I was a hardcore alcoholic for 20 years and stopped when I was 40. And a couple of years after I quit drinking. I started to drink on New Years Eve and I would get massive headaches and after drinking on New Years Eve, so i stopped doing the New Years Eve drinking and will never touch it again.

24 years ago I read the Jane Plant books and started on a raw food diet and ate totally clean for 2 years, cutting out sugar and bread completely. I recovered from stage 4 breast cancer which had spread to my lymph nodes (scary)and still very careful with my diet. Incredible! I am eating clean since a half year trying to get rid of long covid (still suffering...) but I already got used to this clean diet. I cut out more than just sugar and bread, I also reduce natural sugar (fruits), cook all myself, eat vegan mostly, no processed food (not even the vegan ones like coconut oil cheese, or tofu, etc.), no dairy. I quit smoking also. The hardest thing is to cook every day, as I hate cooking. And I dont know how to sustain this when I will go working again.... ???

LOL your FOOD LABEL story is great! You got em there!
Your story proves that good folks have been conditioned to accept and rely on certain corporate/government regulations/mandates and lies, blindly accepting the PYRAMID of processed manipulated sugar laden food.
Why? The multinational corporate interests of big pharma & food producers lobby/pay off congressmen to influence food and drug laws. Government by use of public radio, schools/education methods and media indoctrination create a compliant, sick, consumer society.
My BEEF and SALMON have no food labels either! No grains no sugars no oxalate laden vegetables. When I dropped all the bad stuff (carbs and oxalates) and ate all the meat I want has brought my arthritis/inflammation related pain WAY DOWN by about 80%.

Edit: I replied to some idiotic vegan, but I don't her comment now.
Sorry, there hasn't been a single vegan society in history. Humans can't live on grass only. Veganism is a recent (post-WWII invention). You're proving what you're trying to negate.
Luckily, there aren't many vegans even now and the number of views you get proves it.

@@anna-tn8mg I suppose that by "some idiotic vegan" you mean me. I also don't quite see your comment underneath the main comment, so I assume that there is a technical problem. Anyway, to reply to your rather aggressive statement, I have to tell you that I am not vegan myself (and I dislike the "don't eat honey because you're enslaving bees" type of attitude I encounter in modern vegans). But I have to tell you that vegan societies (although quite secluded) have always existed. It's just that they weren't aggressively promoted and their members were much more focused on their OWN lives instead of being concerned about judging other people's choices. And THIS is the real change that took place after WWII. A quite annoying change, to be frank. But veganism and its cousin, vegetarianism was alway there throughout human history.

    • @anna-tn8mg
      @anna-tn8mg 2 роки тому +1

@@eeaotly Sorry, only vegans see vegetarians as cousins. It can't be in reverse. There is a huge difference between vegetarianism (which is old and relatively speaking realistic/sensible) and idiotic post-war creation - veganism.
And yes, you're wrong about the existence of vegan societies in the past. The fact again is that humans can't survive on grass. If there were groups in grass circumstances, they died out very fast (even with some bugs in the grass). Usually, they had non-traditional forms of animal nutrients - in the water (no tap, Berkley or Brita), or bugs in some non-hygienic food, etc. which extended their existence somewhat.
Sorry to inform you but they didn't have Amazon and vitamin B12 or other nutrients available to hypocritical and/or cretinic individuals now - nutrients which otherwise are only in animals.
BTW, were your mother and grandmother vegans?

To grind flour to microscopic fine-ness, (bread) makes it impossible for that grain to have low glycemic index. The "enormous molecular surface area" of powdered grain, or even "quick" oats will produce this problem of immediate digestion, resulting as flooding the bloodstream with sugar.
If a person is already fat, the blood sugar stabilizing hormone can't get to the cell covered in fat, known as insulin resistance. Over cooking also will produce the same effect, even if the grain starts out whole, or mildly smooshed such as "thick oats".
Oats, as an example, should take hours, not minutes to digest. Sugar added, makes it worse with a insulin over production and blood sugar swings that cause more hunger. My friends eyes glaze over when I talk about glycemic index.
I'm 62, 5'11, 150 lbs I use coconut oil or butter liberally. I bring my Natural Grocers (I live in Colorado) organic thick rolled oats to a boil, and immediately remove from heat. I use organic (oft from Italy) non enriched pasta , cooked a little stiff. It seems to work for me, and not cause issues. I rarely have dessert "cake" or bread, and I hate brown rice, but do use (again, non enriched) white rice, from Asia. I don't have granulated sugar in the house, or honey, because they are "crack". You know they are... Get off the CRACK!, and move about the cabin freely. Get things done!

It's the best cook with avocado oil it's 100% pure avocado oil I use chosen c h o s e n but you know what you want if you get it if you get out of avocado oil you know what you want then next to cook with but I very sold them cook with it but I have it organic coconut oil
    The next oil use is
Extra virgin olive oil but I do not put heat to the olive oil because it'll take away it's good properties I only use that for salads and I may take a teaspoon of olive oil in a spoon about three times a week that's extra virgin outdoor I only use that for salads or to dribble on something after this cook because heat will take away the good quality from good olive oil I use colabita you may know something that's wait a minute you may know something that is better the spelling on that oil is. Colabita.
Those are the only wait a minute now I wrote something and you change my spelling what why would you do that not a b but a b v as in victory
    Colabita
    No b only v
That is the only oil I use those are the only ones I don't use it I used to use that other stuff but I don't anymore and I'll tell you one thing I use the best butter
Kerrygold . Grass-fed butter from Irish grass-fed cows this comes from Ireland you got the one with salt in it and a gold and no salt is in a silver wrapping the best put some of that Kerry go on a slice of bread are you going to know the difference it tastes good so those only fats I use but I want to tell you something I eat bacon I eat all of that but I'm going to tell you the best meat and a lot of people is not aware are they just skeptical but praise the lord we live where we have an animal that we think we should just look at but no you think beef is good buffalo which is called bison that is a North America Canada and the United States that is a North American animal cows was important into the United States it's not an original account is not original animal for the North America but cows are more manageable for farmers and things dairy Farmers and they house them and they all a boo boo and pooping and peeing and they're also confined and congested and Auburn and they can't really stay out a long time in the cold you cannot house a bison they are on the rain they have Farmers that got land plenty of land and they sell Buffalo and those buffaloes run free and buffaloes are so intelligent they'll eat all the grass here and they'll go down with that hooves and they'll dig up the the sprouts of the grass and eat it and then they will move on to give that part of the grass a time to grow back then they'll move on a little further to another area and that's a good thing so they're eating grass that the sun has put so much your nutriment in and then they're they're pooping all over and that's going back into the ground for nutrient form for them yes yes so when you go to your nice supermarkets not your little Mom and Pop I don't imagine but but you know a chain get you some buffalo bison some bites and some people call them Buffalo some people call them bison I like the name Buffalo and it's very good they have a steaks and they have ground up but you know I think the best thing if you want ground beef the best thing to do is buy you a grinder and grind by your steak and grind your own because sometimes they put filters and hamburger you know what I'm saying you know what I'm saying to kind of stretch things and then naked what they can do is put a little beef in with the bison burger that's ground so try them you don't have to get a lot of it one time but try and see how you like it cook it just like you would be no big deal it's very good and it doesn't have a whole lot of fat in it because this animal is always on the move and this animal does not always get what you call pussies great big puss sits you don't have to be sued and and pus coming out of his feet because they shoe cows but they do not shoot Buffalo's they roam freely they don't get all they don't shoot out government does not allow buffaloes to a bee shot up with antibiotics they do not they just like a deer roaming in the forest but they are on land they have been seeing on a whole lot of land and the farmers have them and they sell at Buffalo to the to the markets so that's as much as I can tell you and stay away from sweets stay away from sugar cuz it makes information and you know sometime I do get off the wagon and I indulge yes I do I ain't going to lie this girl gets kind of weak sometimes but then I get right back on and I do intermitting eating I usually try to eat within 4 hours I eat and a time slot of 4 hours then I'm off for 20 hours you know intermittent fasting that helps the body and for you people that are diabetic if you going to eat anything that's carbohydrate eat it with protein and if you don't eat it mixed in with protein what you do is put your eat your protein first eat you some protein first let it go down because when you eat carbohydrate it turns to sugar right away in your body you digested much faster but when you eat protein it it's slower to digest it's slower so when you eat protein with carbohydrate you slowing down the carbohydrate you slowing it down so you don't overwhelm your body now I don't mess only thing I'll eat now is some steel cut oats and I don't make that every day and I don't make that every week I do not no I don't I stay to the leafy vegetables to the leafy thing Spanish a broccoli cauliflower brussel sprouts asparagus things like that now I don't even mess with beans too much even though it's a cab it's a complex carbohydrate food that mean it's protein and carbohydrate but I don't mess with that too much and if I do eat it I'll just make a little bit and I'll just eat a small amount and I'll freeze it and I'll hide it from me yeah way down in the freezer hide it from me then my mind will forget I got it hopefully forget that that's all I wanted to forget so that's all I got for you that's that's what I've learned you know to if you got if you got diabetes and I know a lot of you guys know that I know you do but a lot of times people know things but they forget to share not that they don't want to share they just forget so that's it so I love you much I love you all in Christ Jesus name be the glory amen peace peace.
