Thanks for the video ^^, I've got a question I did not see answered here or on the wiki, when you finish the game since you can continue on your same playthrough after getting an ending, can you for example choose the real boy ending (and not fight nameless) and then after the credit go back to the abyss and choose either free from the puppet strings / rise of P while fighting nameless this time ? Or are you locked into one ending for one playthrough ?
My boyfriend just started NG+ and people are either agreeing with us saying they’re insanely difficult or they’re saying ‘I had no issues’ sorta vibe. Why are the early game bosses so tanky, has anyone found a stat yet for how much health/damage bosses get now? He just doesn’t seem to be dying within a couple of blows and he’s still fighting the Scrapped Watchman (even though he’s using a maxed out two dragon sword) Can anyone help??
also you can access the tree with the golden coins... i wonder what you need the statue for, wenn you have the same functionalities with the tree in the first place?
I was missing starter weapons that I couldn’t buy at the end so I couldn’t collect all normal weapons (short by 1) . I was missing gestures and I have to start a whole new game again (pray) note wasn’t there when I went back later in the game
While I love the game I feel the devs were a little lazy with new game +. Just boosting enemies health and damage and not giving them any new attacks, introducing enemies only found in new game + or even just changing up what enemies spawn where is extremely underwhelming. Hell, even the loot you find in your first run is still the same loot found in the same chest on new game +, so your reward for a quest is the same outfit you got in your first run you already own. And where bosses were hard because they were challenging in your first run in new game + bosses are only hard because of how tedious it is to whittle down their ridiculous health bar.
After the final boss, i clicked on NG+ on accident not knowing you can get achievements. Not sure if going through that hell again for those is worth it.
The Swamp Monster and some chapters (6-7) is a pain so keep that in mind when you have around +200,000 ergo; I had 381,000 but went to 81,000 due to the chapters I’ve mentioned.

Heres my tip use the ageis shield strat Hold legion arm block and repeatly press the block button during phase keep doing this till his weapon breaks. So in phase 2 his weapon remains broken dealing far less damage
It's mindblowing to me that you lose unused blades/hilts going into NG+, effectively denying you any freedom to experiment with all the movesets you just spent the entire first playthrough collecting unless you already committed to building weapons with those parts prior ... this game was a total 10/10 for me before but that notion really tarnishes the overall enjoyment of a second playthrough ... taking away the majority of your repertoire in a game where the main gimmick revolves around experimenting with a variety of hilts & blades to customize your moveset & playstyle is, without a shadow of a doubt, the absolute dumbest design decision I have ever witnessed in any video game
@@gavinmcphie6936 Apologies, I originally meant to write "blades and hilts". I finished NG+4 and im pretty sure the scalling is way more than 8% cause it seems like the enemies are just waaay too tanky and deals way too much damage, I have pretty much every stat sitting around 40-50 and i still get 2 tapped by laxasia
She is a tank on ng+ 😢
Well it’s 64% yeah
I'm struggling on my first playthrough so this is gonna be ROUGH
Pretty sure the difficulty scales only in new game plus 1 and maybe 2, cause after that it’s just been about the same difficulty. It wouldn’t be fair if they continued to scale meanwhile you get hit with soft/hard caps for leveling up.
Also you should try and give other stats more, I have 100 capacity and vitality, technique and motivity are at 70, advanced is at 12 and vigor is at 35-40. Keeping them all balanced(especially vigor) doesn’t benefit you too much
@@basedbasil9261 you def correct you wanna focus more on or the other and you need to find a weapon that suits your style and be careful with handles and blades you really need to make there main attribute match.
Like slash weapon with slash hilt and blunt weapon with a slash hilt is better then poke like booster glaive handle pipe wrench for motivity im at 30 for motivity 25 tech and the rest are not great honestly there ain’t much great damaging weapons for either dex or strength but make a proper build first
Bosses in NG+ are an absolute nightmare. :)
Thanks for the tip. Nothing about New Game+ is appealing to me. They should have New Game+ 0 where enemies don’t change.
No they shouldn't, the game would get too easy. @@fogstorm5531
Are you able to get an entirely new p organ? Or do you keep the one you picked at the beginning of your first game? Those stats you can't respec even if you find the statue
U can respect everything at the golden tree. Legion arms, p organ, levels.
@gregorybarrera8719 so I'm aware you can respect the p organ you have but I wasn't aware you could change yhe p organ you started with at the beginning.
When you pick your path (Cricket, Bastard, Sweeper) you have base stats that can't be changed no matter what. I was hoping to be able to pick a different path this time around. That is not the case.
@triplezeroxz5875 it's not like it's a huge change. Really, once you're going through ng+, you can fill in the gap yourself.

That fury block is gonna be so good I’m on my first new game plus rn but I’ll try to finish the game for that p organ ability
I finished it and accidentally pressed new game and lost everything can it be fixed?
My boyfriend just started NG+ and people are either agreeing with us saying they’re insanely difficult or they’re saying ‘I had no issues’ sorta vibe.
Why are the early game bosses so tanky, has anyone found a stat yet for how much health/damage bosses get now? He just doesn’t seem to be dying within a couple of blows and he’s still fighting the Scrapped Watchman (even though he’s using a maxed out two dragon sword)
Can anyone help??
Was his build centered around technique?
Is it better to farm ergo in end levels before starting ng+?
No you get way more and enough in ng+. I was level 80 when I started ng+ and finished at around level 180 after ng+ without farming anything
@@thomas4118that’s also cause around level 100 the ergo amount gets capped at 16,000 til 150

the choice at the end was so criptic that i immediately start new game plus and so didn’t get the sophia story achievement
also you can access the tree with the golden coins... i wonder what you need the statue for, wenn you have the same functionalities with the tree in the first place?
The resetting levels at the tree was added with the updates! So before the patch you had to go to the statue
It’s like NG+20 there that’s all you need to know
What about rare ergo (from bosses)? Should I use them all/exchange them with weapons before NG+? Or they carry on?
my first play through, i exchanged for all amulets, my second, all weapons.
Yes they do carry over but you still only get one of each item to purchase: One weapon & one amulet 🪬
Watching this after 100% the game lmao. Maybe i missed something

Nope, exactly the same.

Is there a way to respec earlier in NG? Or you have to wait til you unlock that part again?
You can respec immediately. The Saintess of Mercy stargazer stays accessible.

Hopefully it doesn’t mess up my Truth play through.
The gray hair in NG+ is just visual, you can change it back whenever you want

Update: You can still get the amulet or weapon if you saved the Boss Ergo after defeating The Nameless Puppet. However, you have to get to Alidoro.
Can you rebattle bosses in ng+? As in, fight them as many times as you want even after killing them
The simple answer is no. You do refight the bosses but it's once per playthrough. They don't respawn until the next NG cycle.
Do you get anything new after new game plus 2 or 3 ?
Ng+2 looks like the latest yoy get any new items

Same, I’ve played games like bloodborne on ng+ 5 to 6 and the enemies were just doing so much damage, it was just killing me too much. I wonder if they’ll add an option to choose the difficulty scale when starting ng+ again.
They only nerfed a couple bosses during their first phase other than that the game plays the same except in NG+ you loose more health 💀💀
In hotel Krat you can use the golden fruit coin tree to delevel why does nobody know this

use Throwables! they are crazy good in this game... especially those "Cannon Balls".
When a monster or bosses health bar get that white stagger edge around it, instead of doing a charged attack, just throw one of those balls and you can walk up and Visceral his ass.
I play through Game pass, so I don't have the Update yet

Hold legion arm block and repeatly press the block button during phase keep doing this till his weapon breaks. So in phase 2 his weapon remains broken dealing far less damage

I sold a lot of weapons in my first playthrough. Can I get them back in ng+?
What are you talking about? The weapons definitely carry over
@@gavinmcphie6936 Apologies, I originally meant to write "blades and hilts". You are correct, I do think you keep boss weapons and any weapons you've built... but unless I had a bugged file, any leftover unused blades/hilts disappear after the transfer which seems a little silly regardless, especially considering I was stockpiling them for that exact purpose (experimenting with everything on a fresh NG+)
@quinnabon u just got a corrupted file then
Not sure if you figured it out yet but they patched this issue.
BRO in souls game NG+ is always easier.. in Lies of P it gets way harder!!!

@@ronthorn3it’s not, I think it scales on new game plus 1 and maybe 2, but that’s it. Souls games are more gradual, while this game is immediate, but stops after the spike.
Haven't really noticed it being "harder". Enemies hit harder and have more HP but that's about it. If you're still trash at dodging/blocking/parrying, then that's your fault lol You should be importing your own personal skills to NG+. It's not like they gave the enemies new attack combos/moves and/or sped them up.
@FoNgThOnG Thats what i mean.
disagree fights i had problems with got easy, granted that's just cause i learned to abuse the ageis shield cheese strat XD
They should've scaled the NG+es better
We should not loose our lore items when we ng+.... doesnt make sense...its not going to make it unfair/imbalanced if we get to keep lore.
Having those items right away may brick or break a save game. It's not a big deal especially when most of those items rewarded are pretty much in your arsenal or effective right off the bat.
@@E0nW0lf none of those items will break a save game. Unless its things like keys, lore is absolutely useless in terms of gameplay mechanics. They are pure flavor.
Right off the bat? you mean right off a few hours of gameplay and finding them again. Well, we have the wiki, and now people are putting practically all the notes online, so I guess it doesnt matter....
It's the same way in every souls game, if your starting over why would they let keep them
@@Blackveil123 except we do keep the lore in souls games... what we wont keep is this key or whatever. Let's go back to keeping it simple and more fun for the players as buyers! Let's go back to when a person beat the game and redo a new game plus it gets better and easier!
I agree but they should make it an option. You should be able to choose to scale enemies harder, or keep them at base level

Did they patch the bosses health? I feel like NG+ is ridiculous and you do crap damage. That’s not good game design. It should be balanced. Bosses become sponges hit much harder and your character can’t do anything about it to get stronger???
Idk about you but I got smacked my first play through taking around 60 hours but in ng+ in like 3-4 hours I’m past king of puppets taking like 1-3 tries for every boss
I'm on my first NG+ run (currently curving my way to Shrek) , and I don't know if I've become crazy good at the game or what, but it feels significantly easier than it was before. I pretty much one-shot every boss fight, with the only exceptions being the archbishop and Romeo, which took two tries. But it's only because with the weaker ones, I got used to the fact that I can play recklessly and DPS them to death in a matter of seconds, lol.
New game plus stops after that first spike. All new games afterwards should be around the same while you get more and more ergo
