- Since deadpool actor ryan reynolds and his friend robert bought Wrexham FC, the club has been on a high rise. From struggling in the lowest league division to now eyeing a comeback to the championship. very soon they will be in the premier league and only time will tell.
Am just loving the ride, best feeling i have had in many years...... dont care what happens in league 1, just enjoying the ride, which I hope all the rest of Wrexham fans are doing...stop slagging of the moment enjoy it...embrace it....share it with the people you love.
Hear, hear!
AI written and narrated with stock footage. This is clickbait. I really wish UA-cam would ban this kind of garbage. In a few years this is going to be the majority of content on this platform.
won't happen. Rather it will improve.
The components of Wrexham's current success? A pair of owners that did not see the team as an asset rich entity where the assets could be stripped from the club and the club discarded. A fan base that formed a committee to fund and manage the club while the owners of the day were waiting for it to fail. The judicious appointment of the stewards of the club who managed it for the future and with the inclusion of the fan base. And a program that plans for each season as it comes rather than planning for the EPL from Div2. Eye on the ball and where you are not what you want. In the mean time, can you cite the number of teams that have climbed from Div2 to EPL? Because the majority of teams in the EPL were the debutants when it formed.
Didn't Bournemouth go from league 2 to the prem in 6 years?
Not disagreeing with your points btw, I agree with them, just saying Bournemouth are proof you can go from administration in league 2 to the EPL and stay there in a relatively short time period of time with good club management.
@@GroßerBöserWolf Honestly don't know but Bournemouth are to be admired for their achievements.
Yeah the old money elite of Europe should buy historic clubs and take football back to it's historic roots and only allow responsible outsiders buy clubs.
3:28 this is how I know AI made this
Lololol
Im a Cov fan so no skin in the game at the moment, but from a purely just watching the show and an outside view their operating on a league one structure already, so it's not surprising they've managed to get to L1 so quickly. I do think L1 will be a bit of a struggle but Wrexham will get to the championship, after that though they are in the mix with massive parachute payment and wages, so I don't think it will be clean sailing. Given how most teams get stuck in the championship, I personally can't see Wrexham getting to the PL anytime soon. Not saying they wont eventually, but it will take a fair few years.
To the fans, enjoy the ride, enjoy the good times! I know all too well as a Coventry fan how quickly things can go badly and how brutal the leagues can be. It's nice to see you have owners that seem to care for the club and the town, rather than trying to squeeze every penny, that's very rare.
Ryan Reynolds is worth $1 billion, the MU owners are worth $222 billion. It's a HUGE step and may end up being Wrehham's downfall if they ever decide to sell the club. THEY are a huge attraction because of their new found passion. Noone can take away their recent success, it's an amazing feat to get to the Championship
the club have done really well, since Ryan & Rob, took over as owners, winning back to back promotions, gaining world wide attention & advertisement
We might get there but even if we don’t, this journey has been great. However, we were not ‘semi-professional’ when the takeover happened. We were fully professional and had been for many years. In fact, the third oldest fully professional club in the world. Just cos we were non-league doesn’t make us amateur. Good video apart from that though.
It has been an incredible journey.
I am so happy to connect with a Wrexham fan.
I will review and come up with another incredible Wrexham video keeping your correction in mind.
Thank You. ❤
@@HighPLtv The National League is the lowest level of English professional football, that doesn't mean it's a bad thing, it just means once you get to Tier 5(The National League) it basically means you need to operate as a professional club.
@@TheHabsificationthere's nothing stopping clubs in National Leagues North & South from employing full time, professional footballers (other than money). I understand Scunthorpe United are still fully professional, for instance.
@@exsandgrounder Tier 6 football is basically the transitioning point of when teams go from being semi-professional to fully professional
I've supported Wrexham since 1967 when I attended my first game. We beat Port Vale 2-1. I've seen the ups and downs over the years, playing in the European Cup winners Cup taking the scalps of teams like Porto. FA Cup victories over the likes of Arsenal. Then the lows of National League. Now we are having a purple patch, let's see where that will lead us. Up the Town.
If you told me 3 years ago, this Club would be tops on League 1, I would have called you MAD.
Clickbait, the video has nothing to do with the title
In the english 5th tier TWO teams are promoted. 1st directly, the second team through playoffs...
In the english football ownership landscape, i don't think you can classify "Ryan and Rob's money" as big money
Semi amateur? 1 team promoted from the 5th tier? You know nothing
Your comment says it all about your footballknowledge
2 teams get promoted 1 automatic 1 through the playoffs in the 5th tier
Still 3 semi-pro clubs in the National League, and when Wrexham went down most clubs in the Conference were semi-pro
That was an enjoyable watch. I would just like to point out that Wrexham FC has always been a professional football club. Wrexham FC were never ‘semi amateur’ prior to Rob and Ryan taking over the club.

I am ai user UA-cam. Welcome to the soccer world Wrexham. Welcome to the 3rd league.
Unless it turns out Ryan Reynolds is a Saudi Prince, they never reach the Prem.
Made this comment a while ago, but I think your take is what I was aiming at. I should of said they'll never win it. Of course, Leicester did once, but who took that bet?
"Scary Truth?" You never said what that was?! Clickbait BULLSHIT. I'll never get those 8 minutes back.
So which minutes DO you get back ?
couldnt agree more - clickbait a%%holes
It might not take long but it takes lots and lots of millions to do it
Big fan of Wrexham. Issue is the old race course does not really meet modern EPL standards. If they make the EPL-- How does on quickly increase # of seats and improve infrastructure of stadium to epl levels-this takes time--(The money will follow)--but time? . Leicester and Brighton are overachieving small stadiums, but I believe infrastructure is more mature. Rich
I like the way Ryan Reynolds took the team on a all expenses paid holiday to America , but I notice he didn't take any of the Fans. ?
He doesn't have unlimited money
@GojoUltra-l5p it's one up manship ..which I'm not a Fan of either.
Don't know much about the the English football system...but aren't most EPL teams owned by billionaires (people or corporations)? McAlhaney and Deadpool are going to need to raise quite a bit of money to compete that level consistently...if at all. Or so I would think....
Stand needs to be built
Imagine Wrexham vs Real Madrid in Champions League Final 😂
I can't wait 😍😍.
it must be on another level
let's see before 2030
stopped at europe´s top football league
He goes on to suggest fans actually cheer in the EPL rather than the deadly silence it is notorious for.
"THE SCARY TRUTH ABOUT WREXHAM FC THAT NO ONE IS NOTICING" What's "scary" about this and what is that no one has noticed? Clickbait😡
You cannot compeer Wrexham to Man city and PSG they do not have that type of money and unless they are sold to Billionaire they won't ever be at that level.
They'll be back to non league soon when this Diddy stuff gets to court.
You're joking KRO!
clickbait title and 8 minutes of talking about nothing...
again, whats the "scary truth about wrexham fc that noone is noticing"?
We are a big club if Brentford and Luton can do it soo can we top of league one as the scores stand
Managed to take an exciting topic and make it as boring as possible...
They were fully professional. Not semi-amateur.
"Fewer" years, not "less" years - countable vs uncountable nouns, if you wanna Google the gramatical difference
Wrexham are ready for the premier league. They beat man u 3-0 and drew with chelseas 2-2
2 teams get promoted from the national league, switched off once you'd made that error, 44 seconds in.
yeah but, Only the team that finishes top of the 24-team National League gets automatic promotion to League Two and entry to the Football League. There is one other promotion spot, which must be achieved through a play-off system.
@@HighPLtv I was the owner and MD of a club in the National League, I know how it works. What you said is wrong.
Stop using AI and Chat GPT for scripts. even this reply is generated.
@@YesTomCullen Thank You🙏
... Thomas Cullen??
@YesTomCullen yeah, the simple mistakes make it clear this is AI generated.
Atleast this isnt as shit as Redbull teams.
The reality is their owners came in and spent a lot of money on a National League club. That and their profile, Netflix etc. helped them attract some veteran players, former Premier League. (which is a short term solution) So they essentially ended up with a third tier squad playing in the fifth then fourth tier. Yes they still had to go out and get promoted but it wasnt exactly a big fairytale. Now they are in League 1 where they're not the biggest club in the division anymore. Dont think they will be able to repeat that same strategy again. And yeah other clubs have made it to the top from lower down, but Wrexham could also go the other way next season, back to League 2.
Great video, I’m glad you’re more positive about the uprising of Wrexham AFC than the usual clickbate channels

That was pretty fn scary 😒
This just AI clickbait. This is what losers do now.
Up the Bromley 😂
Awful AI voice over.

What did I just hear🤮 We all hate Wrexham. Bought success, bought onto FIFA. All that is wrong with football. A fairytale is when its built by the local business man who balances the books fairly not blasts 11 million immediately into a club and who knows how more. Nasty horrible club on a par with MK Dons.
That is a fairytale.. sorry only money gets success when you show us a local small business person with average players being promoted then i might believe you. No one underpays and is successful.
@@drwatsonca6945 not always the case
We all hate Wrexham... Just wondering how many people you think you speak for? 😅
😂Scary truth😢😮. Well it gets some clicks. Who cares what happen and when?! As long as they are playing we will be watching and cheering. How long this "Hollywood" sheit is going to fly? Do you know how many zillion much richer and powerful people are in the World? Why they are not buying a non-leaque football clubs? Cause they are not "stupid/crazy" enough to willingly have the biggest pain in their butt.
Will end in tears once the cash runs out
Be natural....money will come
three or five years ago? wtf is this script :D
They kept being called historic, what is historic about them other than being the oldest club in Wales?.
Too many errors in this vid!
Doubt Wrexham will ever get to the premier league.
🤔.. Give the Red Dragons time.
From League One to Championship..
then championship to EPL
I'm predicting it will happen in the next 5
@@HighPLtv can you please pass that pipe over? Whatever your smoking must be some good s*×t 😮
Or your a click bait extraordinaire. Rob and Ryan may have millions to enable them to sustain EFL Football. An honest question, where will the Billions come from to ensure a promotion and sustainability in to the EPL?
