Jose absolutely man! And yes, I don't use the solution I used superclean in this video that works great! I now have a 3 step designated interior system from P&S and I can't wait to test it out! Appreciate you watching!
@@PapaSmurf918Detail ah great, hope to se a review on how well that product works in the near future if you make one. I have subscribed to your channel so i can watch when you have a new clip. Have a great day and thank for sharing.👍
Always make sure your triggering the spray on the way down prior to extractor contacting carpet. This gives this top layer a split second to get use to the liquid it’s about to intake. Found this out over a decade ago when I used to supervise a housekeeping team and ended up overseeing Carpet division. I still keep in touch with my carpet team, they’ve got tons of experience.
I have the older White Bissell green with the tanks at the front and it works perfect. I also have the newer Bissell green proheat. Both work extrememly well. Thanks for the video.
Great extraction video. One thing i do with all flour mats is i give them a good old pressure wash. I never vacuum them i just go straight in. The power of the pressure washer gets all the dirt out from deep within the fibers. Then i hit them with cleaning solution and since there is a lot of water on the carpets i don't dilute the cleaning solution. Then i hit them with a drill brush and do a final rinse with the pressure washer. Since i still don't have an extractor i just hang them out in the sun and brush them with a carpet brush after a while to get those fibers up and help them dry faster. I found out this saves me A LOT of time and carpets feel and look brand new (except for those ware spots that u can't do much about).
Thanks man!! Yup, I too use the pressure washer method as well👍👍 I still hit em with the shop vac though😁. To each there own my friend! As long as we get the results right?? Appreciate you taking the time to watch!!✊🤝 take it easy!
What's up CT. I have no complaints at all. Filling it is easy.. draining is just as easy. @@supergoldfish2010 Man, I struggle with this too.. they sell a self cleaning nozzle on the Bissell website that basically shoots water back into the head. Made for cleaning.. I don't have it but it is to clean it. I used a Bobby pin to try and scrape it out. Lol
@@PapaSmurf918Detail okay man thank you very much for the quick reply and it was helpful. Honestly the side plastic part doesn't need to be there I think, the other nozzles have plastic tabs to take them apart, this would should have came with that
Keith, nope! I just fill it up with hot water from the sink! It does not heat the water for you. Depends on how hot it is outside. Mine were dry in just a few hours. It was like 86° out though so that definitely helped. If its colder you'd wanna crack the windows if your closing doors👍

Dude i ordered this from Bissell like 5 days ago should have it Tuesday cant wait. Glad you did a video on it as well. Also have some drill brushes on the way.
Brandon, appreciate you watching man! Your gonna love it! Paired with the still brushes you will get some awesome results!! Keep me posted when you get it and use it
I have old dogs and there are constant pee accidents. I ordered the Bissell and the bristle brushes, what do you recommend for pet urine stains and odor removal from sofa? I've tried nature's miracle and several others- didn't do anything. Also have rings left on the couch after cleaning
So, I don't have much experience with pet odor BUT in the detailing world with food stains that stink you want to use a enzyme cleaner.. I really like the 3 part system from P&S detailing... I know it's random but I use it in our bedroom when our dogs sneak and an pee. The system is Carpet Bomber, Terminator... which is an enzyme cleaner, then 3 us the peroxide finisher to help kill any chemicals and neutralize odors.
Thanks Bobby! So in the pump sprayer was Superclean ( you can find at Wal-Mart for around 9 bucks a gallon) diluted 5:1👍 very versatile product and at 10:1 is a fantastic interior cleaner for plastics. Also, great to clean tires, fender liners, engine bay ect.. appreciate you watching!
Great video! keep up the good work :) I want to buy 1 or maximum 2 devices for home use that would help me cleaning the car interior - plastic + leather doors , cloth seats ,dashboard, cup holders and so on and the leather sofa at home . What is the best vfm for me ? Thanks
Nick, I can't say I've compared.. I imagine the wet/dry vac definitely has more suction power... all in all its the small size I guess. Also, I use this thing inside my house allll the time lol.
I have, it's ok. I prefer agitating with a separate brush.. especially when it's very dirty. On the other hand if it's light staining I'm 100% sure, the brush on the attachment will work just fine. 👍👍
You know, that's a GREAT idea!!!! I wonder if that would work!?🤔🤔 I'll be testing this! I totally misread your comment. Using the brush head on a SHOP VAC... my apologies.
Mn, Thank you man! Its definitely a tool that I think every weekend warrior/enthusiasts should own. I was looking up extractor prices and SHEESH!!! they're talking like 1200-1700🤯🤯 nope! To rich for Smurfs blood! This thing works awesome!! And its affordable 👍
I use the 3rd step in my P&S interior system. It's a finisher peroxide treatment to kill odors. Then I'm trying a new odor neutralizer from turtle wax.. forgot what it's called.. odor X I believe.
i’m a bit late but i have a quick question. when using the bissel, do you go with or against the direction of the fibers in the carpet, or does it matter? i just ordered the bissel and some cleaning solution for my older car and want to make sure i do it 100% correctly
I'll go both with an against the fibers. Sometimes side to side as well👍 I don't use solution in my machine.. I use my chemicals then run hot water only to extract
Gary, so I don't use anything buy Hot water in my Unit however you can use a APC of your liking.. I use Superclean diluted down to 10:1 that usually takes care of stuff. 5:1 if it's really bad... I also use The P&S 3 step system which is GREAT and safe. I did a video on it as well. That stuff is killer. I'd recommend that👍👍 it's the Terminator, Carpet Bomber, and the Finisher.
Just saw this video, great job will be looking into it. I wonder how it compares to the Bissell stand up one were you plug in the hose and attachments?
Thanks man! You can get Superclean just about anywhere from Autozone to O'Reilly's but I get mine from Walmart👍🏻 gallons go from anywhere from 8-12 bucks a gallon.
I've had the regular Bissell Spot Clean for over 3 years, very dependable. I also follow the Detail Geek, in one of his videos I told him that Bissell ought to sponsor him. 👍🤦♂️😉
Hahaha that's good to hear that your Bissell is still going strong! 😄 oh man he should be sponsored haha. I bought mine because he preached about how good it was. Glad I bought it👍👍
Sorry about the first post, dumb fingers. What I was attempting to say is I have seen their info commercials and know Bissel has been around for a very long time but that doesn't necessarily mean that this little machine would perform well. After watching your review I think for the occasional user, non-professional, this might be a very handy tool to have. Parents with little dirt magnets I think would find this quite helpful around the house and car. Any idea where it's made? Thanks for the review 👍✌️🇺🇸

I have the same my biggest fear is how many cars you can clean before it brake 😀 I know that it's not a heavy duty machine, I hope can last a lot. Later when save some money can upgrade to karcher puzzi for example. What is you experience with this machine until now?
Thank you for the fast reply. Time will show. Specially when I get better with it will reduce my time for cleaning and will be better. I have cleaned 2 car until now, in the weekend will do mine as well but with better technique, learned something from before 😀
@@alxrs1 no problem! Only thing to note is to not apply to much pressure down on the heads and you will be good! Also, I don't clip my hose in I just kinda lay it around it. To help prevent hose failure
@@PapaSmurf918Detail thanks for the advice. I felt it at the beginning that have to be gentle with it and not to clip it back. It must be few centimeters longer. Thank and good luck your detaling business 🍀🙂
I don't recommend storing it with water/solution in it. I mean overnight may not be an issue but for long periods I recommend cleaning and letting it dry out before storing👍 thanks for watching man!🤙
@@clapzy2943 I absolutely love my rigid! I think it was about 80 bucks at home depot.. plus another 40 for the upgraded heavy duty hose ( which I highly recommend) and like 6 bucks for the " muffler " which makes it a little quieter and also acts like a filter for any dust particles that comes out of the machine👍👍
@@PapaSmurf918Detail, I thought that it was most likely purchased separately. Do you recommend purchasing the drill and attachments? If so, what are brand name of those items?
@@snabors12 they do take the effort out of scrubbing that's for sure. You can use just about any drill for the brushes. I'd go for a good drill if you plan on using the drill brush attachments often. If not, the harbor freight drill master is what I got. 👍 I think the brushes were drill stuff brushes on Amazon.
Appreciate the vid. My question is, with the brush head for your drill, which I also have, and a small shop vac that you obviously already own that can do a much better job of extracting the water from anything, why do you feel you need the Bissell? I'm asking because I am trying to talk myself out of buying one of these myself. But I would think that the shop vac would be able to pull out more water faster. My cheap 10 yo shop vac can pull the carpet off the floor if your not careful.
You know I often think the same thing. Could I just use my shop vac? Which I assume yes you most definitely could as long as it's a wet vac. However having a smaller unit easier to clean is preference I guess. Plus we use ours inside more.than I do inside cars for detailing 😄😄
Hell of a review dude!..that’s true, I can’t justify $500+ for an Aqua vac or the very expensive mytee if I’m only doing 2-3 full details a month. Mine just came in yesterday can’t wait till the weekend to use it. Might hit the man cave sofa just for shits lol. Thanks man! 👍🏻
Thanks, Frank!! Absolutely agree.. for the minimal amount of details I do it works like a champ! Plus, we use it inside more often than I do detailing! By all means hit that Sofa and enjoy it!😄 appreciate you watching!
Ha ha, I got the idea from Detail Geek also! He raves about the Bissell Spot Clean Pro! Hands down this things works awesome! I absolutely love this little guy! I even bought the Garage Pro wall mounted vacuum! That thing also rocks! Bissell has some great detailing equipment. I have Rigid vacuum with the detailing accessories but the 30 foot hose Bissell comes with is sooo much more convenient. And pardon the pun but it has some great suction too....
Hahaha man right??? I watched detail geek rave about it for a few vids and said maaan... let me snatch one up!!! So glad I did!!! Such a great machine at an affordable price. Lol I love my rigid shop vac!!! I didn't know they had a 30ft hose though!!! Appreciate you watching man!✊🤝
I just ordered one. What I like best about it, is the small 3” suction head. With the more expensive extractors, the suction heads are too big. You can’t maneuver them and be as precise as the Bissel. Plus, Larry AMMO NYC uses the Bissel, so that’s good enough for me!
Do you know how to open up the small brush extracting attachment to clean the gunk out of it? I've looked and tried on my own and can't figure it out. Mine doesn't have the button or clip release. It's like all the stuff inside the clear plastic area that you see get immediately extracted through the handle. Thanks!
Cory, I haven't taken it apart so I can't answer that haha. I do know what you mean about the gunk though! They make tips to clean with the water on the site I thjnk
Kevin, there is no such thing as a dumb question my friend!!! Yes, I'm holding the button down, but not always holding it down. Some cases if its oversaturated like on cloth Seats I'll just extract without holding the button. If that makes sense!✊🏻
I have a Bissell. There's a few problems that I've experienced with it which makes me not want to use it often. 1, tanks are really small. Seems to fill too quick. 2, the button to disperse water is in a really bad spot as my hand always hits it even when I don't want water. 3, the hose seems to be and is extremely fragile. Got to be on high alert using it. 4, the first time I used the machine was on a pickup truck cloth seats and the guy worked in some gear factory and it was a lot of different chemicals on the seats. After completing the seats I noticed that my hose had a whole bunch of gunk built up and stuck to it and I tried rinsing and that didn't do anything. To this day it's still in the hose and I cannot find a way to actually clean the hose. And whenever I use it after it because of the stuff that stuck to the hose more dirt sticks to that stuff. 5, the little nozzle where the water shoots out. When you press the button and the water comes out it shoots out in a very wide area. And I mean really wide. I try not to oversaturate things. Honestly I would prefer maybe a 4-in width with the water so I can direct the water where I wanted to go, it's just too wide. The machine does work. I wish there was a way to replace the hose with a higher quality hose. Another thing that you need to be cautious is where the handle meets the hose. I can't emphasize enough how fragile the hose seems to be. I like the machine although it could use more suction but the hose sucks although I haven't had a problem with it yet aside from stuff building up inside the hose and not being able to clean it.
It has its cons for sure! Hose is short. Tank is kind of small. However for the price and it's category I feel it's still one of the best out there. I just never wrap up my hose. I always just lay it over top. Trying not to kink the hose near the handle. For smaller jobs quick spot cleanup it works great. I did a huge job on my channel The " PRODIGY " series interior detail. Where I learned it's not one I'd grab for a BIG interior extraction job. BUT it got the job done. Bigger tank would have been huge upgrade on that job.
Awesome vid man I just bought one now as we speak! Also what vacuum did you use? It had great attachments, could you slide over the link to the vacuum pls?

That's a great question and everyone is different depending on skill level and where your at. But hypothetically if I were to do and interior SUV I'd want minimum 300 bucks.
After extracting carpets and cloth seats, what’s the average dry time look like? Also is there a big difference between using super clean vs simple green?
That is a good question.. depends how hot is is out. After I do floormats they tend to try fairly quickly long as its warm and there is sun to lay out in. 1-2hr.. carpet and seats I'm not sure. Depends how saturated the seats and carpet are but I'd say a least 4hr🤷♂️ like I said, all depends how hot it is. 👍
Appreciate the quick reply. When extracting, do you need to spray any water down from the carpet cleaner? Or are you literally just extracting the solution you initially sprayed on the carpet/floormats?
No problem! I don't use any solutions in my extractor I just use hot water that's flushing out the cleaner that remains in the carpets.. so just make sure the water it's clear as its coming out of the carpet. That will let you know that you removed all the remaining solution 👌

@@yohamc4959 It's hard to say I don't have any experience with those units. I'd assume any will work and get the job done. If I had the opportunity I'd maybe opt for a heated unit 👍👍
Wouldn't it be easier to use the extractor on every interior job when you want to do the carpets compared to spraying and brushing the carpets by hand when the carpets aren't that bad? I would think that using the extractor would always remove more dirt compared to doing carpets by hand. Might be faster too. Just a thought that I had today.
Oh absolutely man! But in some cases. . Like someone who details as a job and they don't wanna pay for that service ya know? Or, also some interiors using an extractor can sometimes make it worse like on cloth seats and what not. Hope that makes sense.!
@ 9:35 - I love my kids but if my kids left the back of my car like that they wouldn't be allowed to 'exit the vehicle' untill it was all picked up... You're too easy on your kids... I think you don't lose suction power by using the large nozzle as it is sealed whilst the small one isn't. But you can really improve the suction power of the small one by sealing it, just try using some tape and notice the difference, or blow into the small nozzle after placing some tape on the suction holes and notice how much air flows out of the unsealed parts..

I got my Bissell just like the one you have a couple of weeks ago and iam 100 % with you there, it's an amazing machine and delivers awesome results! The down side is that Bissell carpet shampoo is hard to find but you can always use another brand for that right 😀👍👊.
I just got from amazone the 1500ml wash and protect pro, that will last at least a few months but after that I'll try another brand. I have subscribed to your channel so i can watch when you have a new clip. Have a great day and thank for sharing.👍
Awesome! I do plan on making a video on my new system in the very near future. Appreciate you subscribing man! Take it easy bro!✊🏼
Thanks for the tip my friend!!!
I have the older White Bissell green with the tanks at the front and it works perfect. I also have the newer Bissell green proheat. Both work extrememly well. Thanks for the video.
I still use the same unit in this video and 0 issues! Great little thing! Appreciate you tuning in and Watchung! Thank you!
Very nice. Been thinking about getting one. DO you like where the water actually comes out. many have stated they did not like it

@@supergoldfish2010 Man, I struggle with this too.. they sell a self cleaning nozzle on the Bissell website that basically shoots water back into the head. Made for cleaning.. I don't have it but it is to clean it. I used a Bobby pin to try and scrape it out. Lol

Did you add any cleaner in the Bissell? Does it heat the water? How long does it take for the seats to dry?
Keith, nope! I just fill it up with hot water from the sink! It does not heat the water for you. Depends on how hot it is outside. Mine were dry in just a few hours. It was like 86° out though so that definitely helped. If its colder you'd wanna crack the windows if your closing doors👍

Good video helped out alote what was the product u had in the spray bottle and were can u find it
Thanks Bobby!

What is the best vfm for me ?
Thanks
Thanks man! This unit is still going strong 💪.. forgive me, but what is vfm??
How's this compared to just using a wet/dry vacuum?
Nick, I can't say I've compared.. I imagine the wet/dry vac definitely has more suction power... all in all its the small size I guess. Also, I use this thing inside my house allll the time lol.
Have you ever tried using the brush tip from the extractor on a shop vac?
I have, it's ok. I prefer agitating with a separate brush.. especially when it's very dirty. On the other hand if it's light staining I'm 100% sure, the brush on the attachment will work just fine. 👍👍
@@PapaSmurf918Detail if one just buys a replacement tip of this extractor, and uses it on the shop vac, do you think it would also work?
You know, that's a GREAT idea!!!! I wonder if that would work!?🤔🤔 I'll be testing this! I totally misread your comment. Using the brush head on a SHOP VAC... my apologies.
Awesome review man!! This is a must have tool for any detailer😎🤘🏼

What do you use after you're done spraying the seats so it smells good my extractor just arrived
What brand and type of liquid cleaner is best to remove old coke stains from synthetic seat fabric (2014 Subaru Forester)
Great video! I have one of these ordered. Keep up the great work, really enjoy your channel!

@@dayday2x14 I think it's a 5 gallon

Kevin, there is no such thing as a dumb question my friend!!! Yes, I'm holding the button down, but not always holding it down. Some cases if its oversaturated like on cloth Seats I'll just extract without holding the button. If that makes sense!✊🏻
PapaSmurf918 thanks alway can count on you for a fast reply
👌🏼👍🏻✊🏼

@@c-za.c7085 no problem man!

@ 9:35 - I love my kids but if my kids left the back of my car like that they wouldn't be allowed to 'exit the vehicle' untill it was all picked up... You're too easy on your kids... You should have made them at least pick all that up and 'you' address the stains and ground in mess. Excellent video. Subbed.
Hahaha your absolutely right! Unfortunately kids will be kids. This is now my daily so they drive my suburban. I won't lie I'm afraid to see the back seat in that thing LOL they help me clean though so it's all good 😄 appreciate the Sub!!! Thanks for watching!
Is it bad if you don’t mix with solution
Nope, not all. Come to think of it. I've never mixed solution.. always just use hot water 👍👍👍
Oh ok Thank you appreciate it
@@josea7467 no problem my friend! Anytime!
Andrea, hey thanks for that tip!! I will absolutely try this next time👍👍 thank you for watching and commenting 🤙 have an awesome day!✊
Put Amazon links to the products you use and start getting affiliate sales. Good video! I just ordered the machine.
Darren, I thought about it but I'm not really here to make money off of people buying things through me lol. Appreciate you watching my friend!!!✊
Congrats to you, you just sold another one :)
Thanks Scott! You'll love it. Still using mine to this day👍👍 appreciate you watching and enjoy that thing!
the bissell spot clean (smaller unit) might be better for the DIY detailer that details their own car.
Very well could be! I find this unit perfect for my needs though 👍👍 appreciate you watching!!
Shit! When I was a kid, if you even thought of eating in the car you'd get one upside the old noggin. 😆
John!!! Hahaha same here man!!! And after ANY trip it was me and my brother cleaning out the mess!!! Or else!🤣
Your father can read your mind?
@@jbooks888 Wtf does that mean? It was obeying ur parents rules. Something the kids don't have today.
Idk can he???

For really tough spots I will use steam and a microfibre towel
Rob, I recently purchased a steamer and man!!! Such a GREAT investment.. agree with you. Steamer can cut through some tough stuff! Thanks for taking the time to watch!
Good day papa smurf!!! Not first😭 (you spelled bissell wrong)😂
Hank!!! If your not first your last!!! LOL oh and yes, thank you 🤦♂️ I had a few people let me know! Hahaha that's what I get for waking up a 3am to try and get a video uploaded! Lol 😂 appreciate you watching buddy!
PapaSmurf918 lol thanks!! Nice extractor!! I find that I avoid using extraction as much as possible!!! On those seats you need to worry about wicking like the stains re surfacing. Steam is my go to then extraction usually
@@henryfreeman6113 ahhh yes! The steam! I need to get myself one.! I hear you about wicking back up as far as stains.. I've never had that issue so far ( knock on wood ) just gotta avoid over saturating and I think you will be ok!👍
