The entire Deathless record is absolutely perfect. I'm glad to say I was the legit first person to pre-order it at the show at the Worcester Palladium, which I believe is the first place the pre-orders were available. I've already listened to the whole record front to back about 40-50 times by now and its still so fresh. This is the best band that nobody knows about. Hopefully these guys get the recognition they deserve, and they are starting to!
Nothing like being crammed uncomfortably into a small smelly space, driving thousands of miles, lugging heavy equipment around, rushing set up and tear down, and trying to perform well despite feeling like death all for little or no profit! The life.
As the lyrics say ''sacrificing ourselves upon this altar of sin'', that metaphor represents what you said. But I met Brett (bass) after a show in London and he was such a cool guy and he was just having a blast. I mean, it's not easy life but they love what they do and they don't do it to be famous; they do it because they would rather be doing nothing else but playing metal!
Saw they in Osnabrück on the 9th and talked with Dan.He is a very cool guy and I am going to see them on the 29th in Bochum, too.Hope to hang up with them all after the gig, that would be very nice.My absolutly favourite band, maybe I am there biggest fan.Love them sooo much. REVOCATION!!!
MAYHEM SHIRT IN THE BEGINNING THEN THE SONG STARTS WOULD WITH A HELLA NECRO SOUNDING RIFF AM I JUST BAKED ASF OR IS THIS GOLLD, wait fuck this is my mums account
Justyn Fogarty Where did you hear about the recovery state? I'm going to see them in December and I really want to know if Phil will make it. He fucking rips.
What? No roadies, no bus, no airplane, no groupies, no lighting dude, no sound person, no merch chick, no nothin!? NO NEED! Brilliant album and kick ass performances. You're my heroes haha!
Funny how I heard of this band. Reading a troll's comments on a Suicidal Tendencies video. This idiot was slamming all these bands, like he was some major music critic. He mentions this band- called them a shitty "core" band Suddenly it dawned on me that person talked too much shit to be real. My intuition was right, these guys kick ass
Fuck, I'm so glad to have been a small part of this tour showing up to see you guys in Dallas at the Gas Monkey! I never heard of Revocation until I saw Havok was touring with them so I checked out their stuff 2 weeks before the show. These guys have since made a hard impact on my playing and perspective of music.
+zepknot that and honestly, when bands break out into clear vocals just kils it for me, I like the grungy growls of death-metal if i didn't I'd listen to hard rock or thrash, or if i was gay; Metalcore.
+Anti Christ Really Come on grow the fuck up Classifying all Metalcore as gay due to the popular bands would be classifying all thrash as Talentless hacks which is not true
Michael Charvat where the fuck did you get thrash out of metalcore. secondly how in any way can you classify thrash as talentless when they've helped create sub-genres such as metalcore, metalcore is repetitive rifts, recycled lyrics throughout the bands in the genre and no sense of creative composure, and the one's who mostly listen to it are a bunch of needy emo fucks that get bullied, and because thats their fanbase, that's why they continue to come up with whiny vocals and same sad song and dance, all it is, is like a giant kick me sign towards the internet.
+Anti Christ Uhh Just want to clarify that Thrash did help create the sub genre of metal core. It is largely a Hardcore punk creation through the filter of metal. All the poor musicianship of punk through the awesome filter of metal. I also want to point out you're not hearing auto tune on his voice. That's pre-recorded harmonies which often come off as auto-tune. Auto tune is far more robotic. Now, 95% of vocalist have some sort of pitch correction applied in the studio even if they do not know it. The entire point of recording an album is to get a perfect version of a song so an engineer will use it to fix some parts. You can blame the technology or the lack of talent for the overuse of auto tune but in reality its the music industries. I guarantee if artists were allowed all the time they needed to work on an album then they could afford the time required to take the hundreds and hundreds of takes to make it -perfect- but when your label says, "Hey guys we need an album in like 6 months. Get it going." Then they're kind of SOL.
You'd be surprised how many "successful" bands are still using vans as transportation. Renting/buying buses is stupid expensive. And the way the music market is these days - with streaming/illegal downloads - record labels aren't shelling out the money like they used to.
lethalbydefault I'll sleep in a van every day if it meant doing what I love...Even though I may sleep in a comfortable bed at night, I'm still stuck out here scraping by working these bullshit jobs to make a living, in the end it all goes to bills and I remain unsatisfied...Music is my passion, I envy and applaud these guys...They should get a twin bed or a blow up mattress and stuff it in that van though ;)
you have no idea besides life on the road as a musician is awesome they get to do everything the common man dreams of groupies, beer, and barbecues. They also live the dream of rock and metal fans getting to tour with bands they like and meeting awesome people at the festivals
Really like this band and the song is good but the video could have been a lot better. I know the song and video match well but the footage could have been shot and edited a LOT better than this.

Cause when you love what you're doing and you believe in it, nothing stops you.

They couldn't this tour cuz Phil's arm was broken for almost every show sadly. He's almost fully recovered though.
Justyn Fogarty Where did you hear about the recovery state? I'm going to see them in December and I really want to know if Phil will make it. He fucking rips.
I heard about it on instagram or in an interview probably
Charn formally of JFAC was filling in when I saw them at the end of September

Fits well with the lyrics of the song! I like it! :)

Yeah, still don't like the new album.
Pack it up guys. We clearly didn't meet this kids musical expectation.
Great track,seriously mundane video.
Might as well just watch them eat the entire time.
