My dad took and old lawn mower and cut the front side of the deck out and made a brush cutter out of it years ago. He put a little bit bigger wheels on it but it worked great to keep our river bank cleaned. You guys are doing an amazing job.

This has been so enjoyable to witness what I believe is just one of the best You Tube Channel that I watch. I watch a lot of the framily videos. It is fun to watch the progress. It is enjoyable to see the efforts that you and others have put forth. You stand out because of pretty much Gary and You and Shorty have accomplished so much in such a very very short time. You are organizing everything as you move things over. You have a plan you follow. You do what you say you are going to do. I am in awe of the progress of this homestead You Tube Videos. JunktoJems rocks. You survived the no internet deal....You have always went beyond to make sure you get your videos out. Congrats on a job well done. (FYI I have watched a few You Tube channels where they just do not get much done. You are further ahead in just a short time than they are in 18 months.)

i like the fact that you are burning as soon as you can and RAKING those twigs in the yard as well. They are an accident waiting to happen and you dont need that at this point. Good on ya guys!! Mary, pick a garden spot and put the ashes in that area to help the soil

You could always go to some of the stores they'll give you pallets that you could stack your firewood in All you need would be one for the bottom two sides in the back four of them and you could put your firewood in it and that would keep it nice and good and air can get through and make sure it's good and dry just a suggestion

The sounds I hear in the background is the same sound the Locust make here in Southern Arizona. I think you all call them Cicadas? They pretty much are same insect along with Katydids. Not too many differences between the 3.
