born and raised in San Antonio. I remember we didn't have bad drivers till outside people from other states moved in.
Fr
Ye someone in fort worth crashed my parents car once I was there too
@@Goku_blacc Ohhhhh my goodness that's horrible!
lol bro you are so full of shit 🤣
I don't know about that man San Antonio show me Hispanics can't drive and I'm born and raised here
San Antonio drivers do not understand the concept of YIELD. They think the yield sign is roadside decoration.
The problem is there is ZERO infrastructure outside of downtown for people who walk or take public transportation which isn’t really an option in San Antonio. No car = no life
very good point
No car = roadkill. "Sorry not sorry" - the fat a** loser going 25 miles over the speed limit in his Ford F150
That’s any city in Texas, I guess it is a Texas thing to own your own truck or car if your a female
I meant car for females because males drive trucks
Get a car than.
Drivers in San Antonio think turn signals are optional a lot don’t have licenses and if they hit you will try to take off
Don't run or ride your bike on the street in high traffic areas! Use the damn sidewalk.
Jesus.
When I see bicyclists or runners on the actual street when there are cars driving pretty fast, I just think these runners and bicyclists have a death wish.
High density areas shouldnt have 6 lane highways with 60 mph speedlimits running thru them
You only see white people doing that crap. No one else. Put those bicycle lanes in mexico and watch no one use them. That’s what the damn sidewalk is for. Yes we Mexicans think white people are crazy everytime they start making bike lanes and riding them
@@OhKnow379bruh leave the city and stay away from the homes period
It is illegal and plain dangerous to ride a bike on a sidewalk. That said streets in San Antonio were not designed for sharing with cyclists and great number of drivers can’t drive safely - period. Other than that, it’s a third world city in what used to be a first world country.
Crime,crowded,high rent/high taxes/overpriced real estate,low wages,traffic
I came here because it’s low compared to south Florida lol. Price has definitely gone up but back then a two bedroom in Florida not in the ghetto was 2000 dollars minimum. Here I rented an apartment for 1300 a month and that included water bill and trash pick up. Literally down the street from The Rim. That was six years ago. Not sure about now
Same here… moved from Virginia cause it’s way cheaper here. I’m originally from The Valley tho
San Antonio is not a bike friendly town, so plan where you are going to ride your bike.
Drivers here in San Antonio have no respect for bicyclists.
It’s quite sickening.
You should come closer to Castroville the roads are way less congested and we do actually move over and slow down… they have marathons over here actually…
Don’t move to San Antonio
The problem is people is moving to Texas thinking it will be like California or New York. Understand the great state of Texas is a total different monster. Humble yourselves and show respect or Texas will forcefully humble you.
California drivers are great. Everyone stays at the same speed. The roads are wide open when there's no traffic and you barely see idiots zooming & weaving in and out. I think the problem with san antonio are all of the non english speakers not knowing the laws or unable to read the signs
And by the way.. san antonio, dallas, & Houston all made the top 10 list for the worse drivers
@@CoolGuySayingCoolThings I agree with you I moved from California to South Carolina to San Antonio 10 years ago. And I really loved San Antonio when I first moved here people were so nice the traffic wasn't that bad and they have a lot of really good churches here. And you can't get H‑E‑B anywhere else than Texas which is a plus. But the traffic has gotten worse. And people will just stop and stop traffic to make a left turn on double yellow lines they don't know how to drive they never pull over for an ambulance it's just crazy. California drivers are good drivers I very rarely saw traffic accidents in California I see them all the time here. And I left California because I got sick of all of the left wing politics and the high prices and the stuck up snobby people
Anyone driven in Baltimore before? You got negr0s trying to invent there own driving laws 😂. Crazy out here
@@CoolGuySayingCoolThingsI shall change the signs for Spanish and most bad drivers speak English it’s the entitlement
Why yall hate on san antonio everyone nice even the criminals
We love everybody on this channel
You made me laugh 😂🤣, San Antonio was nice but now a bunch of crazies starting with their leaders letting lawbreakers run around like 🪳's....
I could say a lot…I moved here 7 yrs ago.
But the traffic, constant construction, crime getting worse, everything expensive.
I also hate how there’s only 2 grocery stores: HEB or Wal Mart. I guess you could count Costco.
Back in my home state you had so many options. Martins, Meijer, Kroger, and the local town grocery stores. It was easy to save money and shop around. I do like HEB products, but it’d be nice to have other grocery store options.
I hate having to make such an effort to drive anywhere. I’m terrified of getting into an accident.
To be fair I wasn’t very happy to move here 7 years ago, but at least at that time it was bearable. Now I absolutely hate it and can’t wait to move!!!
I will agree with this. I’ve lived in the Bay Area, LA, San Diego, Washington state, Vegas and travel throughout other states and now live in San Antonio. One thing that annoys the crap out of me is drivers here don’t stay in their own lane on the freeway. They’re constantly drifting into other lanes. Another thing that bothers me is that everyone wants to back into their spots (especially BIG trucks in the smallest parking spot) but then 1/2 the time they can’t even park it correctly!!!! But the one thing that I absolutely LOVE about this state is how genuine ppl are here!!!! I wish the rest of the US was like this!
People crying about traffic are soft. It is much worse in NYC, Philly, and Chicago.
nope. From NYC, been down here 1 year and almost been in a dozen accidents. People randomly change lanes, don’t signal, swing turns super wide into multiple lanes, and everyone is in their phone 100% of the time.
NYC is fast and aggressive but it’s controlled chaos. Down here is literally the Wild West.
I’ve lived in all those places. The issue with driving in San Antonio is driving is your only option, you can’t take the train, you can’t walk, you can’t bike, you have to drive. In the cities you mentioned, driving is optional.
Nope born and raised in Chicago spent time in Philly and nyc and the driving and traffic in Texas is the worst. No one uses signals, makes wide ass turns like they are driving semis and are all in a rush and very aggressive. Chicago and New York you barely even see accidents even though it’s more people, and don’t let me mention when it rains in Texas lol . Every one brain cuts off and they act like it’s acid and forget how to drive
The drivers here are psycho, but Houston is worse.
Stop riding the bike like you own the road….
Bad drivers are everywhere, not just in SA.
San Antonio is a dangerous city for bicyclists and pedestrians
I l❤ve San ❤ Antonio
As someone who lives in san antonio, yeah dont move here
True, today my Dad almost hit 2 cars that were going past the red light 🤦
Oh wow!
Umm… Maybe not ride your bike where cars drive. 🤷🏽♀️
EXACTLY.
I live in San Antonio. There's a perfectly good sidewalk and these bicyclists and runners decide to do their thing on the street....with speeding traffic!
OMG.
Everytime I see this happening, I just think, "That guy is going to get run over."
I ride my bike, but I ride it in the the sidewalk in high traffic areas.
I don't have a death wish.
💀
Hey I live there
The construction doesn’t help either… one day you know how to road goes the next your quickly turning at a new turn lane or accidentally cutting or being cut off because a lane closes or shifts… its ridiculous.. or they are putting in a new traffic light… and people wonder why others have road rage..
😂
Traffic in San Antonio is actually great you just have to know how to drive in it
I’d say gun violence is worse. Been in the building during 2 seperate shootings, on the street next to me there was a multi car drive by shooting, other stuff like that. It’s not a regret moving here but it made me conceal for my own safety
"Shoemaker" 😂😂😂😂
Just got back from a two week stay out in San Antonio and i can confirm the drivers are almost worse than FLORIDA
😂
Yes the drivers are intense out there. It is also the road design and active construction sites that makes it extra dangerous.
Can’t wait to be Californian in a year.
Its bad here but still cant imagine citites like NYC
Thr drivers are very aggressive and will ride your ass instead of going to the next lane. Sorry but texmex food is not it the taco trucks be lacking. Be mad all you want but Az ( where I’m from) is top tear Mexican food. Especially the taco trucks that open at 10am-2am. Huge variety of topping and different salsa’s that are all self serve. Every item comes with rice and beans too.
I heard a story of a woman being paralyzed because she jumped in the back from the passenger seat because some idiot started shooting at their car. She was covering her daughter and ended up with, I think, 3 bullets lodged in her spine. Texmex has too much grease, the road rage is wild public services like utilities, waste and even the USPS are incompetent and it seems there is an attempted or successful kidnapping every day.
@@nottanot6015 oh wow didn’t bear that about the lady being shot but not surprising. A block way from me a woman’s house did get snot up they had the wrong house the woman died from a head shot. Road rage is bad but luckily AZ is known for also one of the worst drivers so I can handle it. I feel they try me cuz they see AZ plates. You are right my phone goes off daily for amber alerts.
Nah it’s the Mexican food is made differently where your from I tried CaliMex I didn’t like it all but I came in thinking it was like the food back home.
Drivers are not that aggressive here honestly
I stay away from 410 people drive too fast and will never slow down, tailgating, weaving in n out. Why dont people go the speed limit anymore ,everyone in a damm hurry and only care about themselves. if it says 60 im going 60 and let people pass. The way the high way merges also is so annoying but again it goes back to people not slowing down and letting others pass. Were all trying to get somewhere.
Most of the people are weird, and not to smart
This is why when i come here id much rather take a truck.
Phoenix Arizona is by far the deadliest state for pedestrians
The second worst to me is the drive to Orlando airport
Those big ole San Antonio women.
I have heard tbis from sooooo many people over the years about san antonio. They are really nasty to cyclists too.
They nasty period
I live in San Antonio 🫸 🧠 🫷
I don't believe that there are many "large" cities left that are necessarily "bike friendly" or walkable for locals & visitors. Not to go to the extreme & ignorantly say there are "None" left because I'm sure there's a handful of them but from what I remember, there aren't many that are TRULY & actually walkable & bike friendly. Just a select few, to my knowledge & I doubt San Antonio is one of them. Unfortunately.
Mexico
Maybe wear orange, or don’t ride your bike when there’s just a bunch of giant vehicles all over. We do have a problem, but it’s not Just in San Antonio. It’s everywhere in the country. How many times have you seen a person with her cell phone in their face while they’re cruising into your lane? 😅
Robert....
Ride your bike in the park or out of the busy roads..specth road is outside the loop
It's a 12 mike route
😂😂
A bicycle might be his only way of transportation. Not everyone can afford a car or an Uber.
Dude, if you are going to post a rant about SA, then for the love of God, find a thumbnail photo of SA traffic (they are out there), not one of Midtown Manhattan. Oh and another thing….STAY OUT OF TEXAS….we don't y’all here. Go to Tennessee, Florida or better yet….stay put!
Yes people here drive horrible:D a few days ago when it was raining there was 3 accidents near my area
Recently, San Antonio drivers think they do not have to obey STOP SIGNS IN NEIGHBORHOODS NOR HAVE TO STOP PRIOR TO EXITIN PARKING LOTS AND SPEED TO STOP SIGNS. SAN ANTONIO HAS FEW ALTERNATIVES FOR ENTERTAINMENT DURING HOT WEATHER -- EVERYTHING IS DONE OUTDOORS IN 100 DEGREE WEATHER.
San Antonio has become really trashy just like California, Chicago, Illinois, and as for the drivers, you can tell who got their license from a Crackerjacks box 😵💫....
Traffic
I love everything about San Anto.
Same!
San Antonio LOVES running cyclist off the road, it seems like an entitlement thing, they believe that bikes don't belong on the road
If you’re not a Texan, you’re welcome to visit, but not to live here. Come, spend lots of money, then go home.
San Antonio sucks, I'm a local and I attest
We regret you came
Not much to do compared to other big cities
Drivers are the worst here
that guy just cant ride a bike
No wonder it was a cyclist 🤦
The drivers in San Antonio are terrible. … but how are you gonna blame him and say, “maybe you should watch out for the drivers” ?
Even if cyclists use the sidewalk it’s not necessarily safe, I always see broken car glass, leftover car parts on culebra sidewalk. Memorial flowers etc.
Drivers suck in SA. Many aggressive drivers and when it rains Hella slow drivers. Even sprinkling rain cause people to drive 20 on a 40mph.
Honestly the drivers are not that aggressive compared to South Florida however I will say drivers are worse in a sense that they don’t know how to drive with other people around lol
These bikers have no respect for cars
Love SA❤
Rude ppl
To me it’s the homeless
Ehh Austin homeless problem is worser than San Antonio’s
@@MrEOM41 you lived in both? San Antonio is pretty bad bro
@@Robert-jx8nr it is and naw my perception of Austin is from visiting so take mine w a grain of salt
@@Robert-jx8nr it is… and naw only SA so my perception of Austin is from visiting so take mine w a grain of salt
It’s bad here, but as someone who spent quite a bit of time on the pacific coast, Austin is closer to San Francisco, Portland, and Olympia than San Antonio is.
Kinda racist here
Not diverse
I agree the drivers are terrible!
#facts
San antonio drivers still think they're in Mexico with no car insurance
MOVE
Stop hating trick
