Great reaction, Mago de Oz is an awesome band, and this song is amazing. I want to suggest you another great band from Spain: Saratoga (You saw Leo Jiménez singing in "La cantata del Diablo as a guest singer") The song is called: "Charlie se fue" (Inspirated in Charlie Parker's memory)
Galicia is the northwestern region of Spain, one of the old hubs of celtic culture. In the Irish "Book of invasions" it is stated that their ancestors reached the island sailing off Galicia. The bagpipes are an identity mark in both places.
Oh my friend, I just remembered a song you might like: "Irlandalusi" (irish andalousian) by the band "Celtas Cortos", mixing up celtic and flamenco styles. Check it out, whether you react or not.
🤘 Yeah!! A personal taste, I like the Barakaldo-DF concert much more, speaking of this song. José Andrea is on lead vocals; Pati Tapia and Toni Menguiano. Listen to it and tell me.
If you liked this version, you will enjoy much more the original version, in which Leo Jiménez (the same one who starts in your video, Who at that time was the voice of Saratoga), José Andrea (the original voice of the Mago de Oz), and Víctor Garcia (guest of Warcry, one of the best metal bands in Spain) participated. It's a shame that there isn't a quality live video of that version
This is the original version, unfortunately this compilation only exists from recordings of the public, with cell phones from 2006: ua-cam.com/video/MvyM0Eg7B9U/v-deo.htmlsi=q_eDOJCmlleMdNXZ

There is so much awesome music that I have been learning about that comes out of Spain, I have been really enjoying all the incredible stuff I have heard and I'm looking forward to hearing more!!!!
Pretty famous in spain. Wizard of Oz is the translated name. They play medieval heavy. Theyve been playing for a few decades now. My favourite records are "La leyenda de la mancha" and the double cd "Finisterra". Lyrics arent incredible and i dont think theyre incredible musicians but theyre quite OK and as you can see, the setup on the scene is really cool. Worth paying to go and see them.
yeah, spanish people and even more their musicians love their roots. And their roots are really deep and wide. They have history till the beggining of owr species and have been mixed with most cultures and conserve bits from each and every one of them. What you hear here is mostly from the north with was preroman and after was mainly celtic. So you can feel the influence of that music. If you go to the south you may found some more midle eastern influence as that part was the one wich took the longest to reconquer from them and still left a lot of influences there, from vocabulary to instruments and traditions.
Mago was one of my top drawer bands while growing up. Their most iconic song would be “fiesta pagana”, became became king of psalm against cristianity(well, more against the church). “La Costa del silencio” is also very emotive, since it was created after an oil tanker shipwrecked and created a huge natural disaster in Galicia. Also, if you want to react to folkloric instruments integration with rock, you should go further east and check with basque countries music(with noticeable Celt influence)… Huntza’s “Aldapan Gora” is a good one. And the other band I listened more than Mago de Oz, Su Ta Gar… not folkloric instruments here, but very good musicians. Check “Gau iluna amaitu da”, one of my favorites, from the live tour “20 urte” (20 years) in 2009… but any pick is a good one with this band…jaiotze basatia, haika mutil, begira….
I can see why they are so popular and they have an incredible live show! I have been enjoying learning about all the music that comes out of Spain! Thank you for the suggestions I really appreciate it, I will check them out!
There are bagpipes in many places in europe, there are many documentation that the romans had instruments with bags and pipes coming from that, in the trajan column there is a scuptule of that. So basicaly in every country that the roman empire went we have some diferent kind of bagpipe, i play the sac the gemecs, a catalan version, and in spain there are many kinds.
This is because in parts of.Spain they are also celtics. That is why they have bagpipes, and. dances like the Irish. The Mago de Oz are.from Spain, but this show is in Mexico. The theme or.plot is usually the celtic paganism and when Christianism comes the struggle or fight against them.
The studio version is the best because it has all the original voices involved in it. The experience is totally different. And on my channel this year I was able to get all the parts from the only time they sang that song live at the time with the original voices and that it was being recorded, but because on the day of the concert there was a blackout throughout Madrid, Spain, all the material was lost. The context of the original song recorded live in 2006 is interesting.
Three suggestions about rare mixes of pop spanish music: "Finisterre & panaderas de pan duro, with Vetusta Morla"; "Tiny Desk of C. Tangana", complet are 4 amazing songs with friends; "Pájaros de Barro, in acoustic of Manolo Garcia", or same thing of "Tanxugueiras"...

Hi buddy: Yesterday I saw this reaction video of La Cantata del Diablo. A song by Mago de Oz, a great band from my country, Spain. Honestly, I didn't know your Channel, but I've seen that you've reacted to quite a few topics from Spain, and that caught my attention because it's not usual for there to be reaction channels for those who are interested in discovering new music, beyond the recommendations of the YT algorithm. As you say, recommendations from real people are better. Since I have noticed your interest, I have allowed myself to translate the song into English and leave it here so you can know its essence. And, to recommend a song from another band, it would be the following: Autorretrato by the band Extremoduro, the band to which Robe belonged before breaking up. My recommendation is the studio version, where you can listen as this song grows, grows and grows as musical arrangements are added until they end up building it completely. I leave you the link and below the translation of Wizard of Oz.
Hi there. I'm Spanish, from Madrid. I've got a recomendation for you. Similar, but different, and older than them. The name of the band is " Celtas Cortos" I'm sure you'll enjoy
Thank you for the suggestion I really appreciate it!!! They are an incredible band I am looking forward to hearing more and learning more about them!!!
This is the pray at the end of the song: Our Father, of all of us Of the poor, of the homeless Of the marginalized and the unprotected Of the disinherited and the owners of misery Of those who follow you and of those who in you, we no longer believe Come down from the heavens Well here is Hell Come down from your throne Well here there are wars, hunger, injustices You don't have to be one and three With only one who wants to help It would be enough for us What is your kingdom? The Vatican? The banks? High Politics? Our kingdom is Nigeria, Ethiopia, Colombia, Hiroshima Our daily bread is rape Gender violence Pedophilia, dictatorships Climate change I fall into temptation daily There is no tomorrow in which I am not tempted to create a humble, just God A God who is on earth In the valleys, the rivers A God who lives in the rain What a journey through the wind And caress our soul A God of the sad, of homosexuals A more human God A God who does not punish, who teaches A God who does not threaten, who protects That if I fall, I get up That if I get lost, give me your hand A God who if I make a mistake, doesn't blame me And if I doubt, understand me Well, for that he gave me intelligence To doubt everything Our Father, of all of us Why have you forgotten us? Our Father, blind deaf and unemployed Why have you abandoned us?

I want to suggest you another great band from Spain:
Saratoga
(You saw Leo Jiménez singing in "La cantata del Diablo as a guest singer")
The song is called:
"Charlie se fue"
(Inspirated in Charlie Parker's memory)
Absolutely awesome indeed! Thank you for the info I really appreciate it, I am looking forward to hearing and learning more about them!!!
Thank you very much I really appreciate it! This was an awesome piece I look forward to checking out more from them!
Thank you for the suggestion I will have to check that out! I believe I have heard of the band Warcry I will have to check them out as well! There is so much awesome music that I have been learning about that comes out of Spain, I have been really enjoying all the incredible stuff I have heard and I'm looking forward to hearing more!!!!
Holly shit we found him, its Tallahassee
Pretty famous in spain. Wizard of Oz is the translated name. They play medieval heavy. Theyve been playing for a few decades now. My favourite records are "La leyenda de la mancha" and the double cd "Finisterra". Lyrics arent incredible and i dont think theyre incredible musicians but theyre quite OK and as you can see, the setup on the scene is really cool. Worth paying to go and see them.
I really enjoyed them in this and I am looking forward to hearing more from them!
yeah, spanish people and even more their musicians love their roots.
It is some incredible stuff for sure and I am looking forward to hearing more!
I strongly recommend you to check the early stages of this band.
Yeah I've been hearing that from a lot of folks, I'm going to have to check out the original for sure!
🤘🔥🤘
That was Leo Jimenez!! Gotta listen to Stravaganzza

Hello friend, I see that you liked Mägo de oz, as you know in Spain we also have Celtic roots, the Spanish were formerly known as Celtiberos, if you liked this band, I recommend that you listen to and react to the Spanish band Salduie, you will love it I recommend the song Imbloc or the song Bosnerau, greetings from Valencia, Spain, by the way I have subscribed to your channel and said like, now I will take the opportunity to see little by little all your videos, greetings.

Pure folk metal
Check out Heroes del Silencio another rock band from Spain 🤘😎🤘
This song is about the encounter of the aborigins in america whith the catholic religion. It's a master piece.

That sounds pretty incredible I will have to check that out! Thank you for the suggestion I really appreciate it!
Such a deep rich history that has had a big influence on the music coming from there, its truly some very incredible music and I'm looking forward to hearing more!
@@TheKillogicEffect check-out the song satania with some lyrics and watch how they predicted today's present about the relation of the human and technology
Man the bear man is Leo Jimenez, one of the best metal singer of the world.
Their bagpipes are.different from.Scotland but at the same time similar, the same with the dances. Look for celtic music from Spain.
Hi buddy:
Yesterday I saw this reaction video of La Cantata del Diablo.

Absolutely!!! Luckily a commenter posted the lyrics!
Reaction to Triana, song “En el Lago”
Hi there.
I'm Spanish, from Madrid.
I've got a recomendation for you.
Similar, but different, and older than them.
The name of the band is
" Celtas Cortos"
I'm sure you'll enjoy
Felicidades react to van a rodar cabezas live video u gonna like it makes you bkow your mind

Thank you for the suggestion I really appreciate it!!! They are an incredible band I am looking forward to hearing more and learning more about them!!!
This is the pray at the end of the song:
Our Father, of all of us
Of the poor, of the homeless
Of the marginalized and the unprotected
Of the disinherited and the owners of misery
Of those who follow you and of those who in you, we no longer believe
Come down from the heavens
Well here is Hell
Come down from your throne
Well here there are wars, hunger, injustices
You don't have to be one and three
With only one who wants to help
It would be enough for us
What is your kingdom? The Vatican?
The banks? High Politics?
Our kingdom is Nigeria, Ethiopia, Colombia, Hiroshima
Our daily bread is rape
Gender violence
Pedophilia, dictatorships
Climate change
I fall into temptation daily
There is no tomorrow in which I am not tempted to create a humble, just God
A God who is on earth
In the valleys, the rivers
A God who lives in the rain
What a journey through the wind
And caress our soul
A God of the sad, of homosexuals
A more human God
A God who does not punish, who teaches
A God who does not threaten, who protects
That if I fall, I get up
That if I get lost, give me your hand
A God who if I make a mistake, doesn't blame me
And if I doubt, understand me
Well, for that he gave me intelligence
To doubt everything
Our Father, of all of us
Why have you forgotten us?
Our Father, blind deaf and unemployed
Why have you abandoned us?
Thank you for the info I will have to do that!!!

SENCILLAMENTE POR QUE ES MEJOR QUE LA ORIGINAL @@thehedobanshow744
I miss José Andrea, was the best singer.
Understandable but it was still a great example of some of the incredible music that comes out of Spain!
u need try the same song but the disc version not live this is nice because the orquest an the other singers but on the level of the voices are not the bes quality
Do you have anything you would recommend?
Hit and a miss, man🤣 This is milennial fodder, popular and that, but It is post 2000. Call me close minded...
Ñu: No hay ningún loco. Un poco mas viejos jejjejjejee
