Any recommendations yet on the tweeter upgrades, I have a premium and I'm sure it's the same, but my head unit specs along with all speaker specs are same as base model correct? So that everything you did should fit mine? I do not have the harmen Kardin or whatever package, they refused to do the upgrade without a moon roof, I hate moon roofs, so wasn't ever an option.
Yes if you don’t have HK then it will be the same. The tweeters are actually good quality silk dome tweets and sound great. They just need bass filtered out. I haven’t yet installed bass blockers but will and then I think they will be perfect. If you really wanted to do it right you would do a component set in the front doors and dash.
@Flatline_WRX I'm a gear head, but audio dumb, wtf is a component kit, any amps that can be installed, I want a rocking stereo, otherwise I'll get bored and spend on performance parts and break everything lmfao.
@@My3lilmonsters component is typically 6.5 speakers and tweeters but they are ran through an active cross over and tied into the system. Keep bass out of tweets. Keeps highs out of the 6.5. I will be adding amps for the doors speakers. That’s coming. Along with other bass 🥴
