I'm chimming in from Massachusetts. Every day that I am able to get out of bed, see my husband and the surrounding nature, I feel the deepest gratitude that it brings me to tears. Four years ago I had a near death accident that left me with a brain like a new-born baby, unable to see, walk, or talk. With daily therapy, meditation, proper diet and a positive attitude, I healed from all the broken and crushed bones, damaged eye and traumatic brain injury. All we need is kind, loving and positive people in our life and a few comforts. It's sad that our society is so consumer driven because as you lay in bed not knowing anything, none of the STUFF has value and to me, never will again.

Thanks so much Cory for providing this series :) One thing that takes my attention everytime during guided meditation (and probably during normal meditation too) is that I get overwhelmed by thoughts and just start overthinking about everything I have to do or say or whatever. And even don't pay attention to the guided meditation anymore, is this just practice or what's a good way to solve this?

Hi Cory! I just started yesterday and instead of joining you in the morning, I’m watching the UA-cam videos before I go to bed. Calms me down. I’ve noticed that when I start doing the deep breathing, I’m starting to yawn a lot. Also, my eyes water. I do feel totally relaxed. I guess I can understand the yawning, but the eyes watering seems a little strange.
Hi there Cory. Day 2 of the meditation. I really liked this meditation specially the part of sensing the feelingness of you and to say 'hi'. I felt waves going trough my body. It was a very nice experience. In your intro you say that it is better to slowly ease your mind in the early stages (beginner) instead of immediately start with full focus for that can be a pressure to the mind. As a beginner I did start with full focus and trying to wave away my thoughts constantly in meditation. Can that be the reason for the headache I experienced while meditating?
