Giulia QV would be realistically the only competition for the M3 these days, and I’m thinking that’s only for the greater breadth of suspension settings allowing for a softer daily setting, as well as the styling/relative rarity of the car. I think it’s more of a traditional sports sedan vs a track monster.
I have the manual and honestly even in sport everything the car is still a very comfortable ride. I was surprised as well cause you step on the gas it is a race car. Steering is super light with little feed back but honestly the grip is so good you barely have to use brakes when on the road . You exit the corner thinking I could of went faster. Maybe the steering is so good ….. it feels bad . Not sure but I know what your saying. Something seems off. I keep m1 in comfort everything and then m2 sport everything . Hitting that switch changes the exhaust sound. Just blends during m1 and then in m2 becomes an absolute animal as you wave goodbye . Great video !
Another fantastic comprehensive video, covering the points that matter to enthusiasts. I don't track mine at all but echo your praise of the chassis design, even in spirited daily drives. Far too many journalists focus on its drag racing capabilities. Question for your track laps - did you run them in Comfort, Sport or Sport+ ?
@@dwnshft Sorry, I should have clarified - I was referring to the chassis/suspension settings. I've noticed this car definitely has very distinct differences between the three configurable suspension stiffness modes. Just wondering if the hardest chassis mode makes a difference on lapping.
@@Kimchiguy79 we had the chassis in the stiffest setting and that’s where it felt REALLY sharp and danced through some of the slower technical stuff better than anything else we’d had on that track
Would love to see you guys review the Giulia QV in this format. Picking one up next week, but thinking about M3 in a couple of years before they go hybrid.
the Giulia is so epic, enjoy! If we can find one in a fleet we'd love to have a go in it again - they do have a Stelvio QV in fleet so maybe we start there
@@dwnshft looking forward to the deep dive! As a guy with an 23 m340, I couldve afforded an m3 but it was hard to justify it financially given I’m not a hardcore enthusiast. It’d be nice ofc, but is it really really worth it. I told myself I’ll just pick one up used in 2025/26 if I really want it. Thanks yall - great videos, keep it up!
@@emmo119I’ve driven both back to back on a race track , the m3 is far more superior in every category. The day I understood the price difference between both machines , don’t get me wrong m340i is fantastic car , but it’s not an M car 💯🤘
Love mine. You can make the grill look better so that’s not the end of the world. The M340 front still looks more slick but the M3 is just so damn capable.

Special thanks to our Patreons for their support of the channel! M3 or…..???
Mercedes AMG C63 s e performance by far better than the the m3

got mine for exactly 5 months. perfect daily that avg 24mpg and turns into a completely different beast with a press of a button.
🔥🔥
Agreed 💯🤘😃
I have had mine for 16 months, I don’t drive much being remote but really happy with this car. Definitely going to pick up a G84 if it happens.
@@OneTwoThreePunchg84? What’s that ?
@@Top_g80comprumored to be the last gasoline M3… nothing confirmed yet but BMW may run a petrol and electric version side by side

No car in history has ever grown on me as much as this. The only problem is the ct4 blackwing. Would be a tough choice
mmmm indeed

Ran the hot laps in track mode with the minimized center screen, graduating tac cluster style, and tire temps

I accidentally flick the blinker stalk when I’m on track too in my F80. Super annoying. The stalks should be further from the wheel.
love the m3. how about the 230i
Finally an M3C video that talks about ride comfort!
it's a big deal!
Now what's your opinion on this vs the m340?
That’s next weeks video 😏👌

The grill is what made me buy one ….. very smart move from bmw to Differentiate the look from the standard 3 series
