    5 Egg Breakfast Ideas to Keep on Repeat
    Today I am making four egg breakfast ideas that you can make over and over again. Why eggs you ask? Well, I currently have so many eggs in my house, I don't know what to do with them. So we got some chickens in the spring and they're producing a lot of eggs right now. Now we love our chickens. Sometimes a little too much. They're almost like our new family pets. They definitely provide a lot of excitement. So along with all the entertainment they provide, their eggs make some delicious breakfast recipes.

    Wack your croissant can on the edge of the counter. It will pop open. That’s how my mom did it, and now I do it that way. Works every time.

      Yep! That's what the instructions used to say and how we always did it. Then they changed to having you press a spoon into that seam to pop it open and we could never get that to work, so we kept whacking them. I haven't read the directions for years - wonder what they say now?

    All look delicious! The braid seems very simple but looks very impressive and you could easily make a few for a brunch with different "innards". You could even stuff it with all sorts of savory things for dinner! I'm thinking Italian sausage sliced and quickly browned in a skillet with onions and peppers, sliced kielbasa browned in a skillet with drained sauerkraut and shredded carrot with a few caraway seeds, diced ham and Swiss with a mixture of butter and grated onion spread on top, etc.
    I used to make snacks for after school and football games, New Year's Eve, etc with the crescents and rolling up stuffed with pepperoni and mozzarella, served with marinara for dipping. Wish I'd had your Mim's secret for pulling the "tails" and tucking them in!

    Please DO NOT put a Pyrex glass baking dish in an oven that is NOT preheated--the dish will shatter into a million pieces. This is very dangerous. Pyrex must only be used in a PREHEATED oven--never cold.

    • @krmh75
      @krmh75 Рік тому +10

      You can put in cold oven if your ingredients aren't super hot already- its the extreme temp changes that cause that (ie taking it from the fridge (cold) and putting in preheated oven- no! It will shatter)

    • @amandadelgado9884
      @amandadelgado9884 Рік тому +8

      Extreme temperature changes are what cause glass to shatter. ie: taking it from the refrigerator and putting it into a hot oven. You can take it from the refrigerator and put it in a cold oven then heat the oven and it's fine. Or from room temperature into a hot oven. As long as glass is slowly warmed up and not going from one extreme to another it's fine
