- An often under sung, but utterly essential role for any miniature manufacturer is that of the mould-maker and miniature caster. Working with highly technical materials and technologies Anthony Epworth has been at the cutting edge of the art and science of miniature making since joining Citadel in the 80s.
Sharing stories about his time at Citadel and Games Workshop, Bryan Ansell's Foundry, and working with Perry Miniatures, Anthony speaks about the methods behind the miniatures, the culture at Games Workshop, working on Warhammer and 40k, and what it was like when they were all younger playing historical wargames with Richard Halliwell and Rick Priestley after school.
Anthony Epworth Interview. Warhammer mould maker and metal miniature caster Anthony Epworth in conversation with Jordan Sorcery.

What a lovely chap, and really interesting interview.
The recall of moments and even exact dates was pretty impressive 😮
Agreed, lots of great detail from Anthony!
Thankyou for doing this! Moulding and casting is an art I'm worried we might loose with time so I appreciate you covering this a lot.
Cheers mate! It’s such an important part of the process and the history and it definitely gets overlooked too often; I’m really glad Anthony was up for chatting with me about his important work!
Another fantastic journey into GW and wargaming history.
Thank you Jordan for another interview, this time from a totally different side of the production of our beloved games! Sadly the audio quality and perhaps the guests style of speaking made it a bit difficult to gleam much information out of it, but I'm still half way through so perhaps there's a bit more. Perhaps you'll find another guest from the casting, mould making and production side some time? No disrespect meant for the guest, thank you Anthony for taking the time to talk to Jordan for all of our benefit and enjoyment!
I always love these behind the scenes interviews, thanks for this Jordan!
Hang on... in the 1986 Terror of the Lichemaster supplement for Warhammer 2nd Edition there is a half-Reiklander half-Tilean adventurer called Antonio Epstein who happens to be caught up in the village of Frugelhofen when the Lichemaster attacks. Was this a deliberate reference to our esteemed guest by his old friend Rick Priestley?
I'm afraid so ;)
Awesome Subject for an interview! Right up my alley!
Oh hey a lincoln school boy! My dad went there!
Cool guy
He's a master-moulder. Must be a skaven player! 😂
Hi Martha!
Another perspective of an always engrossing story
this isnt one for the books.
i love your video's, but the audio for this one leaves a lot.
