Did you use the spring seats/valve seals that come with the kit? Looks like you kept the stock ones in. The spring seats/valve seals that came with the kit might need to be used with the springs you put in due to difference in the thickness and height of new springs. If the stock ones are thicker than the ones supplied in your kit that may be why your getting that noise. Def be something to check into. Or is it possible the adjustable push rods are set wrong?

Three months in, how are you liking that 540 cam? I just ordered the 475 for my 2019 deluxe. its a pretty light bike, should be plenty im hoping. 🍻

The Question Is Are You Happier With The 540 Or Was the 475 Sufficient Enough

Could just be that high lift cams increase the valve train noise. That is a pretty aggressive cam you went with fr this install. Thats full horsepower drag bike type cam that operates in the high RPM range. I hope you figure it out

I’m dealing with the same tick sound but doesn’t do that right away I warm up my bike than ride it 2 blocks down than the ticking sound starts up…but when it first starts just sounds healthy….
