Those geniuses sound live as good as a studio recording! Pure talent.
I registered Live AID 1985 on many audio tapes. Watching the videos makes me happy.
I remember getting up at 3am here in Chicago just to see Spandau Ballet! Totally worth it!
eres good🇺🇸🇲🇽
Hidden gem, this one!
Nice classic👏👏👏👏👏🔥
Sensacional banda musical🎻🎹💕🎶🎵🎼🎧🎤🎬🎶🎵🎼🎧🎤🎬🎻🎹🎶🎵🎼🎧🎤🎻🎬🎹🎵🎶
Nice clean up of the mix... the thud of the mike falling is erased . The bass sounds lush and fat... guitars and backing is enhanced greatly . I think Midge was involved in re mastery. No pressure but Mr Wellar is watching from the wings .
SUPER SONG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

True !!!
Thanks for yet another one of the "Missing" videos. Hopefully Sade up next in two weeks time?. Really hope that one day , we will see you post full artist sets or even the holy grail , that we will be able to buy the WHOLE Live Aid concert in Ai Upscaled Blu Ray for the 40th Aniv. I can dream eh?
That would be an absolute dream come true
@@linoybitton847 Yes , it would 1) Make the Trust a whole lot of money and 2) Introduce a whole new generation of younger people to Live Aid. Even if they did not release it on Bluray , I am sure they could do some sort of deal with Amazon Prime / Netflix etc in 1080pHD with all money going directly to the trust , as originally intended. Its time to bring this superb footage into the 21st century. The software is now out there to professionally upscale it to 1080p and a good portion of the hard work has ALREADY been completed by remixing the Audio , as per Midge's video. I hope the trust will SERIOUSLY consider this for the 40th.
AI upscale? Like the unwatchably bad "restoration" Peter Jackson has given the Beatles Get Back footage? No thank you. However as it's over 16 years since the original DVD set I think we're due an upgrade. There are several fan made upscales floating round the internet and they prove that the footage can look better than it does. To be honest I'd be move interested in improved audio, and if released on blu-ray there'd be space not only for a new surround mix but also (where they survive) the 2004 stereo and 5.1 mixes, the BBC and ABC mono TV mixes, the BBC and USA stereo radio mixes and the MTV stereo TV mixes
@@desperatemohammedantheworl5833 The Topaz Ai software is producing amazing results. What do you think these "fan made" restorations are using?
Spandau Allaaa!!!!!😂❤
Too bad that never released in single

Did they never release this track?
It’s on Through the Barricades album
Thx do a 9h Song of live aids pls
Yep , wish they would release at least the WHOLE Wembley concert in its entirety. We now know they have ALL the footage (Apart from Sade 1st 2.5 mins and a bit of the Who's performance) to do it.
@@teddystacker The missing Who performances survive as (officially) unreleased b-roll 16mm film footage from at least a couple of "roving" BBC handheld cameras while the audio survives in stereo as part of the archived tapes of the complete Radio 1 broadcast. There should be no problem constructing something from this and the surviving footage. Sade on the other hand we don't know about.

Blessings for you too.
lowest point of Spandau Ballet concert, I felt so disappointed they chose this over their great back catalogue hits
it's a nice song, yes, but, damn, I was hoping for Gold especially, to go along with Only When You Leave & True. Round and Round or Barricades would've been good too...
The manager picked the songs. He was a total failure.

as much as i like spandau ballet, with the exception of gary kemp, the whole band looks overdressed for the occasion and looked ridiculous. sorry but it seemed like gary got the memo on how hot the day was gonna be.
Gary was such an American in style lol, but one thing about the band, they were very preppy dressed in their vids and concerts. Tony probably wanted Gary in a nice dress shirt and he said mate, no way! LOL
Many bands were dressed like that, Gary was too underdressed. The fact it was hot was inconsequential, it's wasn't a beach festival.
@@mr.balloffur i'd rather be comfortable and not be burning than be overdressed and feeling like i'm about to lose my breath during a show.
