From my understanding, when I was looking into Buddhism, when you die you aren't necessarily reborn into our current realm/place. There are different places you can end up. You live through that life/situation. Be reborn again. Repeat until you stop being reborn.
@ I find the concepts interesting and will look into what you have mentioned. But I have no inclination to pursue it for religious reasons. My appreciation for Buddhism is due to the efforts that one takes to get out of that cycle not necessarily what they are trying to avoid (rebirth). Working on acceptance, patience, etc.
Agree with most of what he says here. The only thing I disagree with is where he says when we die it’s important we leave a legacy. He may have not said important, but he speaks about leaving a legacy. I don’t believe any of us need to leave a legacy. And I don’t think it’s important that people talk about us after we die. We won’t be here to hear them so what difference does it make? My own personal view, death and dying is it doesn’t bother me that one day I will day. Don’t get me wrong I’m not in a rush to get there but as the man says it will be exactly as it was before we were born and that’s fine by me.

Maybe you can't prove a god exists, but can't you prove it evolved from ancient mythology going back to the Sumerians or earlier? Yaweh was once one of many gods in a pantheon. Ancient hebrew stories (some, if not most) were clearly fabricated and borrowed. I don't get how people can't see this.

What we know is that all forms of life is an assembly of atoms and molecules with each individual cast by a code in our DNA. Where did that code come from? The complexity of the code suggests a higher intelligence at work that our DNA hasn't provided us the ability to see. From my understanding, when I was looking into Buddhism, when you die you aren't necessarily reborn into our current realm/place. There are different places you can end up. You live through that life/situation. Be reborn again. Repeat until you stop being reborn.
Read the Larger Sutra (since you mentioned you are looking into Buddhism) if you want a way out of the cycle of rebirth (samsara).

Agree with most of what he says here. The only thing I disagree with is where he says when we die it’s important we leave a legacy. He may have not said important, but he speaks about leaving a legacy. I don’t believe any of us need to leave a legacy. And I don’t think it’s important that people talk about us after we die. We won’t be here to hear them so what difference does it make? My own personal view, death and dying is it doesn’t bother me that one day I will day. Don’t get me wrong I’m not in a rush to get there but as the man says it will be exactly as it was before we were born and that’s fine by me.

An "atheist" is therefore someone who insists God does not exist, but knows he cannot prove it, so he "wants his opinion recorded" by making it clear he is categorically denying God without having to prove it. In other words, the polar opposite of a zealot who categorically insists God exists without having to prove it. Furthermore, although "atheists" acknowledge that one cannot prove a negative, they would love to argue that we declare an exception in the case of Gods existence, because its just so gosh-darn obvious that He cant. If "atheists" could have a religion without being called out for doing so, it would be called trichomaism - from the Greek for "splitting hairs".
No. The two are not mutually exclusive. I am an agnostic atheist. I do not believe god exists, but i don't know. Gnostcism coveta knowlege, theism/atheism covers belief. Different category.

Here's the actual proof that God exists: a natural universe is virtually impossible. The reason for this is because everything is contained within it. Now it doesn't tell us what God exists, but it does tell us that we're not here because of an accident. What tells us that Jesus is the only one to represent God is the Resurrection event.
