That final Kamehameha just gives me feel-goods in my body. And the way Goku's voice is breaking while powering up and delivering some blows, really lends itself to just how strong these two are, and how they're giving it all behind those punches. So good. Gives me the goosebumps. And that animation style, especially during that final blast, Naohiro Shintani did an awesome job. Reminds my 30-something year old self why I loved watching this on Toonami.
Broly seriously needs his own character arc. They actually did a good job with his remake and giving him some actual personality, turning him into another anti-villain like oldschool Vegeta would be incredible.

If you still see people saying something like ‘Super will never reach this level’ about old DB stuff, they probably haven’t watched this scene, or ingrate, blind, or just poor adults stuck in the past. Especially since you can see the effort and time put into the animation alone. Like, bro, there is a sense of respect about that. As an adult, you probably work hard to reach something, which coincidentally, that work may be motivated by your kids’ day by watching this show or else. By that, I feel you can just automatically appreciate it, acknowledging that it’s good enough to reach a certain level. A certain level that was made by someone you even think is stupid, or might I say, the kid version of you. A level that slowly changes by how you lead your life and grow as a person.

Just a quick one? But a lotta people say that the soul punisher wouldn't work on Broly because he isn't evil. That's true, and it didn't. If the soul punisher hits someone who IS evil? They're practically vaporized like with Janemba, however with Broly it just inflicted surface damage on him due to the explosion. The soul Punisher can DAMAGE non Evil targets, just not erase them.
From what I understand about soul punisher, it destroys pure evil inside of the target which is why janemba reverted back to a kid, so broly had some part of his evil side destroyed. Can’t say the same for heart however because he was “pure evil” no pure heart inside of him so he destroyed.

Man, i just love the change at 7:10. It's the main turning point for me, no more powering up or fancy attacks, just broly getting overwhelmed and beat down by gogeta. It's kind of sad, because we know broly is not evil, but he is dangerous, we know it and so does gogeta, so the threat needs to be dealt naturalised, he is going for the finish now and there is nothing more broly can do. it's too late.
The more i look at this i realize Broly actually didn't do bad. But if Gogeta had not appeared he probably would have done something to destroy himself along with everything around him. That type of power needs to be humbled.
I love how they manage to make every form goku and vegeta worked super hard for look like an absolute useless thing. It magnificent. Honestly seeing how goku goes up against beerus in god ki to then get power above regular god ki to then see a legendary super saiyan... super saiyan just maybe 10x stronger or whatever just beat the crap out of people who can rival a god of destruction. In a weird way, Broly is in an instinct mode. He has no sense of himself and his body is just fighting (until his pupils return). Obviously not ultra instinct, but a similar concept.
This fight was the best Dragon Ball fights we had in years as it brought back the choreography ofOG Dragon Ball and mixed it with the over the top power of Z and Super.
Honestly, this is the best animation style for Dragon Ball movies. Better than TOP. This is coming from someone who grew up in the 90s with DB and DBZ. Sort of a snob really. That being said, Super Hero just didn't impress me. DBS Broly should be a standard for a while. No need to keep changing it. Fight scenes were well done. Vegeta is the dominating personality. Goku saw Broly's heart, and yet Gogeta, attempted to obliterate him. Classic Vegeta style. 😎
I didn't mind Tadayoshi Yamamuro's aesthetic for _Dragon Ball Super._ Mainly because his style is used for all of _Dragon Ball's_ promotional material (which is EVERYWHERE you see _Dragon Ball_ advertised), so it was a style I (and pretty much EVERYONE) was familiar with. And I think hating Yamamuro's style solely just because it's not the same as _DBZ's_ is just plain stupid and immature. That being said, I did love the grittiness of Naohiro Shintani's aesthetic for _DBS: Broly_ and admittedly, it was kinda jarring that they didn't use it for _Super Hero._ But I quickly got over it.

7:50 man it’s jus sum about that move that is so damn sick it scares me a lil. I just like the minute detail of it. Especially when he does the kamehameha right after it! It’s just top tier.
If you still see people saying something like ‘Super will never reach this level’ about old DB stuff, they probably haven’t watched this scene, or ingrate, blind, or just poor adults stuck in the past.
Especially since you can see the effort and time put into the animation alone. Like, bro, there is a sense of respect about that. As an adult, you probably work hard to reach something, which coincidentally, that work may be motivated by your kids’ day by watching this show or else. By that, I feel you can just automatically appreciate it, acknowledging that it’s good enough to reach a certain level. A certain level that was made by someone you even think is stupid, or might I say, the kid version of you. A level that slowly changes by how you lead your life and grow as a person.

The fact it takes a fused ssj blue to even slow Broly down makes this one of the most intense fights of the series.
Dude didn't do too bad considering he had no real training and was fighting a fusion using just the full power version of his normal SSJ form.

Just a quick one? But a lotta people say that the soul punisher wouldn't work on Broly because he isn't evil. That's true, and it didn't. If the soul punisher hits someone who IS evil? They're practically vaporized like with Janemba, however with Broly it just inflicted surface damage on him due to the explosion. The soul Punisher can DAMAGE non Evil targets, just not erase them.

From what I understand about soul punisher, it destroys pure evil inside of the target which is why janemba reverted back to a kid, so broly had some part of his evil side destroyed. Can’t say the same for heart however because he was “pure evil” no pure heart inside of him so he destroyed.

But Gogeta wasn't sure so he was about to do what he needed to do. And honestly i don't even know if it even fully worked because Broly was still fighting.
This technique works as a oneshot if the enemy is evil or if there is a big difference in power between the individuals(like, if gogeta throw the stardust breaker at idk, Future Trunks is going to be disintegrated according to the daishenzu).

@@Connor_Kirkpatrick To be fair, there's also a "full power super saiyan 3" (rose because heroes is bonkers but presumably a non-godly equivalent exists) that's basically its own form too. The boundaries of a "form" are pretty loose as seen with the Super Saiyan Grades. His hair color changed and his clothes ripped off, I'd say it qualifies.
Man, i just love the change at 7:10. It's the main turning point for me, no more powering up or fancy attacks, just broly getting overwhelmed and beat down by gogeta. It's kind of sad, because we know broly is not evil, but he is dangerous, we know it and so does gogeta, so the threat needs to be dealt naturalised, he is going for the finish now and there is nothing more broly can do. it's too late.

The more i look at this i realize Broly actually didn't do bad. But if Gogeta had not appeared he probably would have done something to destroy himself along with everything around him. That type of power needs to be humbled.
I love how they manage to make every form goku and vegeta worked super hard for look like an absolute useless thing. It magnificent. Honestly seeing how goku goes up against beerus in god ki to then get power above regular god ki to then see a legendary super saiyan... super saiyan just maybe 10x stronger or whatever just beat the crap out of people who can rival a god of destruction. Amazing! Just like during the tournament Ultra Instinct was getting kept up with. I just love that so much. Who else agrees!

In a weird way, Broly is in an instinct mode. He has no sense of himself and his body is just fighting (until his pupils return). Obviously not ultra instinct, but a similar concept.

Honestly, this is the best animation style for Dragon Ball movies. Better than TOP. This is coming from someone who grew up in the 90s with DB and DBZ. Sort of a snob really. That being said, Super Hero just didn't impress me. DBS Broly should be a standard for a while. No need to keep changing it. Fight scenes were well done. Vegeta is the dominating personality. Goku saw Broly's heart, and yet Gogeta, attempted to obliterate him. Classic Vegeta style. 😎
I didn't mind Tadayoshi Yamamuro's aesthetic for _Dragon Ball Super._ Mainly because his style is used for all of _Dragon Ball's_ promotional material (which is EVERYWHERE you see _Dragon Ball_ advertised), so it was a style I (and pretty much EVERYONE) was familiar with. And I think hating Yamamuro's style solely just because it's not the same as _DBZ's_ is just plain stupid and immature.
That being said, I did love the grittiness of Naohiro Shintani's aesthetic for _DBS: Broly_ and admittedly, it was kinda jarring that they didn't use it for _Super Hero._ But I quickly got over it.
When Gogeta is born...he is about business, he has the mindset of Vegeta and did you see Whis's face when he knew the battle was about the end.

Gogeta says that "Kakarot and Vegeta have merged together" but isn't that an error? Since Gogeta is supposed to be more like Goku and thus would refer to Goku as Goku instead of Kakarot. Vegito calling Goku Kakarot makes sense cause he is more like Vegeta. It's a nitpick but just something I noticed I guess.
He probably referred to Goku as Kakarot because he was speaking to Frieza who knows the sayians on a personal level.
