@@opheliamyphelia It is because some Filipinos use catsup separately while cooking the sauce. The ready made spaghetti sauce for sure has catsup in it 'cause it is made to be a stand alone ingredient meaning if you don't want to add catsup then you didn't have to 😁 coz again it is a Spaghetti sauce (all in one) not just Tomato sauce ☺️

Don't just jump in to the bandwagon, watch her content and declare if its clickbait. Be thankful that she's introducing our foods, culture, and values to South Korea. Apart from that she also lived in the Philippines for about 9yrs. The filipino spaghetti for me is like the equivalent of seaweed soup in the Philippines. You can't have your birthday without it because noodles/pansit/pasta in general is believed to be a symbol of long life in most filipino households.

My boss told me that way way back when he's still young (he's 50+ rn) a celebrant is well off or rich if the birthday party has a spaghetti, not until Jollibee came to picture and introduced the Jolly spaghetti wherein you can eat it anytime and of course at an affordable price. Since then Pinoy spaghetti is widely commercialized and can be eaten anytime of the day even without a celebration ☺️

There are different ways to cook spaghetti here in philippines, depends on the household. When I cook I add liver spread and bell pepper. And if you want to partner it to a spicy filipino food, I recommend Dynamite. It's a spring roll made from jalapeño pepper, ham, cheese , I add tofu instead of meat.
