    I've got one of these (in stainless) and a Beretta 84F. I'm not sure which I like better, but there might be a slight favor towards the Beretta, but only because it's a blue/wood gun and has a decocker. As for shooting, they're pretty much about even. The Tisas is my EDC gun though. I know a lot of people po-po this size gun....too big for a 380...you can get a 9mm that size... (Psssfffftttt) Who cares? I like the gun, I shoot it fairly well, and as you said, the 380 smoking out of that 4" ish barrel is nothing to sneeze at. Oh...just remembered. Mags for the Beretta work just fine in the Tisas.

    The Turks are just masterfully produce value arms with quality punching above their pricepoint. I saw a Girsan 92 clone... I was amazed. I've had Caniks, the Tanfoglio and CZ75 clones... and they were great.... but I expected like some Braztech Taurus 92 ... and what I saw and held was basically a matte Beretta, if not in some ways even better. They just keep on impressing. 😆 Lol, love the vertical grip cuts, not the horizontal ones.

    • @WitchyWagonReal
      @WitchyWagonReal 4 роки тому

      * This is because, I feel that with my medium hand size, the pistol tends to rotate (like a turret) on a rudder axis during sweat slipping or recoil-- not much, but enough to cause slight degrees of skew with misaligned sights at a longer distance-- yet very rarely does one's grip slide up and down on a firearm, even with substantial recoil and muzzle lift. I felt it but was not sure, and so one day spent a day examining just this phenomenon... alas, it's a subjective sample size of One. 😆

    Saw one of these at my local shop today in the silver/grey finish. Other than it being .380 the main issue I had with it was the ungodly recoil spring heft. It made racking the slide without front serrations a chore at best and for ANYONE with weaker hands virtually impossible.

    • @victorboucher675
      @victorboucher675 4 роки тому

      Yep, that is a stiff spring ...gotta Beretta 950(22), Beretta 81(32), Colt 1908 Type4 (380), and a Ruger P95. Blow backs are stiff, the P95 is so much easier, I would say the tipping barrel for blow backs, or the delay dropping barrel would be the way to go. Or - Like Duh, snubbie 38 always works.

    A squib load is a cartridge that was manufactured badly. It is a cartridge that the gunpowder charge was not put in the cartridge. But, the primer was still placed there. So, when the cartridge is fired the primer goes bang, but not the gunpowder. This can result in the bullet going part ways down the barrel then getting stuck.

    I just picked mine up after ordering online. Unfortunately our local gun shops have almost no firearms actually in stock so you have to about go into an online purchase "blind" without being able to get physical with your purchase... Point being I regret the purchase already. It is nearly impossible to rack the slide or activate slide release. I have quite a few different handguns, different calibers, sizes, manufacturers - even surplus from the 50's and not one of them have I had this much trouble. I just spent 5 minutes and had to use 2 hands to engage the slide release. I guess I could just load it up once and throw in the car but I know I certainly wont be taking it to the range. My husband is pretty strong and does a lot of forearm work in the gym. Out of the guys in our gym, he is the only one who can close The Captains of Crush 2.5 gripper (237.5 lbs.). He closes it for 5-6 reps with his right hand and 4-5 reps with his left hand for 3-4 sets. There are guys in the gym with forearms the size of bowling bowls who can't close it at all. If he says this recoil spring is ridiculously stiff, then it is. 😛 Other than that, it's a great handgun.
