For touching up the anodized aluminum frame Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black Touch Up does wonders. Important to follow the prep guidelines. Very simple application.
“G.F.” is written on the right side: it means “Guardia di Finanza”, the Italian custom police, so not Carabinieri nor State Police. Very good catch, it really looks brand new 👍🏻
GF is the equivalent of Border Patrol here in the States and yes they are a branch of the militarized police in Italy. But they are not attached to the Dept of Defense but the the Dept or Ministry of Finance or Treasury here in the States . These days they mainly deal with anti drugs anti contraband and the illegals flooding Europe.
That is a Italian police “guardia di finanzia” finance police that’s the gf marks also the Y Y in the serial number matches that’s what beretta told me . Found it mint for 340
I have one of these (an 85BB). I own and have shot quite a number of different pistols in my life including the almighty Glock. But I must say, these 80 series Berettas are just so sweet.
Almighty Glock? What so great about it? Maybe in the brains of the brainwashed gun gurus wanna be. Ask the gun dealers what’s the pistol that they have in quantities for resale from their clients . Glocks! Because a lot of people bought them just because their neighbor or brother in law have one. And then they realize that they don’t like it or it’s not what they thought it would be…Ask them !
Solid choice for edc. DA/SA trigger adds to the safety factor. 8 rounds is plenty for 99% of the self defense shootings. The weight of the firearm lends itself to proper shot placement.
@@jean-claudeseagal7822 I didn't say it. The FBI did based on self defense shoots. Almost all were resolved in 5 or less rounds. We aren't talking what could happen but what is likely to happen. Lucky Gunner did a whole video on these numbers.
I actually just bought one from my local PSA store last week. It was the the 84BB,not the 85 though. It was the last one they had in stock at the store,It was in very good condition, some minor rust but very little wear.
@@hondaatcfreak420 you pay for the guarantee of quality, only a dumbass would sell a mint condition one on the private market for anywhere near 400. Some of them go for over 1200 lol

I Have the exact same 85BB . Mine is stamped from the Italian Finance ( their IRS , I guess) and I paid $399 too. It is incredible shape
Nice finish on that pistol for a surplus gun! Just ordered one, hope the bluing on mine is half that nice.
Absolutely phenomenal condition. You got lucky! Congrats
I have an 85bb and it shoots great 👍. I bought mine from DK Firearms in Bowling Green Va. It has become my CCW.

Who are you to say 8 rounds is enough? Can you predict the future?

Dang, I could of got one of those. I wasn't looking on the web for surplus guns leading up to covid because I was trying to save money.
Question does your mags have pitting on side walls I cant tell if the rust has been scrubbed off but thats my guess not nice and smooth like my other.
Where can you buy one of these surplus guns?
They come in and out of stock keep an eye out around the typical milsurp sellers online
Sweet!
Cuando puedo puedo ver mi pistola Pietro Beretta 380 la k no tiene seguro 😞
Nice gun!
My guy charges 15 for the transfer and 5 for the background check.
That is a guy you want to continue do business with.
