I just bought one, very nice. My one issue, I do in fact wish it came out of the box with 35's. Apparently it's going to require some modification to get them to fit. Tough to get my head around that given the price I paid, but it's OK. The truck is in fact a rock solid machine. Keep up the good work!
I was looking at buying a new GMC Sierra and I looked at and test drove a 2024 Sierra 2500 HD Denali Diesel and this 2024 AT4X. I ended up getting the 2500 Diesel because of the longer bed. But man, this at4x was a sweet ride and now I keep thinking about it.
I would only be interested in that truck for 90k if I was going to be going adventuring off road. The problem is it lacks sufficient payload to put a small camper in the bed, so I guess it is designed for those who want a certain look.
Thank you for the review Ben. Thank you for sharing a GM vehicle. A lot of truck for a lot of money. Happy holidays and I hope you have a festive holiday season.
My cousin just got this in white, looks even better than that color. 89,000$. My 2018 f150 xl 5.0 with a 3 inch lift and 33s smokes that GMC. His truck is absolutely awesome though.
I would say it should be 33s for the AT4, 35s for the AT4x and 37s with the AEV package. Yeah, those trucks will never see a trail worthy of their capability, but you said it... the looks should match the truck orientation and sticker price. I am really more in the 5.3 silverado price range myself and maybe I could stretch it to the 6.2 silverado with the Z71 package... but my father is in deed capable of this level of vehicle and I can tell you he would rather get an AT4 trim and get the aftermarket upgrades than paying the AT4x with the AEV package and not get the good stuff a truck like this should come with. GM is missing on a lot of people that would pay for that package if it came with all the goodies of a proper offroad rig (HD steel bumpers, significant lift, big tires, performance wheels, auxiliary switches preinstalled, standard hitch integrated inside the bumper assembly, spray in bed liner, mounting points for accesories like lights, designated spot for the air compressor and predesigned routing for the air hoses, not loosing the step holes in the bumper and even including the other side step holes to step into the bed right behind the rear door...) a package like that would increase value and sales figures by a huge margin. Many people are opting for an older truck in a lower trim to modify because it doesn't make sense to spend more money into a newer truck in a higher trim that doesn't come out of the showroom decently speced for its intended purpose. It is still a great truck, dont get me wrong... but it lacks to make sense for most people
@@BenHardyCars I was afraid of that. I bought a 2023 AT4X and thought I’d replace the tires with 35’s once the 33’s wear out. Thanks for the reply! Merry Christmas!!
do 35s fit without modding?? and 90k.....I drive a RS6 avant as daily, modded 4Runner on 35s, and an Fcar as a toy.....loce the truck and would use it to replace my RS6 as I need the utility......
I imagine they will not be selling many of these trucks in the current state of the economy. This truck appeals to roughly a thousand dentists nationwide who would show it off to the dads in the parking lot at the kids soccer game.
Yeah a nearly 100k vehicle for off roading seems counter intuitive, but what do I know apparently there are lots of millionaires out here making it a viable market for such vehicle prices
I'm bothered with the turning of the steering wheel without forward motion. Is that unfounded? Seems like you're asking for the late-life loose wheel syndrome that inflicts trucks. Is this purely just MY perception?

Still releasing a video on Christmas man? Great job and Merry Christmas!
Should’ve came with 35s from the factory. At least for the AEV Edition.

Big Ben in the house. Giving out a free Christmas gift to anyone. Way to go Ben.
Sick truck. You know I agree on the 35's. Merry Christmas Ben. Thank you for the hard work on these reviews.

Love the truck Ben. Merry Christmas. 💯💯💯💯🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

Gmc keep building awesome trucks love this truck so much
It's like a more refined and plush Trail Boss. That gray color on it also makes it look sick.
Agreed that this should have 35s from factory. Hopefully the next gen 2025/2026 has an option for 35s at least.

That price is exactly why many who buy this truck will not take it off-road, well nothing too crazy at least.
So its none of your business what people do with a vehicle they purchased. Its not your money obviously you cant afford it.

Hey Ben: would 35’s fit on this truck without making mods? Would the steering still go stop-to-stop without fender rub or steering component rub?
I think it would need to be lifted some and some cutting might have to happen

Would you take this or the Ford F150 Lariat FX4?
Very nice truck
2 heavy, & 2 long 2 off road.......MERRY F'N CHRISTMAS BEN!!!
Can 35s be swapped out on this or would it require a new lift or cutting out the fender?
It’s the best looking half ton imo

Front and rear lockers
Does it have the usb exhaust pipe tips.?
Hey, Ben happy holidays to you and your viewers, however do you think this is a better truck than a Nissan titan sv???.
Way different
@Ben Hardy: how long will the wax coated frame last with all that off roading?
Can you put 35’s on this truck?

2024 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X AEV Bison 6.2L V8 10-Speed Automatic Crew Cab 4X4!
The perfect truck other than price. Drop the AEV and the X. Same truck and save money.
no lockers, no dssv shocks then
Beautiful truck. Payload is lacking

I’d rather have a Raptor at this price.
Is GM still having issues with these motors and transmissions. If I spent this much I’d like to get 5 good years out of it
$90k is TRX price range. Go ahead trash ram. I work in a shop I have plenty of gm horror stories.
What's with all the white trucks?? I don't think i have ever seen so many white trucks in a row.
Just absurdly expensive, awesome truck though…

It’s an overpriced trail Boss , who in their right mind would take a $90,000 truck off-road !!
