Eric Clapton is so naturally talented. Just look how effortlessly he plays the guitar and sings! I love his songs Tears in Heaven, River of Tears and Old Love. Thanks for the reaction!
Enjoy your Clapton journey, thru the multiple bands that he has been in, his solo work, and his collaborations with other artists. This may take awhile 😉
And this is the quickest play you will ever hear from this monster of guitar. The great "Slowhand" !! You know there are many videos out there with Eric playing together with Marc Knopfler. I guess this is too tempty for you 😊
If you haven't already done so, have a listen to Cream (which included Eric Clapton) - tracks such as Crossroads, White Room, Badge etc - outstanding music
Each guitar has it's own sou d , as far as gibons, fenders ,Marshall's, rickenbacker and others..glow body, solid body, number of pickups on the guitar type of strings.etc......
A interesting fact about Clapton was he said He tried to bend stings like Jeff Beck but never could master Becks technique, I love Clapton's music as much as I appreciate his honesty, there will never be another Jeff Beck or Eric Clapton when he goes on to preform in Gods band. Rest in Peace Jeff your missed by all of your fans.
I've always said that everyone begins any art by trying to imitate someone they admire. If they are unlucky, with hard work they can basically produce an exact copy of the artist who influences them, but not as well. For everyone else, they fail to duplicate an exact copy of what they wanted... and in that space, in the space between trying to imitate their heroes and winding up with something, that's where they find their originality.
I've seen Clapton twice, truly a great artist. He is a wonderful Blues player as well and even made the Beatles try better when he played on "My Guitar Gently Weeps".
Clapton was already huge when he put out his clean cover of Bob's song, but it really helped bring a wider audience to Marley's music. Two other English groups used reggae influences in some of their music, the Clash & the Police that also helped Bob & other reggae artists.
Just came across your reaction video…Heard this song hundreds of times by EC 14:2514:25 but never this rendition…Your reaction and comments were fantastic…I’ll be back ❤
Im a 73 yo Kiwi, and i remember in my teens, hearing of “Clapton is god” graffiti in London Subways. So he’s been great for a long time, and i have loved him since.
this came out in the mid 70's as a hit so it was released on 45 this new style of Reggae is so much better, Gadd on drums and Willie Weeks on bass no better then those two
Hey there, hi from South Africa, don't know if you've ever heard " Texas Flood " live at El Mocambo by the greatest guitarist this world has ever known - Stevie Ray Vaughan. Believe me, you will never be the same again ❤
I enjoy hearing these live performances, but I think that it should interest reviewers to hear the version that most of heard and enjoyed on the radio or vinyl. The songs are often almost two different things and for most people the recorded versions were what drove the popularity. This is good, but I"m still locked into the recording.
I love you two together on a reaction. Romain Axisa, who was one of Ren's bandmates in the busking band "The Big Push" a few weeks agon released an amazing solo song that I think you would like. I would love for you to react to it. You may want to read the lyrics, they are pinned in the comments of the song. And Romain also wrote some details about his inspiration in the description of the video. It's here: "Romain Axisa - Time After Time (Live at St Augustine's Chapel)" Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/sEzhMkLvOkw/v-deo.htmlsi=kj-o7l28ulUPbQni Thank you for what you do!

Definitely not the best version I've heard. Those backup singers shrieking at the beginning just ruined it for me, I couldn't watch the rest. I am sorry because I do enjoy your reactions and seeing how these powerful songs, that touched me in my youth, affect you guys. Thanks guys❤

Drummer is the great Steve Gadd..My favorite drummer..Absolutely amazing!..He's played with almost everyone with a career spanning back to the 60's.
It's good that they walk the path of Eric Clapton. Don't miss the multiple collaborations with Mark Knopfler. A big hug !!!
Wow. I never heard this version before. It's so much different than the recorded version. Way more funky. Love it.
Respect to Sir Clapton!

Credits to a previous conment: " People in the audience knew it'll be a great show, still they didn't know what they were about to witness "
Clapton is a Guitar God , you should check out Old Love by Him

If there's any consolation, at least he didn't shoot the deputy. 😂🤣
many nicknames for Clapton... From graffiti in London " Clapton is God" ...to the Escape to Florida, in the 7O'... "Slowhand".

Old Love live is amazing !!!!
Choosing between Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler is like committing a crime .
His playing rhythm guitar on Sultans of Swing at the concert for Nelson Mandela is a must see.
@@chriscorbin2059 I've seen the whole thing. Amazing
Steve Gadd is the drummer. I think the best and he also plays with a jazz band.
Claapton introduced Bob Marley/Reggae to the world.
One of the Coolest of the Cool ones 😎
Ole slow hand himself 🤘
Solid bass player also, holding down that bottom.

Also if you like reggae , try reacting to 'Iron Lion Zion' by Bob Marley.
Not feeling the backup singers but I think it's just because I'm used to the studio version. Clapton, however....perfection!
React to Layla and Tears in Heaven Eric Clapton
Clapton is God.
The version the Bob Marley is best

It seems no one has mentioned this song originated with Bob Marley.
They mention knowing the song from Bob Marley in the video; timestamp 4:24.

Bob Marley..... good job by Clapton tho. It's good, but the Bob version is the one.
