Nice comparison of the two trims. I appreciate the time you put into this. There’s an ill informed viewer in the comments section of another GMC video arguing that the AT4 does not come with a 2in lift... Only the AT4X. I know he’s incorrect, so it’s funny to see him make such a fool of himself on this app. Thanks for the upload!👊🏽💯
I've always loved the way blue trucks look but never owned one. Don't plan on a new one anytime soon. But had I not found the Limited Longhorn I got, I was going to go Patriot Blue with the blackout package. These are both pretty cool trucks.
So I have a 2020 AT4 6.2 carbon pro Fully loaded Low miles I was debating on trading it in for the x. Not sure if I should or not it won’t hurt me financially but my payments will be high Not sure what to do I’m not sure if I should wait And if it’s even worth getting I mean I’m sure it is but I still have that question if I should go for it or not. I want the diesel engine So bad What would you do?
I just got a 2024 at4 black on black 6.2 V8 engine with active exhaust.. beautiful truck I named black stallion, sounds and looks mean and people on the highway literally move out my way .. best truck I've ever had so far , hopefully it'll be a great 10 year vehicle
My man said believe it or not those are the same tires on both trucks. Except the at4x has a bigger size and a little different tread pattern. Like what. But they're the same ride. I really wish these guys that do these reviews would do their homework first and actually car about the vehicles they review. It's like getting LeBron James to do review on particle accelerators.
You need to pay attention to filming the area that you are talking about. Multiple times, you talked about the AT4X’s front bumper, but never really showed it fully- or at least not long enough for me to really picture it. Otherwise, good job!
The wheels on both trucks are atrocious, and the tires are too small. The 2500 AT4X was done right, with the exception of the idiotic inline cup holders.
If your not going to upgrade it yourself and you want to go offroad, you should get the X. But for me, everything that comes with the X from AEV is overpriced and you would be better served buying it all over time as needed with both cheaper and plentiful options for your personal offroading needs. The AEV equipment does not justify price increase.
Payload and towing is a deal breaker for me with the AT4X, I'm not even talking about the insane price. With 4 people you almost max out the payload. with that price better to buy a one year old 2500
It's too bad AT4 and AT4X are trim levels and not an additional package. For example, you want a work truck for offroad situations, boom lockers and suspension. Want all the fancy tech, Denali Ultimate AT4X....
Marketing team knows what they're doing. Want a specific option or two? Gotta spend $$$ to go up a trim level and get things you may not care about. Imagine if you could option the at4 to get the bumper, suspension, and locker for $5-8k. At4x sales would suffer.
This guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He is ignorant of a lot of facts. Example he shows load capacity difference, but he refers to it as towing capacity and they are two different things. The video is strung full of things he misunderstood.
@@evocati6523 Affording it is not the problem. Its the prices that are absurd. I paid 70G cash for my Denali 2500 Duramax in Jan 2020. These 1/2 tons are NOT worth more than that.
All that mess on the AT4X for extra 12000. Nah. Just go 4wheel parts and get stuff. Better quality and cheaper. Also my man left out the reg AT4 has deploying run boards help us Old Guys get IN the truck nicer.
I’ve got a slightly used Camaro with the track package and the 6.2 liter motor. Never been raced or bounced off the rev limiter. 😂😂😂😂 Never buy used unless you have the money saved for some potentially expensive repairs.
Where I come from, unless it’s got a modified exhaust, lifted at least 4 inches, and has at least 35 inch tires then it ain’t a truck. Which means neither of these are trucks. I don’t even need to hear about the tire sizes or lift height. Is it a 4+ inch lift? No. Does it have 35s or bigger? No. Does it have a modified exhaust? No. Once again a failure by GMC and Chevy to come out with a vehicle to rival the TRX.

Great comparison. I've been looking for a video like this for a while!
Excellent video. I'm currently shopping and found this very informative. Thank you!
i think you farted around 6:20 LOL
Great comparison! You covered absolutely everything :)
Excellent presentation & comparison!

The blue looks tough on the off road pickups especially with black bumpers 👍🏾👍🏾
That is a gun metal color on the grill and it is considered an upgrade from most car makers. I love it.
Very good comparison ,I don’t think I would want a donut ,I would want the real tire😅
Thanks!

What would you do?
Did you make a decision yet?
So expensive both but damn the AT4x front bumper looks soooo damn good….
Very helpful comparison video. I'd like to see the two engines compared in a separate video. Perhaps you've already done one.
Can you compare the 1500 AT4X to the 2500 AT4X

6.2 or diesel? And why?
A jb, why do these come with the 3.23 gears? Can you option these with the 3.42?
They all come with the 3.23’s and there’s no option to change it. I guess they think the gearing is low enough in the trans 👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork and plus with the 6.2 being powerful enough too i guess. Right on jb.
Also you can’t get the up fitter switches on any trim from AT4 through Denali Ultimate Edition trims
I noticed that with the premium interior upgrade with those trims

😂😂😂
got to fix 6.2 motor failure problem.
what si failure problem??
Lmao I always look at my AT4 and think, “wow this truck is huge”… next to the X, not so much 😂
I believe there is a G80 locker and downhill assist.
What’s up Ric?!?! That is correct!
@@JB_WhoWorkWhat going on my friend. Did Hannah have a great day?
The X 🔥
the at4x 1500 not available in a standard bed is non starter for me
No need for bed when payload is so low, not carry anything in that😂

Yah for 90 grand I think I'll drive my titan till the wheels fall off 😅
When GM going to put panoramic sunroof ?
No need to

The AT4 has dual HDMI ports. The AT4X does not. No hi-def driving in the AT4X, needless to say.
At4x has a 3inch lift not 2 inch

At4x has locking differential. Front and rear
You do know that the blue truck is more then a ATX4 edition
You talking about a gas HD?

Just get a ZR2 and get it all for near AT4 price!
and the at4x comes with a screen that doesnt work 😄
90% the extra 13k is stuff you don’t need 👎
Not worth it
Value changes when you can afford it, easy to say something isn't worth it when you can't afford it anyway

Nobody gives a fuck where "you come from" boy. Go cry about this truck on a dodge forum some more

What a dumb post lmao
A modified exhaust? Lol. What an idiotic qualification
