I'm only 11 and this is my new favourite hobby! Ive always wanted to be able to make blankets and stuff! Thanks for the tutorial Edit: I'm 12 now! Edit: woah looking back on this comment is really cool! Its so good to see people enjoying new things, especially during the pandemic! I've also started maked cloth dolls and I've also started writing a story! I can't wait until I'm 13 and get to look back at this! 😂🤪😀
My grandmother randomly gave me a bunch of this loop yarn. Then, I realized it was colors that were in her ocean themed living room. So, I decided to make her a blanket with the yarn she gave me ❤
I just found this video. Thank you for the real time depiction of how to do this! Two hours after finding your tutoring, I’m almost halfway finished my blanket, having never done this before!
I Am a knitter and crocheted and this loopy yarn intimidated me so I never bought it, but now I will give it a try. Thankyou for the easy to understand tutorial.
I'm only 12 years old and I realized I that I wanted to try something new. Crochet was one of the options, but I found it a bit too hard so I decided to try out loop yarn stitching and this tutorial has helped me improve my new and favorite activity! Thank you so much !
I can’t wait to try this! My nephew’s girlfriend’s mother made this for my sister and it has become her favorite blanket. I want to make one for each of my 4 children !
I saw this yarn at the store and had to get some....It just looked cool and they had the perfect colors for our living room. Your tutorial is awesome...I love how you have covered so many things in just this short time....I have always wanted to learn to knit but even after several classes, I can't knit so this is a great alternative for me.......btw, I can crotchet just fine, lol....Thank you again sew much......
This was amazing, I loved it! So simple yet beautiful. It reminds me of how my mother would make these kinds of blankets for winter. Thank you for making this video.
This is so cute. I started crocheting, and I would make stuff for the girls I babysit. One of the girls surprised me with some yarn, but it was this type of yarn. So I was unable to crochet with it, and I really want to try this.
I picked up some of this yarn not really understanding exactly how or what to do with it. Thank you for this video. Now I have another new way of creating blankets or whatever I choose.
This was incredibly helpful. I’ve been wanting to buy loop yarn for months now but wasn’t sure how to use it. I’m definitely pick up a couple bunches next time I go to the craft store to practice on.
thank you so much for this! i’ve been wanting to try some new hobbies out during quarantine and this is exactly what i needed to keep me busy during the week 😁
Thank you for this video. I've always seen this yarn and always liked it but I'm not a knitter but now I can knit me a blanket that I will absolutely live. Thank you soooooo much. I really love this.
Love the border. I made a large blanket with the border shown here. My only question is how to avoid tails when changing colors at the end of a row? I used your idea for adding a new skein in the middle of a row but wasn't sure it would not make a bump at the end of a row. Will look at more of your videos. Thanks!
Geezer your 10 year old. I'm 52 and just now learning. You're a great mom. My mom unfortunately didnt like making any kind of crafts but always enjoyed watching me. Well it wasn't that she didnt like it, she said she could never be coordinated enough to do it. I tried to get her to try it but she wouldnt. I'm going to use your video to teach my grandchildren to do this. I want to leave them with wonderful memories of making things with me.
My first time on your channel and working with loop yarns. Your tutorial was very easy to follow. I wish you could of posted the full blanket with border so I can get a better idea. Thanks!!!
My grandma who’d been knitting for about 85 years now, and would knit like a jumper per day, cannot do the small movements and hold needlew anymore, which is very sad, but then I found this finger knitting yarn in a yarn shop and now just trying to understand it so we can practice it together - hopefully she’ll be able to keep her hands busy with this! Next stop, arm knitting 😂
Thank you soooo much my friend bought me some wool and I had no clue how to use it. I’m in the process of making my first and probably not last blankie ❤️
First, THANK NYOU for showing us an explaining everything clearly and in simple terms. I am ready to buy some yarn and try it! I have a question I hope you can answer. When you are doing the stitches, how tightly should the yarn be pulled when pulling the loops through?
Thank you so much for doing this video because it is very helpful!!! (Especially since I have no experience whatsoever!!!) really like and appreciate how you explained everything because it actually makes sense to me!!! I'll let you know how my blanket making goes - as I am making crafts for Christmas presents this year!!!🙋🙋🙋
i went to hobby lobby and saw this stuff and it was really fluffy so i wanted to try it and i am so glad i did its so quick and easy! this video explains it so well too!
Thanks for the tutorial. Which brand did you use? Some brands vary greatly, in length. Seven skeins of 18 yds each or 7 skeins of 7.6 yds each? Big difference and since yarn lots vary I try to buy enough at a time.
honestly, it does not matter the brand it just has to be 18 yards per skin and just to let you know that joanns is having a sale and the loop it yarn is only 2.99! www.joann.com/lion-brand-off-the-hook-yarn/16366403.html
Once I complete a row, do I need to do the end of row edge, or do I just keep doing row by row and then finish the edges at the end. I couldn't quite figure that out from your demo
You do the end of row edge when you get to the end of each row. Not sure if I understand exactly what you are trying to figure out, but hopefully you got it.
hi!! so i'm making this and i have about 50 rows done but i don't think you said how many rows you need. I have 70 loops across but how many rows do i need to finish it?
Hey I was wondering how you go about washing it. I already made mine but something spilt on it and when we tried to clean it with a shower head it made the blanket scraggly feeling
I’m only 12 and I got a bunch of these for Christmas and I had no idea how to make them! Thank you!!
My mom and I went to Joann’s and got this loop yarn. This makes for a great activity for quarantine! Thank you so much for making it so so clear!!
I did the exact same but I only got one so know I can’t finish the blanket I was making:(
ronin clark how many would you need??
4-5 for a one person blanket
Same!
@@iBeFloe I read 7-9
it's currently 2:30am and I refuse to sleep until I finish this

I'm a guy and I'm looking and listening to how to make blankets and baby clothing for my new family.

This was the only tutorial that I actually grasped. Made a baby blanket in one morning. Thank you for the great tutorial 🩷
I am making this blanket now using red, white and blue yarn. I found you on UA-cam and was glad I found your site again. I love this pattern.

Do you have to do the pearl stitch?
Such a helpful video. Was able to make a great throw blanket!
It makes a huge difference if you do it laid out on a table versus in your lap.
This is sooo easy thank you so much!!!
Doing this for a school project. quite fun! takes a while though!
this was so helpful and simple, thank you so much!!!!!
I have a bunch left over from older projects but will it be enough for a twin blanket let's find out
This is by far the best how-to video. I especially like the border. Thanks
i would say if you have a couch that can lay back then you can do it on a couch but if not its hard
If you wash it will it come apart in the rinse cycle, thanks

How would I make the top and bottom look the same like have the same finish
Once I complete a row, do I need to do the end of row edge, or do I just keep doing row by row and then finish the edges at the end. I couldn't quite figure that out from your demo
You do the end of row edge when you get to the end of each row. Not sure if I understand exactly what you are trying to figure out, but hopefully you got it.
So gonna try this on my next project
I have made a baby blanket, baby cap, and an adult scarf using loop yarn. So fast and easy.
Thanks so much, that's awesome 😊👍👍
But please, how many loops should I count instead of 10, to make a blanket for my 1 year old daughter?
This was so helpful when I started mg blanket! Thank you!
hi!! so i'm making this and i have about 50 rows done but i don't think you said how many rows you need. I have 70 loops across but how many rows do i need to finish it?
Thank you for a great lesson.
How many bundles would you suggest buying to make that size blanket?
Hey I was wondering how you go about washing it. I already made mine but something spilt on it and when we tried to clean it with a shower head it made the blanket scraggly feeling
If I wanted to do a big blanket with multiple different yarn bundles. Do u think 10 is good per square???
What brand the variegated yarn and where did you find it?
I’m making a blanket with some yarn like this but I’m not going threw the front is it okay to keep going threw the back and how do I add a new roll?
Do you have to do the ridge? It was around 5:12
Nope, you can do the same stitch for the entire thing!
Wow love this!!! Tfs
can I do the entire thing with the knit stitch?
How much yarn do you think I would need for a queen blanket ? Thank you so much for the video!
Does the blanket curl up if it is all the same stitch? Thank you.
Was the 70 loop big enough for people ?asking before I start so I know what size I should do
I did 120 70 seemed really narrow to me .
@@lupe1808 how many skeins did you use for 120?
Wonderful video, you make it so clear!!!! Thank you very much, can’t wait to try it!
thank you sooo much, you helped a lott 💕
