  • This is the best and right way to seal and waterproof kitchen sink. This kitchen sink is on a laminate countertop/benchtop. Sealing it by using a white glossy Silicone, which is against dirt and mould.

Do you have to apply silicone underneath sink lip as well? Or just where it meets the benchtop?

A suggestion if I might. Whenever you give a tip where the reason is not obvious, in this case, why you need to spray water before wiping, you should explain why you are advising this. I presume that as you take off excess caulk with the rag, any silicone that pushes onto the surrounding wet surface will be less likely to stick. But when you showed the end result, I noticed unsightly silicone smear on the adjacent countertop. Also, I recommend that you not have distracting noises, such as people talking, in the background of your videos.

Good video. You appear to be using a transparent silicone, not white. Is that correct?

Thank you, you right i didn't use white silicone because it will gets dirty within a month.
So my advice is don't use white silicone and use transparent.

The sink is not flat and lifted in the front on the countertop. How do I fix this?

Depend'n on how damaged the countertop is (assuming that's why the sink is lift'n in front)...the countertop may need to be sanded down & or built up to evenly fit the sink. U don't say what type countertop (again I assume laminate or someth'n that can be easily repaired) Wood glue or bond-o may help build back up damaged countertop.😉
