielder , like if it was inside the human who else would they choose? It's also implied that riku was suppose to have soras keyblade but it went to sora instead. I assume they come from somewhere else based on this but idk where yet
@@thepotatoofheaven Keyblades choose based on the wielder’s strength of heart. The Kingdom key initially chose Sora because Riku’s became corrupted by darkness. In hollow bastion Riku was shown to be able to summon the Keyblade. When Sora stood determined to fight Riku even without the keyblade, it choose Sora to be it’s wielder going forward. When Riku grew strong enough to be a keyblade wielder, he gained his way to dawn keyblade. Also in Kh3, when Aqua fell to Darkness, Sora could temporarily wield the Master defender keyblade.
Funny thing about the "inhumanly acrobatic and durable" part, that's technically both canon and not canon. As this game takes heavily from modern FF games it's the same story there, too. Cloud and Sepheroth seemingly both have the power to glide through the air somehow under their own power and can slice buildings apart with their own swords, but in the game's reality if Cloud had to cross a huge gap or get to the top of a mountain he would either find a bridge or start climbing. He can't just fly, unless he's in a dramatic fight scene.
"A keyblade can be used to thwart any barrier, partition or blockade in existence." Sora's Mom: The condom broke. Sora's Dad: Well, at least they'll be a keyblade wielder.
The lore of the game is amazing but I’d like to add my opinion on bequeathing a key blade. Keyblade master is just a title that is granted to an apprentice keyblade wielder that’s gone through rigorous training and has taken the mark of mastery exemplifying the qualities of a master based on their attribute meaning either a wielder of the light or a wielder of darkness. Riku was the only one that was bequeathed a keyblade properly but I feel that opposite what you said about keyblades simply disappearing if someone one weak hearted touches it is incorrect. Keyblades follow the will of the master and only respond or can be summoned by them. There’s been multiple instances where someone who doesn’t own a keyblade have held one before but they only return to the wielder if they are called back or it’s simply just handed to them. The bequeathing there for is if someone determines that your heart is pure and strong enough to wield a keyblade and thus grants you the power to call your own keyblade. Sora’s keyblade was originally meant for Riku because he was determined to be a strong hearted person by Terra but riku fell to darkness of his own volition so the kingdom key (keyblade of the light realm) sought out the second strongest i.e sora.
it is shown to us that keyblades are forged in combat in both KH3 and birth by sleep where its explained that master xehanort was planning to forge the X blade by goading ventus into fighting his dark half so its safe to say that keyblades are commonly forged the same way BBS and KH3 are just the first time we are shown this
wayne julian I see where you coming from but I feel like in those instances it was more like those fights were to forge the X-blade specifically because in order to even have a chance at getting it you need powerful light and powerful darkness to clash which is why he split ventus in two and had him fight vanitas. And then later on have the guardians of light fight the dark seekers. Keyblades just choose the wielder but it’s not shown how they are forged or if there’s already a set number of them in the first place that choose different wielders. An example of that would be the kingdom Key that sora has. It was meant for Riku but he fell to darkness and then chose sora but the kingdom key already existed meaning that someone forged it already or it’s just the embodiment of light. Same with the dark realms keyblade that Mickey has. Where they come from is just too convoluted and confusing
Wait sora really is the MoM, he pulled riku's kingdom key out. It matches his friendship with mickey and his KH1 color scheme ,we've known Kingdom key is his, but Sora has the ability to do what MoM can do because he is his own mom
Keyblades are like magical wands that can cast bullshit spells unlock anything and they can be used as swords Soo in summery magical wand keys that can aperantly cut
Aqua did consider "bequeathing" to both Sora and Riku, she met them after Terra did. But she decided not to because Terra had already done so with Riku. Additionally, Aqua and Terra were trained by the same master and their master was trained by the same person as Xehanort, so presumably Keyblade masters can unlock the potential in multiple people. Yes.
Ive got a question in a theory about keyblades and the hearts if you added Yu-Gi-Oh couldn't the millennium key not be able to grant a keyblade even though in Yu-Gi-Oh its about souls and spirits couldnt the item still not unlock the heart to gain a keyblade?
Wait so you always just get new key chains? Maybe i just never noticed but i always thought you're getting the whole keyblade. That the keyblade itself is a complete thing and not just technically the chain.

it seems they are comparable ro the ravestonrs from the anime called rave master
I have always seen the Keyblades as something similar to the Zanpakuto from Bleach, especially in KH3.

this is awesome to learn about maybe you guys can do lore on the characters like Aqua?
Great to see you guys covering KH, I can't remember where my original comment was but this was amazing to watch.

Please do a metal gear solid video, or okami video.
Can keyblades be passed down more than once? As in, could Terra have given both Sora and Riku a key blade?

Only person alive that touched Aqua keyblade is young Kairi. But Riku gave Kairi hers so in theory Kairi should be able to dual wield keyblades.
@@DnVFMVsKairi's Keyblade wasn't forged like the Kingdom Key and Way to Dawn were, it was taken from somewhere else (probably the Graveyard)
