A lot of them from other companies and even other models from Unity are like over 200$ though. For me, that's an insane asking price when you can get a YHM or a UTG riser for 20 bucks.
I feel like the eye box on the magnifiers used in this video were set up wrong. Every shooter is different, but for me when I run a magnifier I have to get in pretty close to gain a good sight picture.

Pretty sure you guys linked the wrong ADM mount. For example, you show the AD-1700-XLR mount in the video but link the AD-1700-R 10 Lug and the AD-1700-R Dual QD mount in the video description. This is my fault, but I didn't pay attention and bought the AD-1700-R Dual QD mount expected the XLR. Luckily, it still works for my needs. Please correct me if I am wrong.

The average Americans total head to face ratio divided by the average flexibility times length of the neck is how they came up with the different hight risers. Fo to your local gun store and ask them to perform these measurements for you so you can pick the correct riser.

Is there any issue running the lower Unity FAST riser with the XPS if I am not planning on running a magnifier? All the videos and things online are saying you need the FAST Absolute, but I don't think I want/need to go that high.
If you aren’t using a magnifier you can use which ever riser you like to get whatever hight you like with the xps. My son has an xps on the Unity riser on a mk18 clone and it’s the perfect hight for him.
To be fair if you are using a LAM the Hydra is pretty good. I'm very happy with mine. Does exactly what I need. Worth the price of entry in my opinion.
YHM .5" risers and no proprietary stuff so it's simple. You need to do a red dot, magnifier, and BUI's? Easy get 2 1.25" and 2 .75" long ones for way under $100.
ADM XLR is hot garbage, only put 60rds of M855 down range, and one of the securing clips sheared off. Completely unacceptable for a mount that costs over $200 (titanium version). Save your money and buy the unity.

I refuse to buy risers. The amount of money they want for them is absolutely ridiculous. I dont use NVGs or any silliness like that. I live in the real world. No need. Would it be nice to have a flip to center mount for my magnifier? Sure. Can i live with it being a flip to side? Absolutely. Shame on these companies.

Possible with a drop stock.. look at paintball.
But there is no recoil with those markers.
I use the Wilcox riser on my Sig MCX Virtus sbr tacops and a unity and gbrs on my kac Sbr and adm on my MCX spear

Some of these risers are getting stupid, we will be back to the carry handle soon.
