I want you to build a boat for me this looks amazing if you built something like this for me omg your boat would definitely convince the GF to move into a boat.. love your vidoes... And I love the LEDs tooo the bathroom is lush I wanna know how you do that.. your tips are very welcome
Health Solutions Plus ...purely space. I could certainly fit two sinks on the worktop but because of the toilet you would struggle to stand in front of the second sink.
Hopefully my boat build is due to start this month. I like the gas hob you have could you let me have the make and model/ Also mirror in bathroom looks nice i would need something a bit smaller though. Please keep the videos coming
I've waited with growing anticipation for this vlog - absolutely superb fit-out again and you must be very proud. I had followed Northern Buoy in detail - but Northern Light is 'perfection built on excellence', it surpasses even those previous high standards. Was pleased to see the Refleks stove again - proves it's worth. Thank you for posting. May I ask a question or two - this is 10' 6" beam (comfortably within the new licencing category) so am I close when thinking the internal beam above gunnel is about 9" 8" / 9" 10" and below gunnel is closer to 10' ? Did you say the "bomb-proof" kitchen is from Ikea (my duff ears) ? And are those PVC ceiling panels available in the UK? Links would be good, please :). But seriously, absolutely superb throughout.
Thaterisafella thank you so much for the kind words. Above the gunnel the internal beam is 9’4” after 1” batton and 12mm board on each side and below the gunnel 9’ 8” as I have 70mm of steel upstand filled with insulation then 1” batton and 12mm board on each side. I also had to narrow my stern door opening slightly from 800 to 700mm to get the kitchen in. All the units on the boat are from ikea as they are good quality and you can always get them even 10 years later. Not sure how to add a link about the ceiling but if you search mb decor and look at the white ash v groove ceiling you should find it. Make sure you don’t use thin stuff as it shows the corrugations. Must be 10mm thick at least. Hope that helps.
@@northernbuoy1 - Thank you so much for such a comprehensive response. I've taken a 'copy and paste' of all the details - and have found MB Decor so all good for when the time comes. Thank you again. P.S. - I did post a 'thank you' response earlier - but must have failed to click on 'Reply' - Doh!
It all looks absolutely wonderful and I’m quite in love with your choice of colour scheme and materials 👍 Can you advise me, being 10’ 6” beam, are you able to access the whole of the system or, are you restricted to just the North or the South and unable cruise both? All the best
You have to make a decision with a wide boat to either locate in the south or midlands/north. You cannot travel between the two without getting lifted out. I think in total we can travel around 70% of the whole network. Thanks for the kind words.
Was definitely worth the wait!! Thanks for another great video, loving the look of Northern Light we do have the same taste in decor and the love of tech and lighting. Really impressed with the bedroom wardrobes did you make these yourself? If not I’d be interested where you got them from?
andy bailey Thanks. All the units in the boat are from ikea, reasonably prices, very robust and widely available. They all have to be seriously doctored as nothing on the boat is standard size.
If I had the money this is the boat I would buy,it’s so classy 🚢😁👍🏼
Loving northern light, you do have some great ideas..
Especially the steps
Cheers
Cool Runnings Thanks....everybody loves the steps.
These boats have such a modern feel to them, I love what you do with them, you deserve more recognition for your work
Looking good ,can’t wait to hear about under floor heating.
Ashley Risk Thanks for the comment. Heating video is imminent.

Looking good. Why haven't you installed a his and her's sink in the bath room? Always helps when there are two people living in board.
