@@arshiamajdpouya8620 No I did the same thing I told her the truth but before talking with her get the human guy across from her in the hotel with the glasses to decipher the puzzle that you get after killing the Hound who was lying about who he was because you need that to get the ending achievement for Eugenie. (the weapons girl) But make sure you follow the rest of this guy’s video because I was able to still get the “Lies Of P” trophy by the end of my 1st playthrough.
@@arshiamajdpouya8620 I was still able to get the golden lie weapon as well because I followed everything else in this video. But if you want the “RISE OF P” follow everything in this video and I got majority of the records as well that helps get humanity as well just in case.
Here's some experience I've had in my playthrough: There is actually no requirements after getting grey hair, just do whatever you want and you can get the 'Rise of P' ending. Also for Eugine's questline, telling her the truth everytime leads to completing her questline, unlike lying to her, which grants you humanity as well as different record. So you don't have to lie everytime to get humanity.
I already have the rise of p ending and in my second playthrough I already selected "give her peace" can I still get the other good ending by lying to Manus? Or did I fuck up and need to take the Bad ending?
@@Marlon-iq4vv lying to Manus won't change a thing. You shouldn't have given Sophia peace. If your hair is grey you can either get the rise of p ending or bad ending.
To get eugenie trophy you don't need to tell the truth everytime you just need to tell that his brother was Alidoro and you get the trophy, because i lied to her everytime except that time.
if u feel like you won’t get “your heart is pounding”, don’t worry. you don’t exactly need to have max. you just need to have enough humanity to get the white hair which can even be at “you feel warmth.” so just try doing all the side quests, answer the phone calls correctly, listen to the vinyls, n follow the videos guide and you’re 100% guaranteed to get this ending. just don’t forget to have the grey hair on when fighting nameless puppet
So it's basically just grey hair + give sophia peace. You don't need to do all the actual steps ? There is a bunch of those where I didn't give a "correct" answer and my hair is grey.
I think the most important things to get rise of P is getting enough Humanity to unlock grey Hair and defeating the nameless puppte/refuse giving the heart
As a note it is possible to get the Lies of P ending with answering Simon wrong. Just got it without needing to redo the whole playthrough. Very happy honestly lol
I just finished my first playthrough and I like to go blindly on my first run in these types of games and got rise of P ending too while telling Simon that I gave her peace so….I don’t know why these guides are making this point so crucial
@@khalidsnow5611 Same I was happy to find out I had accidentally stumbled onto the true ending without trying since my hair turned grey and I had answered, up to that point, everything correctly. I think its more of they're not 100% sure of what causes the ending since it's still a new game.

Damn that sucks. I got the golden lie weapon on mine though lol and the measurements of humanity saying that your heart won’t pound before speaking to Sophia is off too I’m on my 2nd playthrough now and my hearts beating and still haven’t reached her yet. So….I don’t know
@@AGD_27 Same I had to do another play through for my final ending anyway and got it well before the choice of letting Sophia live. I think it is easier in NG+ for some reason? Soon as I got it ran over to the traitor and got my final two boss weapons. Was saving the final boss' souls just in case I managed it before the final bosses. Those accessories were tempting lol
@biddlybongwong true the nameless puppet took me two days to defeat 😅 I did a huge mistake I finished him with a groggy and didn't get the tropy... I'm in ng++ now.
The Rise of Pinnochio is one long challenge. Don’t know if that would make us feel better or not. I mean let’s face, lying hurts far worse than telling the truth, with that, we learn how the characters reacts and feel as if we were in that position. I would be interested to try all paths, the pinnochio path, the George Washington path, and just a basic straight forward one. See how I understand the game.
The reason for lying isn’t to feel what they feel it’s because it’s a human thing to do. Lie. Everytime we lie we appear more human. The character doesn’t lie because he WANTS to feel what they feel , it’s because he already knows what they feel so when we (the character) choose to lie , it’s us showing our humanity. If you never lie and always tell the truth then your just doing as your told , like a puppet. But what’s this about a George Washington path lol
I had to finish it four times , this reminds me of how painful it was getting the mafia 3 platinum that game was easy but I had to finish it 6 or 7 times just to get a broken trophy
I did a lot of things differently here and got the rise of P ending. It felt more humane to tell Eugenie about her brother, even thought it was difficult for her, I also told her that he didn't like the gloves. I told simon he's making monsters. I told Geppeto no, I brought Alidoro to the Hotel. I told Arlecchino that I am a puppet and I said that I am a Killer (my conscience started to get to me here). I also told Venigni that the message mentioned Geppeto...I liked this game, I constantly found myself asking what is the humane thing to do, something I feel like RDR2 was only able to challenge me to do till this point.
I did everything like you with exceptions (like stallker thing 5:23) and now after talk with Arlecchino I got "your heart is pounding" so I guess its possible but you need do everything perfect (I listened every music). I did it in ng+. But thank you so much for your guide it was really helpful
About the free from the string ending. Ive seen a lot of people that Say that you have to literally never lie. Is this true or do i Just to follow what Is in the video?
I legit did everything correct on my first playthrough to get the rise of P ending with no guides just to fumble at the end and give Geppetto the heart even tho i knew he was bad from all the hints. I just wanted P to become human somehow and got the worst ending lmao. Insane game
It's actually very possible to get level 4 humanity if you try to get "rise of p ending" (i did at least) here's what i did (SPOILER ALERT) -lied to the woman in chapter 2 -lied to all the riddles on the phones -lied to the atoned (used stalker's promise, can obtain it by killing survivor in chapter 3) -did not do the side quest in chapter 4 -told the truth to alidoro about where hotel krat was -lied to julian's side quest in chapter 6 -lied to antonia saying "of course" after defeating king of puppets -showed polendina the ring (can only do this if you did julian's side quest) -talked to belle in chapter 7 (need this to lie about atkinson's death) -lied to simon after defeating champion victor in chapter 7 -got the cure and used it for antonia -lied to eugenie saying that alidoro liked the gloves -played the piano after finishing chapter 8 -lied to venigni about the recording (listened to the message again by talking to venigni and obtaining the recording) -told the truth to eugenie that the real alidoro was her brother (if you talked to her again you will gain humanity) -listened to the records "Feel," "Someday," "Why," "Memory of Beach," and "Proposal, Flower, Wolf Part 1) -interacted with all of the memories at the beginning of chapter 11 if you got everything right, then by the time you talked to king of riddles and said human you should get level 4.
When playing, I had no desire to make P a human. I always thought he should have stayed a puppet but have free will and be good. Almost like the opposite of the evil riddle guy who thought puppets are humans but was evil

You can get your heart pounding before you beat Laxasia and talking to Sophia just do everything you do to get the golden lie weapon and add on listening to the records assuming you have all the records available to that point..
I just made a run only to get the free from the strings. Never lied, no contact with other people. Just straight to the point. Chose to let sophia live, told manus I freed her and when got to geppetto I only got prompted with GIVE HEART. WAT? anybody knows? I literally missed my entire run
Yeah im not sure but on a video i saw, the player also got one prompt. Did your P still have the short hair? Mine had long hair and i got both prompts. I suppose you must attain a certain level of humanity so that you are not a complete puppet and have the choice.
@@thehater6189 It was NG+ so I could choose hair, but never got transformed during the run. I guess the thing is to have more interaction and tell the truth. That other run I wen straight to the point with 0 interaction. Last time I did the doll baby, eugenie gloves quest and told antonia she was ugly basically. Also picked the portrait from brotherhood place and check all the time the wood nose was not there. Then I managed to get prompted and get the ending
@@Masi7 interesting. I just finished my first playthrough and did most of the side quests, it would seem. I missed the baby one completely somehow. I thought i was pretty thorough. I guess in order to even have a choice, you must do the bare minimum interaction. That way, if someone just blazes through it, they are locked into the bad ending

I reached your heart is pounding right when I got to Sophia and gave her peace. I did everything you showing in this video except I didn’t kill alidoro impostor and I told belle her friend became a monster ..
I'll be honest, I did pretty much everything like this during my 1st playthrough, biggest difference was that I didn't do the last call nor I unlocked the last door with the trinity key, I guess that if you don't do at least one of these 2 you won't get the Rise of P ending 'cause in terms of warmth and all I was perfectly fine but for some reasons the hair didn't change color. A real shame.
I do believe that it is not necessary lie all the time. Like, for example - dont make any sense fight against the atoned, lie to eugenie and say yes to geppeto. from the moment you reach the long hair you are close to be human at the point you resume the suffering of sophia.
for queast 19 you guys need to finish all voice lines of venini before fighting the three brothers or you will have to wait untill killing laxasia to here romio's message
Dang it, i lied throughout the whole game and got enough humanity, let sofia live, but chose gave my heart. Missed the fight with nameless and real rise of p ending. Couldn't even back up save on the series x. Don't feel like doing ng+ all over again :(... if anything should leave real boy ending as very last as ng+ boss fight difficulty ramps up..
To get the "Free From Puppet Strings" ending you can do whatever you want (including lie on everything) as long as you answer with "Let Her Live" when talking to Sophia after the Luxasia boss and picking the "Refuse" option when talking to Geppetto after the Simon Manus boss.

@@ChiaKairi Yes you can pick any of the 2 options when talking to Sophia. However, if you pick the "Let Her Live" option, you will block out the "Rise Of P" ending, making sure that no matter what you do you will get the "Free From The Puppet Strings" ending (as long as you "Refuse" at the end). You can also get this ending by selecting "Give Her Peace" but you risk getting the "Rise Of P" ending if you have very high humanity at the time of doing this.
You can actually get the pounding heart before you give Sophia peace. You need every small side quest, every lie and you must listen to every vinyl except that one of Sophia and you have a pounding heart before that event occurs.
For those that care I didn't do all of these steps and still got the Grey hair so don't fret I started watching this video late. Time to get my ending now on ng+

For Gaining Humanity #3, give the Stalker's greeting, that's a lie. You will get "Ergo is whispering" message that way. Doing nothing is the truth. Don't use that.
Just a heads up, it wouldn’t let me go to Krat central station after Ch.9 so I figured it would just loop around, which it did. But because of that I hadn’t progressed the video any further and ended up killing Belle’s partner. He’s a damn monster for gods sakes. Not sure if these are out of order right there but you definitely run into Belle’s partner before you can answer the phone after Ch.9. There’s no way to get back there. Can’t warp there and can’t go out the front door of the Hotel.
I’m on ng+ 2 and I have gotten my humanity to max by the end of the Simon fight by lying to him. I gave Sophia peace already but still didn’t get the rise of p ending. Please help. I don’t understand what I did wrong, I literally just need to finish Sophia’s story for Platinum but forgot to pick up her item in geppetos room so im running ng again and again.
Hi i didnt finished the video but you did the secondary quest bringing the broken pupet to that woman in chapter 2 and now you went from malum district to chapter vi without talking to the old woman for the wine can you answer becouse you did this video for the players, my questione Is did i gain humanity from the wine quest' or not ? thx for the guide. just fucked it up once my hair didnt turn grey in ng+3. kinda weird. i gave antonia the cure but didnt get any cutszene with her, also i didnt get to answer to vengini about the whoever caused the puppet frenzy thing. is there a chance that some of the stuff carries over into ng+ and you cant get some lie options anymore? on that note - i also didnt get to do the cecile quest. But on my ng run i also didnt do that and my hair turned grey. I feel there are some really specific trigger which dont seem to be discovered yet

Is there a humanity requirement for the Free from Strings ending? I just did a speedrun, without talking to characters nor listening to records or doing anything. I let Sophia live then when I reached Geppetto at the very end and he asks for your heart, THE ONLY OPTION WAS TO GIVE IT TO HIM. The "refuse" option was not available so I'm confused about what exactly I am supposed to do to get that ending.

Late response but I got the free from strings ending by lying a lot, I just didn't give Sophia peace (I llet her live thinking I could save her later) and refusing to give Gepetto the heart. So even with a lying play though you can still seem to get it
Yeah I was able to get the ending as well it was the last one I needed for the platinum trophy. Maybe it is just that one choice because I did a balance between truth and lying. So by the time I let Sophia live my hair was still long and black, did not turn gray.@@aliceliddell9329

Rise of P ending level 4 "Heart Is Pounding" It is possible to get this before talking to Sophia. I was worried about my hair not changing to grey. I went to hotel krat to play the record dropped from Antonia and it displayed for me. Before that I still had "You Feel Warmth" Ps' hair is grey now so hopefully I get this ending and not "free from the puppet strings" ending again.
How do you know if you have enough humanity? Is the ONLY requirement that the thing has to say “You feel warmth”? Or is there more to it? Once i’m warm am I good?
Can someone who is 100% sure tell me how much humanity do I need for "Free from puppet strings" ending? I was following three different guides online that all said that you should ONLY tell the truth the whole game and when I reached Geppeto the Refuse option wasn't there. (which makes sense lore-wise, because you're a puppet with no free will) and all these guides were wrong. Should I get just enough for the first stage of transformation and just not get white hair? If I get white hair will I miss it?
Incase it helps others: I was stressing about this too. If you pray at the statue and make an effort to get records, you can max out humanity, get the golden lie weapon, and still not get white hair by letting Sophia live, then refuse Geppeto and you get free from paper strings.

No I did the same thing I told her the truth but before talking with her get the human guy across from her in the hotel with the glasses to decipher the puzzle that you get after killing the Hound who was lying about who he was because you need that to get the ending achievement for Eugenie. (the weapons girl)
But make sure you follow the rest of this guy’s video because I was able to still get the “Lies Of P” trophy by the end of my 1st playthrough.

I was still able to get the golden lie weapon as well because I followed everything else in this video.
But if you want the “RISE OF P” follow everything in this video and I got majority of the records as well that helps get humanity as well just in case.
Here's some experience I've had in my playthrough:
There is actually no requirements after getting grey hair, just do whatever you want and you can get the 'Rise of P' ending.
Also for Eugine's questline, telling her the truth everytime leads to completing her questline, unlike lying to her, which grants you humanity as well as different record. So you don't have to lie everytime to get humanity.
I already have the rise of p ending and in my second playthrough I already selected "give her peace" can I still get the other good ending by lying to Manus? Or did I fuck up and need to take the Bad ending?
@@Marlon-iq4vv lying to Manus won't change a thing. You shouldn't have given Sophia peace. If your hair is grey you can either get the rise of p ending or bad ending.

To get eugenie trophy you don't need to tell the truth everytime you just need to tell that his brother was Alidoro and you get the trophy, because i lied to her everytime except that time.

if u feel like you won’t get “your heart is pounding”, don’t worry. you don’t exactly need to have max. you just need to have enough humanity to get the white hair which can even be at “you feel warmth.” so just try doing all the side quests, answer the phone calls correctly, listen to the vinyls, n follow the videos guide and you’re 100% guaranteed to get this ending. just don’t forget to have the grey hair on when fighting nameless puppet
So it's basically just grey hair + give sophia peace. You don't need to do all the actual steps ? There is a bunch of those where I didn't give a "correct" answer and my hair is grey.
Note: When Geppetto asks if he's been a trustworthy father, you don't have to say yes to get the Rise of P ending. Just got it saying no to him.

As a note it is possible to get the Lies of P ending with answering Simon wrong. Just got it without needing to redo the whole playthrough. Very happy honestly lol
I just finished my first playthrough and I like to go blindly on my first run in these types of games and got rise of P ending too while telling Simon that I gave her peace so….I don’t know why these guides are making this point so crucial
@@khalidsnow5611 Same I was happy to find out I had accidentally stumbled onto the true ending without trying since my hair turned grey and I had answered, up to that point, everything correctly. I think its more of they're not 100% sure of what causes the ending since it's still a new game.

@@AGD_27 Same I had to do another play through for my final ending anyway and got it well before the choice of letting Sophia live. I think it is easier in NG+ for some reason? Soon as I got it ran over to the traitor and got my final two boss weapons. Was saving the final boss' souls just in case I managed it before the final bosses. Those accessories were tempting lol

The Rise of Pinnochio is one long challenge. Don’t know if that would make us feel better or not. I mean let’s face, lying hurts far worse than telling the truth, with that, we learn how the characters reacts and feel as if we were in that position. I would be interested to try all paths, the pinnochio path, the George Washington path, and just a basic straight forward one. See how I understand the game.
The reason for lying isn’t to feel what they feel it’s because it’s a human thing to do. Lie. Everytime we lie we appear more human. The character doesn’t lie because he WANTS to feel what they feel , it’s because he already knows what they feel so when we (the character) choose to lie , it’s us showing our humanity. If you never lie and always tell the truth then your just doing as your told , like a puppet. But what’s this about a George Washington path lol

I had to finish it four times , this reminds me of how painful it was getting the mafia 3 platinum that game was easy but I had to finish it 6 or 7 times just to get a broken trophy
I did a lot of things differently here and got the rise of P ending. It felt more humane to tell Eugenie about her brother, even thought it was difficult for her, I also told her that he didn't like the gloves. I told simon he's making monsters. I told Geppeto no, I brought Alidoro to the Hotel. I told Arlecchino that I am a puppet and I said that I am a Killer (my conscience started to get to me here). I also told Venigni that the message mentioned Geppeto...I liked this game, I constantly found myself asking what is the humane thing to do, something I feel like RDR2 was only able to challenge me to do till this point.
I just answered mostly on gut and got the rise of p ending on my first playthrough

no there's some leeway, but it depends on how much you've missed.
Basically lie on one playthrough and tell the truth on the second, then on the third just choose the option you didn't initially choose

It's actually very possible to get level 4 humanity if you try to get "rise of p ending" (i did at least) here's what i did (SPOILER ALERT)
-lied to the woman in chapter 2
-lied to all the riddles on the phones
-lied to the atoned (used stalker's promise, can obtain it by killing survivor in chapter 3)
-did not do the side quest in chapter 4
-told the truth to alidoro about where hotel krat was
-lied to julian's side quest in chapter 6
-lied to antonia saying "of course" after defeating king of puppets
-showed polendina the ring (can only do this if you did julian's side quest)
-talked to belle in chapter 7 (need this to lie about atkinson's death)
-lied to simon after defeating champion victor in chapter 7
-got the cure and used it for antonia
-lied to eugenie saying that alidoro liked the gloves
-played the piano after finishing chapter 8
-lied to venigni about the recording (listened to the message again by talking to venigni and obtaining the recording)
-told the truth to eugenie that the real alidoro was her brother (if you talked to her again you will gain humanity)
-listened to the records "Feel," "Someday," "Why," "Memory of Beach," and "Proposal, Flower, Wolf Part 1)
-interacted with all of the memories at the beginning of chapter 11
if you got everything right, then by the time you talked to king of riddles and said human you should get level 4.
When playing, I had no desire to make P a human. I always thought he should have stayed a puppet but have free will and be good. Almost like the opposite of the evil riddle guy who thought puppets are humans but was evil

I just made a run only to get the free from the strings. Never lied, no contact with other people. Just straight to the point. Chose to let sophia live, told manus I freed her and when got to geppetto I only got prompted with GIVE HEART. WAT? anybody knows? I literally missed my entire run
Yeah im not sure but on a video i saw, the player also got one prompt. Did your P still have the short hair? Mine had long hair and i got both prompts. I suppose you must attain a certain level of humanity so that you are not a complete puppet and have the choice.
@@thehater6189 It was NG+ so I could choose hair, but never got transformed during the run. I guess the thing is to have more interaction and tell the truth. That other run I wen straight to the point with 0 interaction. Last time I did the doll baby, eugenie gloves quest and told antonia she was ugly basically. Also picked the portrait from brotherhood place and check all the time the wood nose was not there. Then I managed to get prompted and get the ending
@@Masi7 interesting. I just finished my first playthrough and did most of the side quests, it would seem. I missed the baby one completely somehow. I thought i was pretty thorough. I guess in order to even have a choice, you must do the bare minimum interaction. That way, if someone just blazes through it, they are locked into the bad ending

I'll be honest, I did pretty much everything like this during my 1st playthrough, biggest difference was that I didn't do the last call nor I unlocked the last door with the trinity key, I guess that if you don't do at least one of these 2 you won't get the Rise of P ending 'cause in terms of warmth and all I was perfectly fine but for some reasons the hair didn't change color. A real shame.
I do believe that it is not necessary lie all the time. Like, for example - dont make any sense fight against the atoned, lie to eugenie and say yes to geppeto. from the moment you reach the long hair you are close to be human at the point you resume the suffering of sophia.
for queast 19 you guys need to finish all voice lines of venini before fighting the three brothers or you will have to wait untill killing laxasia to here romio's message
Dang it, i lied throughout the whole game and got enough humanity, let sofia live, but chose gave my heart. Missed the fight with nameless and real rise of p ending. Couldn't even back up save on the series x. Don't feel like doing ng+ all over again :(... if anything should leave real boy ending as very last as ng+ boss fight difficulty ramps up..

To get the "Free From Puppet Strings" ending you can do whatever you want (including lie on everything) as long as you answer with "Let Her Live" when talking to Sophia after the Luxasia boss and picking the "Refuse" option when talking to Geppetto after the Simon Manus boss.

However, if you pick the "Let Her Live" option, you will block out the "Rise Of P" ending, making sure that no matter what you do you will get the "Free From The Puppet Strings" ending (as long as you "Refuse" at the end). You can also get this ending by selecting "Give Her Peace" but you risk getting the "Rise Of P" ending if you have very high humanity at the time of doing this.

You can actually get the pounding heart before you give Sophia peace. You need every small side quest, every lie and you must listen to every vinyl except that one of Sophia and you have a pounding heart before that event occurs.
For those that care I didn't do all of these steps and still got the Grey hair so don't fret I started watching this video late.

For Gaining Humanity #3, give the Stalker's greeting, that's a lie. You will get "Ergo is whispering" message that way. Doing nothing is the truth. Don't use that.

Just a heads up, it wouldn’t let me go to Krat central station after Ch.9 so I figured it would just loop around, which it did. But because of that I hadn’t progressed the video any further and ended up killing Belle’s partner. He’s a damn monster for gods sakes. Not sure if these are out of order right there but you definitely run into Belle’s partner before you can answer the phone after Ch.9. There’s no way to get back there. Can’t warp there and can’t go out the front door of the Hotel.
I’m on ng+ 2 and I have gotten my humanity to max by the end of the Simon fight by lying to him. I gave Sophia peace already but still didn’t get the rise of p ending. Please help. Hi i didnt finished the video but you did the secondary quest bringing the broken pupet to that woman in chapter 2 and now you went from malum district to chapter vi without talking to the old woman for the wine can you answer becouse you did this video for the players, my questione Is did i gain humanity from the wine quest' or not ? thx for the guide. just fucked it up once my hair didnt turn grey in ng+3. kinda weird. i gave antonia the cure but didnt get any cutszene with her, also i didnt get to answer to vengini about the whoever caused the puppet frenzy thing. is there a chance that some of the stuff carries over into ng+ and you cant get some lie options anymore? on that note - i also didnt get to do the cecile quest. But on my ng run i also didnt do that and my hair turned grey. I feel there are some really specific trigger which dont seem to be discovered yet

Is there a humanity requirement for the Free from Strings ending? I just did a speedrun, without talking to characters nor listening to records or doing anything. I let Sophia live then when I reached Geppetto at the very end and he asks for your heart, THE ONLY OPTION WAS TO GIVE IT TO HIM. The "refuse" option was not available so I'm confused about what exactly I am supposed to do to get that ending.

Late response but I got the free from strings ending by lying a lot, I just didn't give Sophia peace (I llet her live thinking I could save her later) and refusing to give Gepetto the heart. So even with a lying play though you can still seem to get it

You just need to reach a CERTAIN level of humanity, full humanity gives you the golden lie weapon (interact with the painting at the hotel)

I went to hotel krat to play the record dropped from Antonia and it displayed for me. Before that I still had "You Feel Warmth" Ps' hair is grey now so hopefully I get this ending and not "free from the puppet strings" ending again.
How do you know if you have enough humanity? Is the ONLY requirement that the thing has to say “You feel warmth”? Or is there more to it? Once i’m warm am I good?

Can someone who is 100% sure tell me how much humanity do I need for "Free from puppet strings" ending? I was following three different guides online that all said that you should ONLY tell the truth the whole game and when I reached Geppeto the Refuse option wasn't there. (which makes sense lore-wise, because you're a puppet with no free will) and all these guides were wrong. Should I get just enough for the first stage of transformation and just not get white hair? If I get white hair will I miss it?

Incase it helps others: I was stressing about this too. If you pray at the statue and make an effort to get records, you can max out humanity, get the golden lie weapon, and still not get white hair by letting Sophia live, then refuse Geppeto and you get free from paper strings.
