Hey andrea I've used this cleaner before so i know what you're doing i use this at work a lot my boss tells me when we need the carpets clean and gets this for me at work.
Brilliant machine, did 4 carpeted rooms. I spray the solution, leave it for a few minutes then agitate it with the brush before sucking up the residue Left overnight to dry.
That carpet will forever be clean in this video! ☺

Cool! I just had a delivery of my new Bissell spot cleaner this morning.... after work, I am soooooo gonna give this a go. I think my hallway carpets are clean but then last year I had 7 trees chainsawed out in the back garden... and I just have a feeling the hallway carpet is a little more dirty than think. Guess Ill find out laters. Thanks for the tutorial though :)
I have an upright and love it. I had a older one similar but it quit so now we have the upright.
I just bought one of these, and I also ordered the hydrorinse tool to clean the hose. Wish I had watched this video before because then I would have known about the bowl of water technique. One thing I find odd is that with my old cheaper Bissell green machine the attachment head had an extra button that when pressed you could pull off the clear top part to clean it, don't know why they changed it. But I'm keeping the old one because it still fits this model and saving the one that it came with.
I am waiting for my bussell to arrive today for what has now become our dog sectional lol. Thank you for your tutorial and tips. Funny story we moved to Clearwater Beach for a short time and furnished an entire condo very cheaply from College Students moving away quickly after their semesters. I purchased an entire brand new corduroy couch set for 75 dollars the only thing wrong with it had pilling. I ran to the laundry section at Walmart and picked up the pilling remover, spent a few hours using it and it was literally like I just walked out of the store with it. Another fun fact.... when we moved I sold it for 400.00 to an acquaintance because we are non smokers, no pets and even after 2 years with my 3 young children (because it was Florida we were always out and about exploring never sitting inside) kept it like new.

I purchased it for two main reasons. First, I wanted to clean spots on our living room rug. Secondly, I want to clean car upholstery.

I've been using a fabric shaver on my couch for years! I just recently bought an electric one because I kept killing the battery ones. I was also tired of changing batteries so often. The electric ones are only a couple bucks more than the battery ones.

Bissell is the best brand for carpet cleaning. I've gone through 3 carpet cleaners. My first was a Hoover it lasted 3 years my sec was a Bissell my 3rd is also a Bissell. I just upgrade to a newer model. I had my 2 one for 9 year.
Maybe you could use a straw cleaner brush for the head attachments.

These are horrible tips. You are supposed to spray the cleaner, wait a few minutes, agitate it (a drill brush is a necessity for this if you will be cleaning car seats a lot it will save your wrists), then vacuum it out

Clean Screen door w/a foaming attachment with a Power washer. When spring comes I go crazy with my power washer, deck, deck furniture, walk ways, driveway, siding, brick, doors, windows, including the vehicles. The handiest cleaning machine for outdoor is a power washer. There are accessories that make it fun to clean. Things look new again. Just be careful use common sense and watch lots of videos on how to use it.

It's strange that the new spot cleaners don't let you remove the window on the head. My Spotclean proheat pet's tool has a little button to release it.

Depends on the specific stain 👍 I would pretreat any stains first though.

I cleaned my sectional with Bissel Pro and now I have a bad odor. Brand new machine .Do you know why it smells so bad?
It likely lifted underlying smells and brought them to the surface 👍 clean 2-3x to remove the smells.
What's the drying time after cleaning, and how moist is the carpet etc.?

I am desperate to find something that will take gummy hair product off of the headrest parts of my couch. I have tried sooooo many hacks. I have thought of having someone come clean it but would rather do it myself as the cost to have a couch cleaned is not cheap. Please help!!!

What is wrong when it stop sucking the water up?
When this happened to me I found that it was because the dirty water tank had the water above the full mark. I emptied it and suction was back.

I can't see the difference between thus model and the pet model? The small looks the same , spec the same . I think its just the bigger head .
