Okay so have IOS 14.5 or later and a compatible device. Which option did you select for Find My Location Access? “Ask Next Time” or “While Using The App”. Also the iPhone needs to be within a certain range of the AirTag for precision finding to be available (not 100% sure what this is). If you are next to the AirTag and you are unable to see Nearby then let me know. One more thing Precision Finding does not work in certain countries.

Hi Vanessa unfortunately the precision finding feature is only available on the following: iPhone 11 iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max These phones have the U1 chip within them which is how the precision finding feature works.
@@HKUHD oh jesus. this is the first i'm hearing about this. this information is not advertised anywhere at all that i can find. i purchased the 4 pack and fear i've wasted my money. i have an iphone 7, as does my mother whom i purchased some of the tags for. we cannot afford the latest phones, but the precision directions is the whole point i got the devices...
nope. its the one thing EVERYBODY forgets to mention. iphone 11 and upwards only. i paid for four of these tags and cant use their primary and most attractive feature.
Yes I agree it’s annoying that not all the iPhones can use this feature. Yeah iPhone 11 and 12 models have the U1 chip which is what’s needed to make precision finding work.

hey. all of my settings were already correctly matched. i've reset the tag, my phone AND my internet but still cannot access the "find" tab.
It sounds like you are trying to pair your iPhone and AirTag. Open the find my app. Navigate to items > add new item and it should try and find it.

Unfortunately not its only available on all iPhone 11 and 12 models.
