Hi, great channel. Do you use steel traces on lures and live bait. Can you maybe talk about the difference between steel traces and normal leader line and what species you catch with specific traces.
Awesome Francois! We use steel trace only when targeting king/Spanish Mackerel and Wahoo. Most of the time we use fluro targeting Tuna, Dorado, Bonnies, Sailfish, kingfish, Queenfish, Garrick and even Queen Mackerel. We hardly ever pull lures with steel these days, mainly fluro. You may still get bitten off every now and then but you will get way more hook ups and surprisingly land alot of toothy predators.
@@coisjvr777 It will all depend on where we are and what we are targeting. We paddle 5km to 10km most days but certain areas we pull lures or bonnies and do around 20 to 30km in a session. Some days the fish are close and we dont have to paddle further then the 18m mark. Other days the fish maybe around the 30m mark, depending on the bait availability and current.
Yo me and my friends just started a UA-cam channel and we want some feedback on our newest vid... do u have a way of contacting you so I can show you the video

Reel Excitement thank you.
How far do you row on a day in total and how far from the shore do you normally fish.
