It works , I used them when I was doing hvac installation. We carried a bag and a wrist rocket ,so I could shoot them up under crawl spaces and into attics when we bid jobs. By the time we began work... the space was critter free.

Gary have you checked on the property records. It will be on your deed the location of the well. It should tell you where the well is located. You can contact a well driller if you knew who drilled the well they will have records. Shouldn’t be hard even if it was drilled over 50 years ago not many well drilling companies in your area, unless the well is hand dug. Or you can use dowsing rods to locate the well. Find someone who knows how to use the rods. Just a few ideas how we locate old wells on our farmland when we purchase new to us properties. The land is really looking nice. You Mary & Shorty have worked so hard on clearing everything by hand. Mary & Gary You are looking a bit tired in this heat. It has to be getting to yall. Take Care. I think I would sit in a lawn chair with a cold drink & run a sprinkler on yourselves to cool down after a hard days work. Try to keep cool. GOD BLESS

Yall have worked your butts off clearing the part of your land that was so overgrown with vines, thorns and wild underbrush. And you didn't have the convenience of large tractors. I hope the metal part that completely broke off your push weedwacker that could have hurt someone seriously will be replaced by the business u purchased it from. You've done some backbreaking work clearing the land. Didn't yall find 2 water meters on the property when you first bought it?. Love your positive attitude and this is going to be a paradise when completely finished. Especially in the fall when the trees loose their leaves it should be easier to see where you're clearing.

I totally understand about not always knowing what comes next. I am just a dumb old woman but I understand, water, electricity, internet, fixing the septic... With Gary's skill set I do sorta think getting the mechanicking area done soon for a secondary income source makes sense for acquiring building materials for the house and other projects. Multiple income sources makes sense. I just think having the resources you need means you won't have to wait on things as much.

As you are purchasing fruit trees make sure to check and find out if you can’t plant just one. Apples for example you need 2 so that
they can cross pollinate. I’ve always been told they can be different varieties so long as there is 2.

See if you have a blackberry patch...you can train them into rows so they are easier to pick. Don't plant Muscatine next to a tree, cause it will cover it with vines and kill it.
Hog panels curved into an arbor work great.
We had all those things at home and both grandparents...we ate from the garden alot...I grazed like a rabbit

🤠 FOR YOUR LIFT. being your not so short, would it be best to build a nice 2 stall taller building attached to your proposed tool shed, may be a stretch, but tall enough the roof line could extend over the peak of your tool shed, stalls and doors high enough and long enough. To easily accommodate small box trucks, may have to do in stages, such as a carport as The Dreamers 5, that one day you can relocate to a picnic/park area as a shelter house, fun to see the excitement. WELLS were normally near livestock pens, look for a livestock tank, and a. Flow pipe going to its top

Apple trees are ready to harvest early fall. Those trash trees we call them hedge trees cut them all down , as you can see they take over. I'm so glad that You and Mary decided to do the clearing by hand , weedeater and lawn mower instead of having someone come in with a tractor digging up the stumps and tearing up the ground making a bigger mess. Y'all are doing an awesome job clearing the land up. When the video is about over .. in my head I keep saying noooo keep going I want to see more of y'all clearing the land and to see what y'all find next. I use to do this kind of work for the elderly and now I am considered the elderly plus I have health problems so I can't do outside yard work.. I miss it cause I really enjoyed doing outside work. Gary check out the thrift stores for old doors and windows and you can get free pallets that you can make doors out of for the barns and shops. Y'all stay dry .. until next time.

Great news that the work shed is not leaking. Like I said before that well if there is one has to be by the house. Just hope it is on your side. Weird they divided the property where the houses are. Clearly it was one big property and they should have looked into it before dividing it up like that. Did you look at the house to see if there is any wood that is still good? Could use it to build the doors.

Mary there are two apps for the phone that I use a lot. One is Merlin, it is a bird identifier, and the other is Plant Snap. Plant Snap is a plant and tree identifier. You take a picture of the plant with your phone and then upload it to the app and it tells you it's name and other basic information about it. It might be useful to you since you guys don't know what the trees are. I am wondering if those crappy saplings are Hackberries. Here in Texas they are a pain in the behind, they draw bugs. Not sure if they have them over where y'all are. The place is really looking nice.

Maybe what you should do it go to the county seat and see if you can find the name of the last couple of owners. Then possibly contact local water well drillers. With a name and address of the property they may be able to give you the well information. Just a thought.
