Right on time, doctor! My 4 melancholy is making me dwell on the smallest mistake this morning. Thanks for the positive vibes.

Just to "yes, and" onto this video: some people are wired to be more sensitive to "small stuff." For example, autistic people are often very sensitive to their environment (textures, smells, sounds, bright lights, etc.). In addition, they are often labelled as "weird" or have challenges communicating with allistic people because of the "double-empathy problem." For people who find themselves in these situations, it's important not to "let go," but to actively work to find accommodations. (Perhaps in the form of a quiet office or work-from-home arrangement, doing groceries online to avoid the bright lights and loud sounds of the store, blocking off periods to allow for deep focus, communicating in written form instead of spoken, etc.) The more we can work to reduce the "small stuff" that's in our control, the more capacity we have to deal with the ones that aren't.

Absolutely! It's so important to recognize and accommodate those sensitivities. Finding strategies that work for individuals can make a big difference in their daily lives.
