I disagree with the single sponge. You need a minimum of 2 buckets of water and 2 sponges for a tile job when you’re grouting AND when you’re cleaning the haze. Will save you lots of time.

Or no water. Try a buffer with a steel wool pad. You will not use water ever again.

That's some uneven tile! Makes me feel much better about my tile job.

Looks good. We are doing our bathroom with smaller porcelain tile. Cleaning up after grouting not horrible. But gives your arm a workout.😂

how many rounds do you need to clean to fully remove the haze? I cleaned 3 times now, and still see haze after dry.

One sponge, eh? Not if you used charcoal black grout brothers & sisters. That sponge is gonna be pretty tired in mere seconds.......

Those floor tiles are not supposed to be staggered in the middle. Right on all the boxes they recommend a 70-30 or 80-20 stagger.. it's so stupid! But manufacturer says they pop if done that way?? 🤷‍♂️

They will not pop. The manufacturer specs a 70-30 stagger because of lippage. The porcelain planks are shaped like a bow rather than flat so if you lay them staggered in the middle, you exaggerate the lippage.

Nice video and tile work but the shower floor has to go

Yeah, that river stone stuff looks like crap. The tile job also isn't very good. The tiles are extremely uneven and one thing I have learned is that if it looks bad on camera, it looks even worse in real life.

Hi Matt, can you tell me what product you used to clean up the grout haze? We just had our floors done and the tile guys mixed thinset on our pool patio and there’s now a haze all over our painted concrete, and we can’t get it off. Tried power washing with bleach and vinegar and it’s still there. It helped a little but it looks like it just moved it around for the most part.

I seem to have grout haze in the joints gray grout but it's white. When it's wet it gray. Is it possible the sand is trapping the haze. I've never had this happen to me before.

That tiles are not for brickbond. You must told the owner or did it 1/3 brick

Washing with water will not remove the haze. Comes back when dried. Needs chemicals to remove it
