After moving the red tab on the connector as shown in the video, I had problems releasing the connection. A quick shot with compressed air on the black release tab area did the trick. I think there was some grit under the tab preventing it from pushing down enough to release the connection.

Is there a way to now what one is bad?
Did you break the first one you now switch to a new hub and cable to finish this change over. You should of showed us this .
