My personal favorite from that game is Skull Noise. Not only is it based on one of my favorite games of all time, but it looks utterly badass. Definitely my favorite design when it comes to the teeth and blade.
Yeah, the X-blade is pretty ridiculous for me too, since the Kingdom Key colors combined with the pale green and yellow of the blade make for a very light-oriented design. I think it would have been better to have a double-sided keyblade instead, with one side depicting light and one side depicting darkness, complete with teeth for each. And no, I'm not talking about making it double-bladed like Darth Maul's lightsaber.
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. One thing I wish you got to see yourself that sadly isn't visible in images (or at least the impression doesn't come off as well) is the glow effects of No Name (YMX reward) and Royal Radiance. Neither KH1 or 2 had something that quite literally glowed at all times, so at the time, it was awe inspiring. I actually think it still is quite a cool visual quirk, the only other keyblades I can think that have the same glow effect are DDD's Dual Disc and Unbound. Mysterious Figure and Mirage Arena are definitely a massive commitment to finish though, so I don't really blame you for not wanting to get the footage yourself for them at least.
one of my big issues with the chiblade is that it treats the kingdom key as _the_ basic keyblade form, when the rest of the series ... doesn't? like, i'm fine with the latter part. the kingdom key's crown teeth is _super_ sora-y and the hidden mickey links to his connection with the disney characters, so it makes sense for it to just be his equivalent of way to dawn or earthshaker or etc.. and, indeed, the only people who also pull out a kingdom key or a variant on it are those with a connection to sora - the moment you break away from his story, the closest thing to a kingdom key you see is starlight, which sheds the more sora-specific details while maintaining the overall basal keyblade desigh. hell, the dark road keyblade takes this a step further, looking like a starlight part of the way into being modified into a master's defender - suggesting that xehanort and eraqus _did_ likely start with starlight and had it modified under odin's tutelage, or something along those lines but then the chiblade drops two kingdom keys on you and expects you to look at the two kingdom keys and _not_ question why they're there. okay. ( i mean strictly speaking, the kingdom key is probably actually _riku's_ basic keyblade, considering that whole twist from kh1, but i think it's safe to say that sora's fully claimed it as his own and that fits in with his whole "drawing power from his friends" shtick anyway. and no, the kingdom key isn't _the_ "keyblade of light" as far as we know, but rather just _a_ keyblade of light like 99% of all keyblades in the series. given that mickey found the kingdom key d in the parts of destiny island that were lost in to the realm of darkness, i think it's just a dark reflection of the kingdom key either due to the circumstances of when it manifested, or just because it isn't all that abnormal for a keyblade of light to have a counterpart from the realm of darkness. that kind of duality _is_ a major theme to the series, after all )
I'm pretty sure the Kingdom Key has definitely a bigger importance that the text is leading us to believe, it has some greater significance that we aren't yet aware of besides it's inclusion in the xblade, as for example it is the only key that has a counterpart of darkness. In general, the Kingdom Keys almost seem to be THE keys that embody the will of the two realms or something. Both lying on the two sides of destiny islands waiting for someone to pick them up, with the Kingdom Key choosing Riku once he got the inheritance done from terra. Of course, that's not even counting the fact the Kingdom Keys and the xblade are both based on the emblem of the papacy representing the Keys of the kingdom of heaven. That was why those keys closed the KH white door in Kh1, and that is why there are 2 KK in the xblade that controls KH itself.
Real talk it should have been 1 kingdom key and 1 kingdom key D to represent the duality between the two keys that combine to form the true key to kingdom hearts
Not gonna lie, I burst out laughing when I saw Vanitas casually hold that massive thing as if it were a normal weapon. I then died to his third phase many, many times because I didn't understand what was happening.
Man, I wonder if there are fans talented enough to redesign some of these for videos. I think a lot of keyblades would benefit from having an asymmetrical handle. From a logistical perspective, you would be able to actually wield it without hurting your wrist, which would translate into better animations in-game. I don't think that it would particularly ruin the "key" aesthetic, either, especially on some of the more outlandish designs.
15:43-Here’s my idea of how the X-Blade should look, have both the Oath Keeper and Oblivion key blades make up the design of the X-Blade. Think about it, the Oath Keeper is the key blade of light and the Oblivion is the key blade of darkness so it makes perfect sense to have a powerful weapon formed from both Keyblades of light and darkness.
Stroke of Midnight’s teeth seems to reflect it’s namesake the most, as the colors seem to be either the night sky or the moonlight and the twelve points being the twelve hours on most clocks. The X-blade. Well, in it’s defense, Kingdom Hearts *IS* light, so I guess we should’ve expected that the key to KH would be light-based in design as well.
I occasionally design fan-made keyblades when I'm bored and want to draw something, and no matter how bad they look I always know they look better than some of the Disney world keyblades
There should be at least three more videos: one for DDD, one for Days and one for Chi/Unchained/Union X, Dark Road and miscellaneous (like Zero/One from re:coded).
Thank you for calling out the god-awful design of the x-blade. Had it just based its design on the Ultima-style sword part, maybe with more of a gradient from gold to blue, it would have given it a more cosmic look that would have fit its significance in the lore much better.
I honestly love the Sweetstack keyblade because of how clever the design is, it’s ice cream but the fruit slices are the teeth, the handle has an ice cream scooper, the ice cream scoops are different flavors. I know people probably have PTSD because of the mini-game associated with it, but it’s still a fun keyblade in my opinion. It’s just fun to look at. I also love Pixie Petal, the bell flowers as the teeth are so pretty, and the pop of red from the keychain is very attractive. The whole keyblade is obviously Tinkerbell inspired, but it’s not cartoon-y, it’s just a lovely keyblade. The cyber looking No Name’s colors are really nice, but I think the colors should’ve been put in different spots on the blade. The cyan on the middle of the glade probably could’ve been on the teeth, and the darker blue on the actual middle of the blade. The handle is nice as it is though. I like No Name of BBS better than the iterations afterwards in other titles, unfortunately. Royal Radiance could be a really nice one for me, but the red and yellow combo of the guard is… ketchup and mustard. Should’ve been either red and pink (like the pink on the blade), or yellow and pink. Red and yellow when they’re both the primary color versions always look like ketchup and mustard. Do pastels or dark versions of the colors, or don’t do it at all. Otherwise, I would love this keyblade, it’s very Disney Princess. The black-and-white No Name is the best No Name, end of story. I really like the x-Blade’s design, but I do agree that it’s a bit wonky. I think what messes it up is the colors, and it’s a bit too simple as well, and it’s weird that the keychain and the actual blade look so similar. The Ultima Weapon looking parts are great, but maybe should’ve had some glow or sparkle to it. I think the Kingdom Key part could’ve been fine if it were re-colored, and the guard should’ve been a bit different. Maybe make the Kingdom Key part be more of a nod to the keyblade, rather than just two versions of it stacked together.
Wayward wind is still my favorite keyblade use wise, like for once someone decided practicality with their fighting style goes before the thick as hell gaurd, which would get in the way so often if you so much as attempted to two hand the thing or switch how you point the teeth. It is such a design flaw that I tend to like my gaurd either so ridiculous it ends up being silly or like this, where there's basically only one side.
the design of the ultima weapon in each kh game is supposedly derivative of the x-blade which is why they are essentially swords for the blade with those wing? bits that are on the blade itself. the color of the wing bits are all different based on how it's forged I guess, not certain on that part
I totally agree. The X-blade has a terrible design. I don't care about its so called deep X themes or whatever, it just looks bad. It needs a total redesign from the ground up.
I remember the first time I got to the end of BBS and seeing the X-blade and it was one of those moments where I was just like (...is...is that it? that is the worst looking keyblade I've ever seen!!) And lost memory and void gear are my two favorite keyblade's out the whole series.
Lost memory, Ends of the Earth, Rainfell, Brightcrest, Master's Defender, Young Xehanort's Keyblade, Void Gear, Royal Radiance, and No Name. This game hit it out of the park with the non-Disney keyblade designs.
I am such a huge fan of Wayward Wind, from the fact that the Keyblade is shaped to compliment Ventus' backhanded fighting style, and the colirs are just very appealing to me. Black with trims of a metallic gold/bronze just please my eyes so much! And the wing shape for the teeth are such a neat aspect, since the element Ventus seems to follow is wind! Just an amazing design in my personal opinion, and my favorite Keyblade in Kingdom Hearts!
100% agree on the X-Blade. I think what would’ve been a good idea would’ve been to start with a single hand guard, split in color scheme between Kingdom Key and Kingdom Key D; then have the shaft and blade be both KK and KKD back to back (so their teeth point away from each other like the spikes on Terra’s). You can even still have the actual sword blade extending from the teeth, if you want. It’d still end up being pretty long, but at least it’d be something you could believably use.
I'm a cat person myself and BBS is my favorite game in the series, I didn't even know that Royal Radiance had a 2x crit that's amazing I always just used no name!
A cool detail about wayward wind that I just noticed, half of the handle, the dark gold part, seems to look like the kingdom key, maybe demonstrating ven and sora's link
Choas ripper is by far the coolest looking dark keyblade to me. every time I lucid dream I would always try to conjure this keyblade. Never could tho the keyblades I draw are either decisive pumpkin or dark gnaw and I’m not rly a fan of either of them.
This might be because i'm so used to playing BBS Final Mix using KeyToTruth's translation but personally i prefer calling Royal Radiance Crown Unlimit and it's special effect is a double edged sword most of the time it's handy but there are times people don't want to go into a command style or finisher
The way I rationalized the look of the teeth of Stroke of Midnight was it looks a lot like a 2D model of a portal, the ones used so heavily first in DDD, which as a game has a heavy association with time. And it just makes sense to me that a Keyblade based on a Cinderella world would have at least a passing reference to clocks and “time”.
I like how Earthshaker looks like it has two “E’s” for the teeth: one more pronounced and a lesser one like the “E’s” in the name. And with Ends of the Earth, both “E’s” are similarly pronounced like the “E’s” in “Ends” and “Earth.” Just a random thought. Edit: Ends of the Earth’s teeth also appear like a reflection over water.
Something I didn't like about a lot of the keyblames that are given to Terra, Ventus, and Aqua was that those keybales were focused more on magic than strength. They didn't leave you with much options for a strength set up, especially for Terra.
Another comparison list between Japanese and English keyblades/keychains names: - Earthshaker - Gaia Bane -> Ends of the Earth - Chaos Reaper -> Chaos Ripper - Dark Biter -> Darkgnaw - Fresh Breeze (its French name Fraiche Brise also works) -> Wayward Wind - Lost Memory - Rascal Flame -> Frolic Flame - Rainfall -> Rainfell - Rainstorm -> Stormfall - Destiny Place -> Destiny's Embrace - Brightcrest - Master Keeper -> Master's Defender - Crystal Works -> Stroke of Midnight - Rock Splendor -> Treasure Trove - Fairy Star -> Fairy Stars - Winning Medallion -> Victory Lane - Delicious Tower -> Sweetstack - Mark of Hero -> Mark of a Hero - Hyperdrive - Pixie Charm -> Pixie Petal - Void Gear - No Name - Ultima Weapon - Crown Unlimit -> Royal Radiance
I enjoy these keyblade videos! Thanks for another fun one. I still think Vanitas' keyblade is super cool. I do mostly agree with your sentiment there on the X-Blade. Stay well out there everybody, and God bless you friends! :)
If the X-blade's base resembled the pale green and gold blade portion more it would look far more aesthetically pleasing and visually consistent. It would be like an alternate sharper take on the ultima weapon, but I think the color scheme should have a silver and gold gradient instead of the green.
Honestly? I don't like the X-Blade in BBS, but I love it in KH3. It's the glowing of the green/yellow part and the white speckling on said part, as well as the better graphics of KH3 in general, that sell me on it. The X-Blade in BBS feels more like some lazy attempt at trying to create a "precursor keyblade that came before all others," which No Name does already but better. It feels like an overdesigned toy built in the shape of a keyblade, with nothing setting it apart aside from goofy design details like "green and yellow plastic blob wings" and "two Kingdom Keys shoddily workshopped together into a vague X shape." The Kingdom Key has zero connection to Birth By Sleep outside of a very young Sora who doesn't even have it yet showing up in one or two cutscenes, so overall, the X-Blade's design even outside those toy-ish elements feels like a non sequitur. (Even Mickey doesn't have the Kingdom Key D yet, instead wielding the Star Seeker.) BBS's X-Blade would have been far better, given exactly where it came from, to be a mixture of Ventus's and Vanitas's keyblades, perhaps with the silver, blue and gold of the Birth By Sleep logo worked into the design, or potentially a mixture of Ventus's keyblade and the Unversed emblem and aesthetic. These would have been far, far better. Inversely, the X-Blade in KH3, I feel, would only be made better if one of the Kingdom Keys (both on the keyblade itself and on the keychain) were swapped with a Kingdom Key D. Sora is front and center throughout the entirety of KH3, and Mickey, via the Star Cluster, still technically wields the Kingdom Key D in some sense, with both taking role in the battle of the seven lights and thirteen darknesses. True, it might be "more appropriate" to make the X-Blade yielded by this battle a mixture of all thirteen Seekers' weapons and all seven Guardians' weapons, but that would be far too overdesigned to really work with. Instead, with just that tiny change and maybe a little more to accommodate it (maybe making the green and gold filigree wrapped, more like the various Ultima keyblades, and having purple and red to match the Kingdom Key D, contrasting green and yellow for the Kingdom Key?) But as it stands, the X-Blade in KH3, with the glowing colored filigree with glowing white speckles on it, feels... "similar" to the Ultima keyblade from the same game. It's this similarity to KH3 Ultima that immediately turns the toyish "plastic" filigree of BBS's X-Blade into something that feels much more dangerous and powerful on 3's X-Blade. The actual metallic sheen of the crossed Kingdom Keys contrasts well against many of the more lighthearted and almost toy-ish designs that Sora runs around with from the various Disney worlds far better, as opposed to BBS's X-Blade feeling the most "Disney-ish" of any non-Disney-centric keyblade. Sora's front-and-center involvement with the forging of the KH3 X-Blade, I'd argue more than anyone else save for Xehanort himself (only if you count all thirteen Seekers as Xehanort) makes it feel much more natural that the Kingdom Key is featured so heavily in its design. It's important to remember this: at least from what we know right now, the Master of Masters was the brain behind the original keyblades, which were imperfect replicas of the X-Blade, and the X-Blade was shattered during the original Keyblade War. _Xehanort isn't recreating the original X-Blade (unless I'm horribly mistaken in my understanding of the lore,) he's creating his own X-Blade by bringing together seven capital-L Lights and thirteen capital-D Darknesses, so the X-Blade that we see in KH3, and admittedly in BBS as well, may not look exactly like (or even remotely like) the original, true X-Blade._ So while BBS's Kingdom Key heavy design feels like a non sequitur, KH3's Kingdom Key heavy design feels like it perfectly matches the idea of Xehanort's X-Blade being as much of an imperfect replica of the power that went into forging it as keyblades as a whole are imperfect replicas of the original X-Blade in turn. This all lends to the feeling that the KH3 X-Blade, which does look so much better than the BBS X-Blade due to graphical enhancements between consoles alone, also looks better because its "chimeric abomination of a keyblade hackjobbed together from a bunch of different hearts rather than the actual pieces of the true X-Blade" design actually fits it much more naturally in KH3, rather than it just being a convoluted mess in BBS. TL;DR: X-Blade looks like a keyblade abomination hack-jobbed together; the circumstances behind its creation in BBS make it look out of place there but the circumstances behind its creation in KH3 make it look far more fitting, and "abomination of overdesigned and extravagant power" fits the M.O. Xehanort would be going for since both the artificial X-Blade of BBS and artificial X-Blade of KH3 might not look even remotely like the true X-Blade, since all keyblades are imperfect replicas of the original natural/true X-Blade and look at just how different they all are from each-other, and the artificial X-Blades themselves are likely made from a similar process to what was used to make regular keyblades, if spruced and spiced up a bit more. Thoughts, anyone?
Time to go smack some lampposts in Disney Town to see the hit effects, lol. I am not really a fan of Hyperdrive. The Keyblade is a little cluttered by references to the world, and as a result it doesn’t feel much like a weapon. The green plasma teeth in particular look really bad to me. I like Wayward Wind, but my opinion has soured on it a little after watching another Keyblade design video. The shape and proportions are a little off for a weapon meant to be wielded in reverse. I don’t dislike every Disney Keyblade though. I think the Pixie Petal builds off of and improves upon the design of the Fairy Harp. All of the Kingdom Hearts original characters have great Keyblades too. I really like how the Master's Defender has a similar shape to the Kingdom Key, it almost looks like an upgrade. Darkgnaw gets an upgrade in Union Χ that I think is cool. And Lost Memory is really awesome with the wing and broken heart motifs.
I hated the X-blade from the moment I saw it and thought it would never come back in KH3 after Birth by Sleep. It's so unoriginal and doesn't look functional if it were real. The handguard forming a handle is just stupid looking.
I think, overall, BBS has my favorite set of keyblades. Maybe it was because of the limitations of the PSP but not many suffer from being too overdesigned. I also really like that they managed to make the new character's keyblades iconic. I especially like Wayward Wind only because it's the only keyblade that favors a unique fighting style (unique for Kingdom Hearts, at least). Wish we got more of that but I guess when all your weapons have to be key based, you are kinda limited when it comes to fighting styles. Oh, and the X-blade is an atrocity. It's so ugly and tacky and overdesigned and it has too many colors and the way Vanitas-Ventus/ Xehanort hold it makes me wanna die. I don't care if it's the most powerful weapon ever, I wouldn't be caught dead wielding that ugly thing if it was available.
7:11, while not the right coloring, the teeth are based on the Fairy Godmother's magic, which looks like sparkling snowflakes, while spacing the points out like the clocktower's face.
Can't wait until the Dream Drop Distance keyblades video comes out! Speaking of Disney Town, I'm glad we won't be able to get Euro Disney Town in a KH game, lol It's a shame we don't get a keyblade from Zack in this game, cuz Crisis Core is also on the PSP and has the same crew behind it. Birth By Sleep kinda counts as the only KH game that doesn't include a Final Fantasy themed keyblade...
Honestly, my favorite keyblade out of these is Brightcrest and Ends of the Earth. Both representing Aqua and Terra perfectly not only in their strengths, but to best suit their fighting styles. Aqua is elegant and swift, but prefers her magic over close combat if she doesn’t need to worry about conserving her magic. Terra on the other hand is all about brute force and rarely wants to use magic unless it’s needed. One is like water, while the other is a mountain. The team did great designing these two keyblades. I also agree Eragus had getting his ass kicked by Terra coming, I mean he was about to attack Ventus, planning on killing him to prevent Xehanort’s plans instead of protecting him alongside his eldest students! Terra had every right to protect Ven by fighting his teacher who turned his wrath on him for using darkness to fight Eragus. Not like he has a choice given he needs all his strength to protect Ven from someone WAY more experienced and stronger in the ways of light than Terra himself is. It’s all just a tragic situation that could have deescalated if Eragus only took a second to calm down and think, rather than go light nazi on Terra like he had or better yet, NOT try to attack Ventus in the first place!
I really like your roasts on Eraqus, I agree with a lot of your poinsts on the designs tho honestly Sweetstack is my favorite gag keyblade other than that Terra has my favorite keyblades in this game although I don't like Darkgnaw, I wish they didn't get the same themed keyblades from each world cause Terra has no reason to get the fairy stars. I like how in DDD Sora and Riku get different keyblades in Pranksters Paradise cause they explored completely different areas tho I find the monstro theme really gross
xBlade really is one of the most poorly designed weapons in the series, it looks like someone asked their 7 year old to make a cooler Keyblade and then cleaned up some but not all of the scribbles
i'm a cat person and I tend to like Aqua's version of most of these, design wise I would say my favorite in this game is the treasure trove, as it looks good no matter who is wielding it
I like how Stormfall is close to a rapier in terms of sword basis. Really goes well with her elegant fighting style.
I also just realized: The trophy on Mark of a Hero is flexing like Herc

The BBS trio’s default keyblades have always been my favorite in terms of design. Never switched them out during my playthroughs of BBS
Putting in a vote for a tier list exclusively containing Olympus Keyblades
15:43-Here’s my idea of how the X-Blade should look, have both the Oath Keeper and Oblivion key blades make up the design of the X-Blade. Think about it, the Oath Keeper is the key blade of light and the Oblivion is the key blade of darkness so it makes perfect sense to have a powerful weapon formed from both Keyblades of light and darkness.
Sure, the x-Blade might be all-powerful or whatever, but you could not _force_ me to hold a weapon with a _square handle_ no matter how hard you tried
On treasure trove theres 7 crystals on the guard like you mentioned, but theres 6 other crystals too, making a total of 13, because of course there is
I love the close up of the charms since I could rarely ever find good images of them in I the past
ventus’ keyblade stance will always be my favorite. It’s so unique.
X-blade is my favorite weapon, I love how it looks like a sword with Wings.
The X blade is really embarrassing. Really unfortunate given that BBS did a decent job with the rest of the original keyblades
Honestly wish the Mirage Split/Nightmare's End keyblade was the X-Blade design instead. The current design looks like some 13 year old's deviant art.
Thank you for calling out the god-awful design of the x-blade. Had it just based its design on the Ultima-style sword part, maybe with more of a gradient from gold to blue, it would have given it a more cosmic look that would have fit its significance in the lore much better.
Putting Aqua on a thumbnail is always smart 👌
The brightcrest is one of my favourites. I also love that the waves that make up the handle also form that classic KH heart shape
The way I see the x-blade is 2 kingdom keys crossed with each other with a blade charge command style coming out from the middle
the design of the ultima weapon in each kh game is supposedly derivative of the x-blade which is why they are essentially swords for the blade with those wing? bits that are on the blade itself. the color of the wing bits are all different based on how it's forged I guess, not certain on that part
I totally agree. The X-blade has a terrible design. I don't care about its so called deep X themes or whatever, it just looks bad. It needs a total redesign from the ground up.
I remember the first time I got to the end of BBS and seeing the X-blade and it was one of those moments where I was just like (...is...is that it? that is the worst looking keyblade I've ever seen!!)
And lost memory and void gear are my two favorite keyblade's out the whole series.
I love the design of X-blade, it looks soo legendary and different from all the keyblades (also I’m a Kingdom key fan)
10:03
Ok that caught me off guard 🤣
that "green plasma" for Hyperdrive's teeth is actually the ship's warp/hyperdrive activating, hence the name of the keyblade
I wish the games would pull a "not the real thing" twist for the X-blade like they did with Kingdom Hearts a couple times
Something else about Lost Memory is that it looks very similar in base design to the Keyblade of Heart from KH1.
16:31 THANK YOU. I've always thought this
dogs and cats are both great, and excel in different ways of making you happy
Bro I love the x-blade 😭
You bashing my boy
(Also: I love both cats and dogs, I have both at home)
A cool detail about wayward wind that I just noticed, half of the handle, the dark gold part, seems to look like the kingdom key, maybe demonstrating ven and sora's link
Is the a very small chance that you also do the 358/2 days keyblades?
Choas ripper is by far the coolest looking dark keyblade to me. every time I lucid dream I would always try to conjure this keyblade. Never could tho the keyblades I draw are either decisive pumpkin or dark gnaw and I’m not rly a fan of either of them.
Could the Lost Memory Keyblade be a subtle hint at Ventus' past in Union X?
I think pixie petal is supposed to resemble the cure spell with the bell flowers
7:50 there are 13 gems overall
This might be because i'm so used to playing BBS Final Mix using KeyToTruth's translation but personally i prefer calling Royal Radiance Crown Unlimit and it's special effect is a double edged sword most of the time it's handy but there are times people don't want to go into a command style or finisher
In my opinion bbs keyblade are the best than other kh series keyblades
Rainfell is my favorite keyblade in the series, it's a simple but great design.
Also dogs are superior in every way to cats.
cap
Something I didn't like about a lot of the keyblames that are given to Terra, Ventus, and Aqua was that those keybales were focused more on magic than strength. They didn't leave you with much options for a strength set up, especially for Terra.
This video reminded me that i cared so little for BBS, i didnt even bother swapping keyblades in all 3 playthroughs.
The teeth of Stormfall are also similar to the "E" on Master Defender. I think it's a mix between Master Defender and her first keyblade
4:48 never even notice the guard deosnt touch the blade until u said it
I didnt think anyone else had the same sentiments with Master Xehanorts Mcguffin, absolutely agreed there.
Man. I wanted to check how the Wayward Wind effects looked like.
Fun fact the x-blade has thirteen "prones" or stingy appendages. 6 on each side and then the one in the middle acting as a blade
im a cat person, dogs barks tend to be too loud for me and my cousin's dog bited me in the ankle

For some reason on treasure trove the mine cart always looked like an owl’s face to me
I enjoy these keyblade videos!
Pretty sure the 7 gems on Treasure Trove are for the 7 dwarves lmao
Sometimes the funny Kingdom Hearts number makes me forget Disney is a thing
@@NovayonKH Considering how relevant Disney is to the modern Kingdom Hearts games, I don't blame you
@@NovayonKH holy shit i _genuinely_ thought you were just doing a bit
incredible
Instead, with just that tiny change and maybe a little more to accommodate it (maybe making the green and gold filigree wrapped, more like the various Ultima keyblades, and having purple and red to match the Kingdom Key D, contrasting green and yellow for the Kingdom Key?)
But as it stands, the X-Blade in KH3, with the glowing colored filigree with glowing white speckles on it, feels...
Honestly, I much prefer the X-Blade in it's incomplete state. It just looks... better? Much cooler than the complete version at least.
That seven dwarfs slayed me I’m on the ground bleeding
Man I love the vast majority of the non-world based key blades in bbs so much
Time to go smack some lampposts in Disney Town to see the hit effects, lol.
I do love when my gaming video turns into a math one. It's quite possibly the best outcome.
It’d be cool if Terra and Ventus had their own Wayfinder Keyblades like Brightcrest
That Globglobgobgobgabgalab bit made me laugh
I hated the X-blade from the moment I saw it and thought it would never come back in KH3 after Birth by Sleep. It's so unoriginal and doesn't look functional if it were real. The handguard forming a handle is just stupid looking.
We need BBS type Keyblades in the next KH game or make the appearance of the Keyblade change as you level it up
I think, overall, BBS has my favorite set of keyblades.
Damn I love Keyblade Time with Novayon(tm)
Can't wait until the Dream Drop Distance keyblades video comes out! Speaking of Disney Town, I'm glad we won't be able to get Euro Disney Town in a KH game, lol
It's a shame we don't get a keyblade from Zack in this game, cuz Crisis Core is also on the PSP and has the same crew behind it.
Yessss. I've been waiting for this
The X-blade I think is supposed to be a mix of ultimate weapon and kingdom key.
I like how in DDD Sora and Riku get different keyblades in Pranksters Paradise cause they explored completely different areas tho I find the monstro theme really gross
when I hear people criticize a Keyblade design I like, I don't feel angry at them for criticizing it, I feel guilty for liking it
Darkgnaw & Void gear are so sick!!!!
Kh re:coded/union x keyblade examine video next!
Stormfall also looks like masters defender because aqua had the mark of mastery
Wait isn't hyperdrive actually longer on Terra like it has an extra loop on it?
I confused why the x blade look more like a sword than a keyblade and why the kingdom key d isn't on the design
What about the unused light seeker keyblade for Ventus? Lol 😂 I hope you do a DDD keyblade video now 😁
While still ridiculous, I think the χ-blade makes a little more sense if you understand the symbolism involving the Keys to Heaven in Christianity
Man
I still haven't platinum this game cuz that ice cream mini game is so f ING hard
So the X-Blade... I don't mind the design and I respect the awe of it all... But it looks like a nightmare to try and hold...
xBlade really is one of the most poorly designed weapons in the series, it looks like someone asked their 7 year old to make a cooler Keyblade and then cleaned up some but not all of the scribbles
So what does Magic do in Birth by sleep? Since every spell recharges individually what does Magic effect?
I think it just increases the damage of magic commands.
finally, the video I've waited for is here 🙂
Upset the man didn't comment on the flexing trophy for Mark of a Hero
i'm a cat person and I tend to like Aqua's version of most of these, design wise I would say my favorite in this game is the treasure trove, as it looks good no matter who is wielding it
Might be my favorite ultima weapon there. Shame Ive never used it XD
Something tells me that he likes this game c:
