Something to ote about the canoptek court is that units that are lead by crypteks gain the reroll ability of the detachment so immortals with crypteks are nasty rerolling all hits and wounds.
2 units of immortals led by plasmancers with Szeras supporting could be a really nice component of this detachment
You know what? I would love to see a 2v2 game, with you and James teaming up with Imperial Fists and Ultramarines.

Necrons looking amazing

One other thing that came to mind thinking about your Fists army, and what I do in mine... I think it is essential to have a character in the 10 man Heavy Intercessor squad (Who's battlefield role I feel is best to defend the home objective, in cover, giving them a +1 save vs all Damage 1 attacks, shooting and melee, when in objective range. And also having that cover save too vs shooting). The major reason is to give that character the enhancement from the Anvil Siege Force Detachment, Architect of War, so as to give the unit's ranged weaponry the "ignores cover" ability... I've found this to be a HUGE bonus, being that they have AP-1 normally on all their guns... There is a lot of cover in 10th, and it's easy to gain the "benefits of cover". So much of the time that -1AP goes right away. This is what I've come to decide is the best way to go in my Fists army... Also, if you put a captain in the squad, they have access to the once per turn 0CP Battle Tactic stratagem. This mean Armor of Contempt possibly (making them VERY tanky), on No Threat Too Great (allowing rerolls to wound vs Monsters or Vehicles, a 2CP stratagem usually), Battle Drill Recall (sustained hits 1, and if stationary, which really they almost always should be, critical hits on a 5+), and finally the CP Reroll stratagem (which can always be useful). Not to mention the added shooting from the captain's master-crafted heavy bolt rifle, and added melee. Or added melee and shooting from whatever character you would maybe put in the unit. The big thing really, I feel, is to have that enhancement benefitting the unti. AP-1 is actually very good nowadays. And the difference between having a 2+ save and a 3+ save vs an entire 10 man unit + character's shooting (with the detachment bonuses) is REALLY BIG!! This unit does work!!! Very much an auto-include MVP in my 10th edition Imperial Fists Anvil Siege Detachment army ... Just my thoughts here, Luke. You know I'm in your corner trying to think of any ways to potentially help out. Or at least give some food for thought. Or ideas to consider or to look for when fighting against other armies too... -Valhallan Field Marshall Robert

This is the basis of the Necron army i'm planning but I'm waiting to see if there's going to be any major points changes before finalising it.
At around 1:32:00 till 1:33:00 you shot with the dreadnought into melee with blast. You are not allowed to shoot with blast in melee or am I wrong (big guns never tire)? :)

No Blast weapons cannot be shot into combat and can only be shot out of it. Everytime you shoot out of combat or into it -1 hit unless it's a pistol, which can also shoot into combat regardless.

I am not a huge IF fan. With that out of the way, siegestudios have done great, those are some fine painted Imperial Fists. I would have loved some blends on the yellow, but thats me nitpicking. Great batrep, i still hope to see you Luke win a game soon. ;)

One of the harder games to watch with all the saves the Necrons kept making!
But the Necron list was well balanced and very effective.
For the Imperial Fists I would like to see some agressors for extra cc punch, more dreadnoughts (redemptor is very good) and a techmarine to keep 'em running.Oh and GW need to make more characters in gravis armour 'cept captains :p

For the Imperial Fists detachment: I think that you can still re-roll wounds if the weapon firing is Heavy and remained stationary, likr thr Turret and the Bunker...question: which is the nerf for the Resurrection Orb and Necron Warriors?

you know after seeing from different channels i feel that the royal warden should have kept the heavy and assault ability least that way the 12' reaper can do some work.

How is that turret firing into the wraiths? They're engaged with the dreadnought... Or am I missing something?
How did you feel about the necron warriors? They’re definitely less less killy and less tanky than the index, but I’m curious how they really perform, don’t wanna jump to conclusions 😁😊
I would honestly recommend trying two groups of immortals with plasmancers in them. One of them lead by the lord with the max advance item. I think they are like 140+plasmancer each. so around 185 for the unit. And unlike the warriors they actually kill stuff on the battlefield.
