I appreciate the remark you made about people who jump in the comments to complain about pricing. These trucks are indeed expensive. But as you so eloquently “semi” pointed, folks dole out more for sports sedans, yet these trucks are more capable, while also checking those sporty and luxury boxes. While any common sense minded person would rather prices come down, at the same time they are what they are. So either pay to play, or simply get out the way. Nice review JB… God bless you brother… You have a beautiful family!👊🏽💯
The MSRPs of these vehicles is getting rediculous. Add sales tax and you are poking at a 100K for a truck that very few will go camping with or off-road with. It is a street cruiser yelling out "look at me". I read GM wants to grow profit from higher prices and low quantity of vehicles but really, how many will pay this much? Enough to warrant this price? I should be able to get a nicely equipped truck out the door for somewhere in the mid-60s. I'm not going to reach that far down for a truck like this even through it looks nice.
The issue I have with GM's thinking or lack of, its the differential gear ratio that they have gone with which to me makes no sense at all for what is supposed to be an off road ready platform. Unfortunately the trucks fenders are not designed around fitting large tires without more of a lift but even so they could have easily put the existing 3.42 gears in for the gas engine and the 3.73 gears for the diesel. That makes as much sense as if Jeep had put the same fast ratio into their Rubicon series.
No 35s on AEV model is a disgrace at that price point when the canyon comes with 35s. And this is from a GM homer. And for Christ sake can be we new HP and TQ on the v8 engines ?
@swatchorn3911 I put king coilovers up front basically 3 in lift. King rear shocks and they fit but i replaced my leaf springs with new deaver leaf springs. My truck rides extremely well👍

I could buy this. Wouldn’t even have to finance. But I would opt for a 5 year old kinda nice older truck. Only stupid people drive something like this. Smart people know to invest disposable income. Beautiful truck though.
give them $40,000 down and ya note still $1,000 a month. Then, who da f%&* gonna offroad a $90,000 GM product. Ya'll know it's gonna get stuck, YA'LL KNOW IT'S GONNA BREAK. Geaux buy a pre-loved F250 diesel 4x4 for about $40,000 and drag that GMC all over the parking lot.
The problems I have with this truck. 1. Its $91K 2. Its a half ton 3. 33 inch wheels 4. 6.2 L aka faulty lifters ad some GM fuel management BS system. DFM or AFM etc.. 5. Missing options. WTF!!! 6. I can see this truck now on Matts Off Road Towing. Matt pointing and laughing.
@@MidwestMotor My truck may have lifter issue in the future. so far at 30K miles it does not. My truck was $60K in 2022 when trucks were hard to find. At the end of the Plandemic.. Not $91K. This truck is not much better than the one I have for $31K more. When I tell you its not worth $91K. I know.

Yep and repos are at a all time high. I wonder why
Auto manufacturers are in for a rude awakening.
Nice, but not the price! Keep it!!
Blah blah blah.... you can't afford it anyways
It looks like I will be buying the diesel option with the retractable steps and the under seat storage.
Is it too high to fit in a standard two car garage?

@@InLineDiesel6 I paid less than 68k for my 24 zr2. Do your research before complaining
Go buy a 60k truck and stop 😢
@@johnmorris77 Congradulation on your new truck. I wasn't complaining but making a statement about ridiculous pricing.
Does anyone know the build dates of the 6.2s that are locking up?
They look great but the time a lifter or cam or injectors goes bad it’s not worth it
Depends on how you maintain it.
I guess I need to hold on to my f250 fx4.
