Beautiful bike. Japanese brands are having a very shy approach to retro bikes. I wish they increase the number of retro models and improve the value of this type of bikes. Royal Enfield sales figures show that many potential buyers are waiting for affordable and simple retro bikes in the 300/600 cc range.
Looks good, some will buy it since there is a lot of 250cc retro bike sold here like the rusi classic 250 or 200cc and above bikes like duke 200, xr200, and bajaj rouser 200. It might be good if they made one with the eliminator 450's engine for buyers of expressway legal bikes.
The W175 here in the Philippines is carbuerated which I won't buy. If this is FI, reasonably priced and comes to the Philippines I will definitely look at it. I have a Honda XRM 125 which is perfect 1 up but underpowered 2 up. I will keep my eyes open at my local dealer. Thanks for the review.
Call em' Neo-classic, cafe styled, or whatEVER you want to call them but this IS what a motorcycle was/has been for us older folks for a long/long time..... I had a Kz1000 for a brief period around 1981 & for that time it was a fast bike. Doing 125mph on her was like doing 160mph on todays but I digress. Old bikes had ample seat size for extra big arse's & I am one so I'm all about that long seat that a lady can slide up behind you & be comfy for a ride. Not at an angle that has her smashed in under you at the first tap of the brakes. The 1st bike I ever remember seeing up close was a Honda 750 four . It said that on a small metal piece on the side but hearing that bike scream was unbelievable to my 8-10 yr old ears. All those bikes had the look like this 230 you're showing except these will have suspensions/brakes & other things we never had back in the day.
Gosh the S1 looks so beautiful! I hope they release it in Indonesia, can be a nice big brother to my W175!

It's a shame it probably won't come to the US. It would look good next to my 2020 W800 in the garage 😍
W800 is way overpriced.
@@leeinwis Bought mine for $7200 out the door which is about what it should cost.
Very Nice Kawasaki W 230 😎🌞👍

It might be priced similar to the Kawasaki KLX230 since they share the same engine. 🤔
