i just binge watched your vids from start to present today - WOW - its truly great to see a quality boat built from scratch to finish - and what you have designed and achieved inside really opens up the mind to do something similar (i wish) - the look and feel is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, love the moody lighting, it works so well in a small space, looks very warm and cosy, and the heater unit, stunning - i was pleased you gave us an insight to the heating etc, but would be just as pleased to know the workings as well, can the under floor heating work with the radiators? sorry a bit nerdy like that and of course like everyone i'm sure might be interested in some costs as well as running power etc, without prying into personals, ok more work for you if you do another vid - very cool though, excellent work, can't thank you enough
pete mackean....Thanks for the kind words. The underfloor heating is electric so completely separate from the water filled radiators. The boat is super insulated and with it being such a small place it’s cheap as chips to heat even in the coldest winter. Never stop dreaming, that’s where I get all my best ideas.
Any chance you might do a more in depth series of build videos. I will be starting my build this year and loved your style of fit out. Also which builder have you gone with this time?
andy bailey ...I tried to keep the vids not so in depth otherwise it gets to boring for some people but I will try a bit harder on the next boat. I am using HT fabrication in Thurmaston because a few of my mates have had shells off them and my original boat builder did not have a build slot till later in the year and I did not want to move onto the shell going into winter.
I quite liked your current name and integration with port holes. So to that end... Northern Ahoy Broad Buoy Broad Beacon Jolly Northerner Northern Voyage Moor Aboard Above Board Boiler Room
You mentioned the new boat size will be the same size as Northern Buoy 57" x 10'6". That's a little shorter than most wide beams and a little narrower. I'm curious to understand how you settled on those dimensions. You are clearly a chat who plans meticulously so I'm sure you have good reason. Before I leap in and order a 60' x 11' and then regret it what's your thinking? Thanks!

I'll suggest "Knoty Buoy" 😉. Anyway, best of luck.
Will add it to the list. Already have Nauti Buoy on the list. Thanks.
would you mind sharing what the selling price was?
Paul Larsen ...I understand people asking but it’s not fair to the new owners to discuss this.
