THANK YOU SO MUCH. Just got tile paid and I was dealing with this haze. Came on my fav thing to learn things (UA-cam) and you were the 1st video I watched. So grateful for your help
Will this option also work on thin set that got on top of the set tile? I tiled my bedroom and took a bit too long to clean thinner residue and now I have stained tiles.
Will this hurt ceramic tiles? I was told not to use any acid and to watch the PH looks like vinegar already my have left streaks on my new tiles. Tiles are WOW grace tile, mat in teal.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I recently had a new bathroom shower put in and this haze is on my tile. Looking closer, it was actually all over the place, walls and floor. I knew it had to be something that the guy did because I had to stop him in the middle of the job and get someone else to finish because his work was not what he said it would be. I'm happy to know this will come off with a little chemical although I was looking for a more natural approach. Thanks again for sharing!
You can use a mix of dawn and vinegar and use a brush, that’s will take care of the haze pretty easy, I just did it last week on a new black floor, the only thing is that the black grout kept a whiteish shade but I did a second last just in the grout and then sealed it and everything is good now.
@@Lucky-23. definitely didn't bother the guy until that job was complete.. he had a few jobs to do here and I wasn't letting him do the floor too, if the tile came out looking that way. Will this pull up a color seal? We had to grout some areas and then we had to color seal some areas. I was afraid to do anything to the color sealed area until it had time to set. So the grout haze was still there and I want to fix it, I just dont want to pull up the color seal with any chemical I use.
Do yourself a favor, seal your tile before you grout. I use Professionals choice high gloss sealer...:-) I'm sure they also have semi gloss and satin finish. Also helps with making it a lot easier to clean your floor later on...;-)
I wish I read this comment before grouting my rough ceramic tile. The glass mosaics ckeaned up fine because it was already smooth but the tile is spotted with haze. I couldn't see it till thd tiles dried after each wipe, by thrm it was too tough to remove.
Well, does it actually remove the scratch? I don't think so. It just removes the dirt trapped in those scratches. Any way, your video helped me to atleast remove the dirt. Also, if I look at those areas directly I dont see the scratch, but it's only visible while I'm looking at it against the light. Thanks & good luck!

What about the grout lines & how long do you have to wait, after grouting the tiles
Normally 3 weeks

Don't use the remover. Try a floor machine and a steel wool pad.
It's an ingredient found in colas( coke,Pepsi ) and dental products, look it up
does this work on peel and stick vinyl tiles too?
The acid is for grout haze. A white or red pad (light abrasive) and a good neutral cleaner should work for ur situation
Can u use that on porcelain slabs ??
