Yes there are times like Larry has said you can hear Lucy taking a breath or her voice crack just ever so slightly. If they were going to fix her voice they would take those anomalies out.
I agree but other sites with sound engineers show her voice using voice analysis' software and you can see it on the graphs. She is the best I have heard since 1969 with Linda Ronstadt better trained voice certainly and a different style of music but range power breath support and infusing emotions into the song I consider them about the same. And she is better without it those minute variations all voices naturally have are what makes them individual even if you don't consciously hear it.

Does the software match the processor they are using or is it just some off the self software. Do believe everything you are told. These guys are just out for clicks.

Autotune is used throughout the whole piece where pitch A440 software snaps any sharp or flat notes to the standard line. Pitch Correction is applied by the engineer to any single note manually. Lucy is a classically trained singer and some serious music critics gave her was a 5 star rating for her two and a half hour London concert. I think these guys would instinctively know if Autotune was being utilised. There are going to be some commentators here who were lucky enough to have attended Lucy's concert and will say the whole experience was absolutely magical. I don't think Chtris Broom would even consider tampering with such a wonderful vocal performances.
A lovely performance from Lucy. With a stunning voice that is continuing to get richer she often sounds several years older than she is, but to my ears this is one of those performances when she does sound like a 20/21 year old, albeit with superstar qualities.

Nope. Could 95 out of 100 listeners even tell the difference from the original? Probably not. Hello Larry. Here is my take on the Autotune/pitch correction issue. Please don’t take this personally. I always look forward to your reactions. No one with any real expertise can answer that question unless it is the person that has actually done the work. So I think it would benefit us all to just drop the subject. Unless of course someone wants to say that Lucy really isn’t as beautiful as she seems because she wears a mask that causes her to look better than reality. We could go down that road. It best in my opinion just to drop the subject. Mainly because both of those issues are subjective opinions. Yes this song was submitted with Lucy doing the vocals to the UK writers organization. This continued bleating about Autotune, is often aimed at Lucy by some distractors who insist she can't perform to such a phenomenal standard. However it's been known that its been used on other vocalists who have a basic struggle throughout a song to hold a note that would be a nightmare to manually Pitch Correct. Autotune is sometimes used in live performances but it's risky since it has be known to misinterpret when the vocalist misses a note beyond the half sharp or flat and the software corrects it to one complete note above or below, which is a disaster for the performer. Several well known artist have suffered such a problem -- Michael Bublé being one of them, who should have kept well away from such nonsense, as if HE needed any help?!!! Lucy recently received a 5 star accolade from a musical critic Jeremy Chapman, when he was present at her Theatre Royal Drury Lane concert in London. Who described Lucy as a once in a lifetime vocalist. Lucy is, after all a classically trained vocalist and I would imagine her vocal coach Carolyn Hudson must be so proud of her. I don't know if this is autotuned / pitch corrected , i leave that to the experts .But I'm curious about her lips movement not being in sync at just 10 seconds in, she says the word " time " . With her lips coming together a little late, but this is a official music video so she's probably Lip syncing to a pre recorded track which is the industry standard.No doubt she has a great voice and i hope this hasn't been manipulated in any way . Unfortunately Autotune/ pitch correction seems to be the industry standard these days.
What is the point of these endless comments about pitch correction, lip synching, and various other audio tricks of the trade? As you say, they are commonplace in the music business. Everybody has access to these tools and uses them to some extent. If used judiciously, they can fix minor flaws in a recording. But they can’t make a mediocre singer sound great. Used improperly, they can make any singer sound like a robot. It is not a badge of honor to produce music videos that don’t try to look and sound as good as possible. With or without studio tools, Lucy sounds better to me than anyone else on the scene. Stop trying to call “foul” and just enjoy the music. Or don’t and listen to whatever singer you prefer.

Hello Larry. Here is my take on the Autotune/pitch correction issue. Please don’t take this personally. I always look forward to your reactions. No one with any real expertise can answer that question unless it is the person that has actually done the work. So I think it would benefit us all to just drop the subject. Unless of course someone wants to say that Lucy really isn’t as beautiful as she seems because she wears a mask that causes her to look better than reality. We could go down that road. It best in my opinion just to drop the subject. Mainly because both of those issues are subjective opinions. Yes this song was submitted with Lucy doing the vocals to the UK writers organization. My understanding is that the song won the best love song category. Then a few days later it won the best overall category.
Fo me personally Lucy will be considered one of the best vocalist of all time and there are some bad actors out there that don’t like that opinion. So they are trying their best to muddy the waters.

This continued bleating about Autotune, is often aimed at Lucy by some distractors who insist she can't perform to such a phenomenal standard. However it's been known that its been used on other vocalists who have a basic struggle throughout a song to hold a note that would be a nightmare to manually Pitch Correct. Autotune is sometimes used in live performances but it's risky since it has be known to misinterpret when the vocalist misses a note beyond the half sharp or flat and the software corrects it to one complete note above or below, which is a disaster for the performer. Several well known artist have suffered such a problem -- Michael Bublé being one of them, who should have kept well away from such nonsense, as if HE needed any help?!!!
Lucy recently received a 5 star accolade from a musical critic Jeremy Chapman, when he was present at her Theatre Royal Drury Lane concert in London. Who described Lucy as a once in a lifetime vocalist. Lucy is, after all a classically trained vocalist and I would imagine her vocal coach Carolyn Hudson must be so proud of her. So please Chris, less talk of Autotune with Lucy!!

Ok, listen.., I have a couple of very important questions asking those apparently high qualified music experts that are still turning non stop around auto running , auto pitching, auto matics and probably auto fried chicken machines.. And I expect precise answers, bitteschön.. What percentage you thing is the amount of cotton and/or fabrics in the very nice dress Lucy is wearing? Cause I’m not quite sure if it is 28,043% or just 28,042%, and also if you experts know if the cotton comes from Ceyland or Bangladesh.. But don’t answer us before the asteroid finally hits our Earth, please. In the mean time, the rest of us will peacefully keep enjoying Lucy’s amazing music videos, thank you. And good bye..🥴

I don't know if this is autotuned / pitch corrected , i leave that to the experts .But I'm curious about her lips movement not being in sync at just 10 seconds in, she says the word " time " . With her lips coming together a little late, but this is a official music video so she's probably Lip syncing to a pre recorded track which is the industry standard.No doubt she has a great voice and i hope this hasn't been manipulated in any way . Unfortunately Autotune/ pitch correction seems to be the industry standard these days.
The audio is recorded separately from the video but she is actually singing in the video also.
What is the point of these endless comments about pitch correction, lip synching, and various other audio tricks of the trade? As you say, they are commonplace in the music business. Everybody has access to these tools and uses them to some extent. If used judiciously, they can fix minor flaws in a recording. But they can’t make a mediocre singer sound great. Used improperly, they can make any singer sound like a robot. It is not a badge of honor to produce music videos that don’t try to look and sound as good as possible. With or without studio tools, Lucy sounds better to me than anyone else on the scene. Stop trying to call “foul” and just enjoy the music. Or don’t and listen to whatever singer you prefer.

Hello Chris, this has to be the worst reaction to any Lucy Thomas I have ever heard. All I seem to hear from you is Auto Tune, Auto Tune, Auto Tune, if you think they can use Auto Tune to improve Lucy's beautiful voice better than it is so be it. I do not give a Dam, & as for this award winning song it won the award for best song in the UK for 2024 because it was better than the5,000 other entrants, Barbara.
Hi Barbara I have agree I don´t know why Chris keeps doing this.There is an old reactor who said when someone mentioned this about Lucy. He said no amount of machinery could make a voice like that .She has real talent .This is a musician and also does mastering etc on recordings.

Hi Chris I really don´t know why you keep bringing up Autotune.Lucy does not use Autotune in fact is is hardly if ever used today.I have seen and heard Lucy Live and she is even better live .All you are doing by keeping on about it is to give the idiots a voice, the armchair sound engineers that have no idea what they are talking about many of them are trolls and are fans of others and don´t like the fact that Lucy is as good as she is.As you have said in the past there is no proof and listening or watching some clown on UA-cam with an app that is supposed showing pitch correction beggars belief that anyone could be that gullible .Lucy is that good.On to this song it is a beautiful song written by Chris and Lucy sings it perfectly She is the best of the best .I also remember you saying on one of your live shows that you thought Lucy was prrobably the best vocalist who had ever lived.

Pitch correction is used nowadays& has been used on at least some of Lucy's recordings such as "Have yourselves a merry little Christmas",though we know she dosen't need it from the quality of her live performances!.

Lucy is better than Dion, Streisand and Houston . Karen Carpenter had an amazing voice but I cant recall her ever doing the kind of power ballad that Lucy can sing. Lucy is far more versatile than the others. She is the best end of !!
Karen had a great voice,but I must agree that Lucy matches her for clarity etc,then adds an extra dimention of power to match anyone else I know!,in other words probably the finest vocalist around!.😊
