- This is the first time that our friend, Jacques Pantazes, has shared stories about his time working at Patou with Master Perfumer, Jean Kerleo, founder of the Osmotheque. I think you'll enjoy it.
I put on a video of yours whilst I'm smelling and blending, and suddenly the world doesnt seem so disparate and cold.
I went from living a hectic lifestyle working in the music industry, to falling chronically ill in 2022.
I lost so much that I held dear to me, including my health, my job, my independence, my relationship...
Bedridden most days and full of immune reactions and despair, i started looking up how to make perfume that doesnt break me out in hives. The simple pleasure of smelling nice was the one thing tethering me to this plane of existence, at this point.
Well, one thing led to another, the rabbit hole widened, and now i am embarking on a new journey into the world of perfumery. It is compatible with my current level of disability. It is slow. It regulates my nervous system. I have to take deep breaths. You are forced to take breaks.
The one thing people don't talk about is how damn isolating being sick is. But your channel and personability helped me a lot. I dont feel as alone. Thank you

Hey Sarah! ... in one of your older videos you mentioned a "tool" where you can test a formular if it is IFRA compliant. Please, can you share the name of this tool? Thanks a lot!
It's called Perfumer's Little Helper buy you won't find it online as we keep it for people we know. We're working on integrating the new EU Allergen list then it will be ready to share again.

There are so many wonderful new perfumes though. Such is life.
